I was in the audience wearing the cowboy hat! I was shown twice to my surprise!
Chris Hillman and Al Perkins are country rock pioneers!
Ian Tyson and Chris Hillman on the same show? Giants walk the earth!!!
Chris Hillman and Al Perkins. Great stuff!. Great version of Wheels.
Absolutely!
Yes please continue to release more of these episodes, especially more of the earlier ones from '81-'82 if you can. My family and I were at these tapings, it's great to see videos of my grandmother in the audience again enjoying herself.
I saw Chris, Al, Bernie Leadon at the Ranchmans in cowville during this time. It was kinda sad....they were amazing but only a dozen people turned up, most were drunk and didn't know who they were watching.
Love it. Thank you for uploading this episode
It’s always great to see Hillmans more unusual appearances. I love his voice and Al Perkins too . Wow! ( funny To big see Perkins on his usual pedal steel .
Yes PLEASE release more of these!!
wow what a great find .. a very young chris & al pre-desert rose and in fine form ...
I love this band. The fiddle player is really entertaining. This is a get happy place
Wow this is cool, i was there! Have not seen it since it was aired back in 83! And i’m totally shown in the audience haha
Who's the other steel player? I only say other because Al Perkins graced this show with his presence.
Because that guy is great👍
The way he was playing I'm wondering if there was a prerecorded track. He definitely wanted his face on camera!
Yep I was thinking it was cool to have steel behind Al's dobro
Is the pedal steel player doing a comedy bit? In the gene clark episode he appears to be playing air guitar during the solos
