I think that being too soft and too harsh are the problem , to be a parent is to learn to find a balance . To be friendly but not a friend , to intimidate but out of respect and not fear .
Isn't that the truth. My kids are 24, 21, 15, and 11. I am already starting to realize how quickly the youngest two will be adults, and wondering what I will do when I don't have any more kids needing me anymore. I try to cherish each day, and pay close attention when they need dad. I am not looking forward to them not being around the house every day. I question whether or not I will feel like I have purpose anymore when that comes.
@@tbass94 this is the most r/woosh moment on this thread lol; the difference of getting older with kids is, experiencing all the emotions on a daily basis with the most precious thing in your life. If a person without a kid is living their precious lives, they dont have to conform to a blank canvas, on a daily basis there wont be highs and lows without having to restrain yourself to all possibilities because they dont have a human they need to raise. Kids have their own personalities, and learning to navigate your own, the daily aging of time, all the while making sure this life you brought will grow to be strong and secure. A person who experiences time on their own pursuits have a different experience than a parent who's experiencing time. And that's the wisdom our parents and other parents have that childless people wont ever understand; it's the most solid kind of love towards another that nobody could ever replace. Biology is nuts.
As a previous psycho and now a dad, it’s cool to be able to watch bills comedy morph over the years. I was actually really happy when I learned he was going to be a dad because I knew his comedy would reflect all the changes in his life, as my life was changing as well.
If you are a young dude confused dont have kids when you are a mature man with his shit together kids are the most beautiful gift ever precious beyond anything. Gives true meaning to life
The worst thing you can do as a parent is " Well we did it this way and you turned out ok" They are growing up in a completely different world for starters.
I'm too stressed about this subject to even discuss it with anyone. You keep making good music, and it'll keep trying to do right. There are currently rats coming out of my walls.
I don't remember say that. Must have been drinking. I have at least one rat in my bedroom wall. So much for having cats. They don't even try to catch that thing.p
Do you think parents today are a bit too soft on their kids? Would love to hear from other parents 🤔👇

That happens whether you have kids or not. It's just the passage of time as you get older

Bill Burr fandom: Came for the anger, stayed for the personal growth.
"...and the whole time you're thinking, 'I didn't need to be here.'"
Sums it up perfectly hahaha

You're missing a period before "when" lol
Why
" trying to find one of the 2 people on that 4000 sq ft store". Happens every time.

@@snakewhitcher4189 Glad you're ok. Stop drinking so much, mate. Frustration with the rat seems to be the least of your worries.
They say it's the best feeling in the world...
HAVE YOU NOT SEEN THE KIDS COMING OUT OF COLLEGE SINCE 2012??!!!!
@Anthony Thompson I agree man and I’m 16
Nice animations :)
Raise kids that dont have to survive their upbringing.
True, they have to live in a world that's too fucked up by the previous generations to have to deal with that as well. Lol
