If you haven't done so; make sure you anchor it down. Also silicone (seal) all around the base to the cement. You don't want rain to build up under it and raise the humidity. I'd also consider a peaked roof so water can't pool up on it too. You could make a large overhang above the fans to help protect them also.

(I'm stationed in Japan, Military, so I cant really get anything from the Goonzquad store, Im not sure if you ship overseas, but I enjoy the content all the same). Keep being awesome!
I've seen them outside but generally under a lean-to attached to the main shop. Main reason people don't have them outside is you have to push a bare steel car from the main shop into a paint booth without getting it wet or dusty or contaminated with tree sap and whatever which means you can't transfer a car in humidity, rain or wind.
outside not newer used silicone, all bugs and animals eat silicone fast off, normal outside used only acryl seal not silicone seal. acryl have lot better weatherproof and bug proof and stay longtime. silicone not stay long.
I'm not sure if the walls are magnetic but I recommend covering the walls with paper and using magnets to hold them up as an extra layer of protection. I work in a paint booth, and that's the way we do it because the spray on stuff can be hard to remove. Love the videos cannot wait to see the builds go right into paint after body work!!!!
I am so happy for you guys, you all deserve it, your own epic paint booth. Man that Lamborghini Aventador is gonna look freaking sick. Nice job, i hope you do the electrical work as well.
WHOOOHOOO FIRST COMMENT, LOVE YOU GUYS!! 🎉 Absolutely crazy to think of how far y’all have come to the even crazier builds your working on now! Been supporting y’all for a while now and never disappointed, always quality, living the absolute dream!
That cloth covering on the wire is fireproof anti-static covering. I would also recommend using a treated 2x6 stood on edge in the center of the roof then install rockwool insulation in the channels of the roof topped with regular metal roofing panels from center 2x6 to the edges with 6 inch overhang to have a slanted secondary roof that will keep the rain from building up and provide good insulation in the winter.
Im curious if that thing will produce over-spray that might get on things it shouldnt. These are usually inside other buildings. What a mess that would be.
The paint booth looks great. I hope the sealant holds up to the weather. Suggestion...spray the roof with white truck bedliner. It will weatherseal it and it will reflect a lot of the heat from the sun.
Make sure you put a screen over your intake and exhaust. That will keep animals out. I did a piece of expanded metal and then steel screen over that. Keeps out the bigger animals and bees.
Like others have said. Looks like that paint booth is meant to be inside of another building. Might need to look into more structure for it as a precaution. Stay safe guys.
What about the spray gun, doesn't the paint gun need air pressure from a compressor, so the paint booth could have been built inside a larger prefab steel building, with the paint booth off to one side, and maybe a couple more of those three vehicle hoists, to store more of their builds.
Anchor it down good boys! Also, hope you sealed up those screws on the flat area of the roof REALLY well!!! Water always has a way of finding its way in!!! Would hate to see a leak in there!!!
you needed this - you should build an office naxt to it and pole barn for some parking/storage - you still need space but you have close to perfect setup before you inevitably move again - make stuff modular and simple so you can take it with you - this will help your production and efficiency big time
I still believe that paint booth was meant to be set up inside a garage. Pretty sure its not 100 percent weather tight. One option is get a couple of short sea cans and place one to each side of the booth and have trusses built and cover it with a roof and build a back wall. With sea cans this will give you parts storage and whatnots, and the other can could be used as the paint storage and prep/mixing area.
shouda done the building first that booth galvanised or not WILL rust all the holes , cuts n screws even the sheet.. i worked wiv this stuff most o me working life. wait see
Let’s go!!! I’ve been watching you guys for a while now, since yall were working from your parents garage. To the house yall remodeled, Now yall have your own paint both! Sheeeesh!
Great progress Guys on the paint booth! I would enclose the paint booth as soon as possible. Maybe putting the frame machine on the right side of the paint booth! It looks like there is enough room. Or you could use that room as a paint prep area! Getting a building built around the paint booth opens up a lot of possibilities!
The worst damage from contaminants can be caused by silicone entering the painting environment. Often, silicone is an ingredient in the cleaners used in other parts of a shop, especially if there is a detail department. As a best practice, you should always use silicone-free cleaners
Sorry guys but the booth is WAY TOO SMALL and there's not enough working room to spray unless it's a small vehicle. There's no way an Aventador will fit in there and be abled to be sprayed let alone a decent 4 x 4. The concrete needs to be sealed to prevent any concrete dust coming out when it dries out which it will and ruin your paint despite the filters...and your air intake is on the wrong side as your neighbour across the road, has a yard full of loose metal/ gravel in bins just waiting to be sucked in if the wind is blowing the wrong way. Your entry door needs another entry room around it at least to prevent contamination blowing in despite if the fans are on creating positive pressure. For god sake don't try to mickey mouse the electrical work... Those fans are 3 phase and draw a huge load on themselves. The entire booth is metal so if you get it wrong you risk frying someone without the DANG SAUCE!! LOL... SLOW DOWN on this one and do it right, lots of mistakes have been made on this project already.... but the electrical contractor who does the power cannot be bribed to do a fast job or the extent of the job underestimated ...and next week isn't too long to wait!! KEEP SAFE!!!
Great to see the booth nearly finished guys. But i didn’t notice you bolt the ramps to the booth.I’m guessing you did off camera tho.Looking forward to seeing it complete and fully wired up.That first flick of the “ON” switch should be epic.Keep the videos coming guys.Great viewing

(I'm stationed in Japan, Military, so I cant really get anything from the Goonzquad store, Im not sure if you ship overseas, but I enjoy the content all the same). Keep being awesome!
I've never seen a Paint Booth not contained inside another Building, hopefully it has its own Hvac system
Natural parts cooker lol
They are putting a giant car port over the entire slab I believe they said in an earlier video.
They should have paid for a professional installation
I've seen them outside but generally under a lean-to attached to the main shop.
Main reason people don't have them outside is you have to push a bare steel car from the main shop into a paint booth without getting it wet or dusty or contaminated with tree sap and whatever which means you can't transfer a car in humidity, rain or wind.
@@michaelhyde641no company will install a non certified Chinese paint booth
I love you guys, how you just get on and tackle absolutely anything is pretty amazing. Keep going guys
Should have used a non silicone based sealant. Silicone causes "fisheye" in your clearcoat
outside not newer used silicone, all bugs and animals eat silicone fast off, normal outside used only acryl seal not silicone seal. acryl have lot better weatherproof and bug proof and stay longtime. silicone not stay long.
I agree anchor it to the slab.
Wow you are a genius
I am so happy for you guys, you all deserve it, your own epic paint booth. Man that Lamborghini Aventador is gonna look freaking sick. Nice job, i hope you do the electrical work as well.
WHOOOHOOO FIRST COMMENT, LOVE YOU GUYS!! 🎉
Absolutely crazy to think of how far y’all have come to the even crazier builds your working on now!
8 lights + 2 walls
Proceed to put 5 in one and 3 on another... Genius!!
The paint booth looks great. I hope the sealant holds up to the weather. Suggestion...spray the roof with white truck bedliner. It will weatherseal it and it will reflect a lot of the heat from the sun.
I'm so excited about the 45 degree angle lights in the booth they are a game changer.
Yeah that should be interesting if the roof leaks and water hits those lights first !
You guys killing the game 💪🔥🔥🔥
Love the content! The paint booth looks epic, can't wait to see you guys put it to use! You guys are killing it!
You guys came along way.
Remember when you guys was in your parents garage
Dreaming about the position where you guys are now
super motivational
Make sure you put a screen over your intake and exhaust. That will keep animals out. I did a piece of expanded metal and then steel screen over that. Keeps out the bigger animals and bees.
You guys should really work in an slaughter house your butchers skills are unrivalled 😂
Seeing how far you boys have come in the past few years is amazing. Keep it up
Why do I have a feeling an upcoming video will be "we didn't get the permits or approvals, so we have to tear it down".
We can only hope! 😛🍿
Like others have said. Looks like that paint booth is meant to be inside of another building. Might need to look into more structure for it as a precaution. Stay safe guys.
are you gona build a structure above and around the paint boot to protect it from the element ???
What about the spray gun, doesn't the paint gun need air pressure from a compressor, so the paint booth could have been built inside a larger prefab steel building, with the paint booth off to one side, and maybe a couple more of those three vehicle hoists, to store more of their builds.
Congratulations for your new paint booth build.. hope you and your family's successful.. from Malaysia 🇲🇾
Anchor it down good boys! Also, hope you sealed up those screws on the flat area of the roof REALLY well!!! Water always has a way of finding its way in!!! Would hate to see a leak in there!!!
i doubt it, you can clearly see daylight in the back left hand corner when they are standing inside at the end of the video.
It will leak for sure, I hope they don't get electrocuted while using the booth in rain.
you needed this - you should build an office naxt to it and pole barn for some parking/storage - you still need space but you have close to perfect setup before you inevitably move again - make stuff modular and simple so you can take it with you - this will help your production and efficiency big time
🎉YESS SIR WE OUT HERE 🎉
Good to see you guys get your own paint booth
YES SIRS LOOKS PHENOMENAL! I remember when yall were working out of the family garage; yall came such a long way! congrats : )
Use foil tape to seal it airtight, just like hvac
Yup, this should solve ALL the issues I see with this booth, maybe some big zip ties as well, good to go lol f'n idiots I swear
Attention to detail and hard work. Love this channel.
They already said they were building a carport OVER the paint booth.
They really need a separate area to do prep work. Doing it in the storage building is a bad idea.
shouda done the building first that booth galvanised or not WILL rust all the holes , cuts n screws even the sheet.. i worked wiv this stuff most o me working life.
wait see
@@jamief639nobody cares bro
I see pops working hard! I like the booth.
Would be cool to see a crazy paint job in the following build.
Oops!
Big double oooops! 😂
Cured silicone seals isn’t going to impact anything…
No tire shine or clears the silicone sealer will dry and won't be airborne.
Sweet Paint Booth guys congrats on finally getting one that is right for the builds.
Perfection, as always, from you guys and pops!
