Shop is in an industrial area. 3 phase power is for sure available on the pole. Also, there’s no way the booth will require an additional 400amps. Find a better electrician.
Get a separate 3 phase service for the booth that's big enough for everything then you can migrate the shop over to it as time allows then ditch the single phase if you want or keep it for future out buildings.
For those of us who are not electricians can you elaborate. I understand that single phase electricity is normal for the domestic home. Three phase electricity is common in industrial settings, where it help electric motors start with more torque. Bu some places refer to the number of supply cables terminating in the service box as phases. These in fact are separate single phase supply lines that simply add the ability to draw a larger maximum current (amps/watts) Is that correct?
@@JACB006 Google exactly this: 3 phase vs single phase It explains it far better than most here have the time, patience, will or knowledge to explain it here. Plus I don't have to pretend to be smart.
@@JACB006 it's the same thing, 3 phase is 3 phases each on a separate wire, each phase could supply a house with single phase power if you'd be so inclined. The phases are matched in voltage and exactly 1/3rd of the frequency separated so together they could perfectly power a 3 phase electric motor (the paint booth probably has 2 big ones in the fans). Because their frequencies are shifted you can't simply wire them together to get 1 more powerful supply, they'd short circuit into each other and cause a fire.
@@tincoandringa4630 OK so electric motors are single or three phase (no such thing as a two phase motor) and you can have as many supply cables (phases) as you choose depending upon availability and demand/load.

Guys. I can’t see your paint booth requiring 800 amps :s It’s only a compressor, LED lights and a few TPN fans. Upgrade your incoming connection with the DNO to 3 phase and neutral. Then arrange an SWA cable from your existing building (From a new MCCB sub main board) in the unit, to a smaller new TPN Distribution board inside the paint booth. Feed your kit off that. That’s how as a UK Electrician I would imagine it would go. The USA maybe different 😊 Would love to come over and help you guys out!
I honestly think their electrician saw an opportunity to rip them off when he saw all the money inside the shop. 800 amps is ridiculous for something like that and I bet it'll end up costing them over $100K.
Hey morons, the paint booth doesn't require 800 amps, the entire shop does because they are out of power with just the 2/ 200 amp panels. You cannot run 3 phase to the current setup(it doesn't work that way) you need new meter box and 3 phase panel.
I agree, 800 amp service is bs. Bet if you put a amp probe on existing service doesn’t even pull 50a. If you go 400 a 3 ph, that’s 1200 amps of power available. You guys are getting hosed.
@@MrArcticPOWER Their "electrician" is probably a relative or another Ukrainian who doesn't have the slightest clue. How could that panel confuse any US commercial electrician? They said they needed to send him a picture of the panel from the old paint booth so he could figure it out. 😂🤣😂
Can't wait for your paint booth! I will say, like others have, it might be a good idea to build a canopy or cover for the paint booth; even though it can be outdoors, the elements are gonna beat it up, and also painting in the winter in colder temps might affect your paint jobs. Just some thoughts!

Great content, as always. I do prefer that new style. As for your paint booth electrical issues, you really need an industrial electrician and get your shop converted to 3-phases. You'll most certainly save on your power bill (if your power factor's good). Converting your paint booth to 2-phases would require a 350A infeed instead of the 250A that it has (and a new panel and 2-phase motors). 2 to 3-phase converters aren't meant for such big amps, they're made to run a single piece of equipment, at low amps (think 20A). Good luck and keep the content coming!
You guys are my absolute favorite to watch. I’ve been itching for a new video all week. Once a week not good. You guys are like friends for a lot of us.
Keep it once a week dont get burnt out and start watering down your content. Also don't force the content let it flow you boys and your team have done an amazing job. Finally back to the Lambo build. I love the long form videos. Keep them coming. The clear wrap makes it look like the paint is not matching. Hopefully, we are going to see this beast put together 100% soon. Well done boys👏👏
There is no 2-phase. You guys have single phase. You can use a single to three phase converter or a Variable frequency drive to get the three phase you need.
Just have utility drop three phase power to your shop. It will take some time as you need permits and new panel to get all sorted out the right way. You guys should’ve check this before you bought the paint booth.
Hi! I am a electric engineer, I am NOT familiar with USA electric system but as far as I know there is NO simple way to convert a 2-Phase system to a 3-Phase. The transformer can change voltage (120 to 240 / 120 to 400) anything you need but it cannot create a NEW phase.
@@loganfawcett5492 Most panels are more than half empty . And all it takes is a bit of wiring and the breaker itself just clips into place in the panel box . A 3 phase breaker just takes up double the space that a regular one does . And upping the amps is just as easy .
The lambo is looking great so far!, 2 videos a week is enough, you guys deserve to have a life and enjoy the product of your work. Work to live, not live to work.. thanks for the great content Guys!
Yeah. Def get the utility to run a 3phase to your existing building or directly to the paint booth. 3 Phase is not a big deal and your electricians should be able to do a simple plan for you. 800 volts sounds to high. 3 phase 400 is probably what you need. Get an elec engineer to do a simple plan for you. Save you some money.

@@JACB006 Google exactly this:
3 phase vs single phase
It explains it far better than most here have the time, patience, will or knowledge to explain it here.
I agree a separate 3 phase 480v service if the power company can provide to you. Probably could get away with less amps
I Would love to see you go back to the old schedule! What can I say!!! U guys got us spoiled with the two days schedule and I honestly get restless having to wait longer to watch one of ur videos!! 😂 either way, great job guys! Love the videos and enjoy the content u guys have been putting out for us!! Can’t wait to see the lambo all put together and all the projects u have in the pipeline and what’s to come.
The mendacity of these 2 goonz.😮
I like the new video setup. Reminds me of when I first started watching Goonzquad with the Lamborghini Hurricon.
Great paint job Dudie! I’m looking at your paint job and I don’t know what other guys see but I see the same shade all over! Great job guys. 👍👍👍👍👍
you are color blind then.
We loved the old upload schedule, bring it back
Those paint suits are the best investments you both ever made.
I won’t lie I like your old schedule of videos, but that aside you guys are my favourite channel hands down! Great work as always. car looks amazing 😊
that exhaust is so wicked. cant wait to hear this rip when done. yall need to do another track day with all the cars! its been like 5 years man
Great video, it's a shame the new paint booth is causing so much grief. Love the videos where your family members are in them, great to see the strong family lifestyle we don't see much anymore. I also liked the previous platform where there were videos Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. It was more informative and kept the viewers up to date a little better. Looking forward to seeing you drive the Aventador around town. Keep up the awesome job, thanks.
It was a relief to see another episode as I was beginning to think something had happened to you guys.
Same here
Yeah they are get lazy !
@@tnolan3176 bro they cant upload all the time especially after painting and sanding an entire aventador
@@Nathan.t140 they used to post every two days consistently for years. I don’t think there’s an excuse.
@@Tjack860you should start your own so u can post every 2 days. Lol
I love your channel. Everything from the way you present to the the projects your work on. What is even better is when your father, mother and wives are involved with the show. They add something extra which we viewers like. I'd rather see 3 videos that are the same content of your 2 videos than you trying to consolidate into 2 short videos. Keep up the great work. Try something unique in the future like a barnyard find or a smashed classic and give it away when your are through with it. Once again, I look forward to enjoying your content several times per week. I even started watching your collaborative channels
What's unique in it? Many UA-cam channel doing those stuff already😂
@@TNT-ml1llnot true at all, these kids channel is a lot more family and professional. I definitely rock with the goon squad nothing fake about them brother.
@@TheHeatMag bro you don't know anything about it I can say. Their behavior with other people off the camera is very absurd. Also flexing on money and expensive stuff, ruining brand new truck by burnout and drifting, speeding on public roads is not kid friendly. Wasting perfectly fine material, trucks, tires, loud exhaust is not environment friendly either.
@@TheHeatMag also you might not aware about the dog abuse they did couple years back and they got backlashed from their viewers.
I find i just don’t want the vids to end.
This channel is the best of its kind on UA-cam, love your work Lads.
And great to see mom.
What you guys like more, you're doing all the work and I appreciate all you do 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Your content needs to keep flowing a few times a week to keep your audience attentive and wanting more. Don’t rush your content and overlook the quality and care your builds deserve from prep to completion. You guys rock!
What content? I would rather watch Thomas the cat when they had real videos
I love the content but I've been missing the Tuesday and Friday videos
They don’t give fuck for us anymore, now they have money! And fuck the rest! My opinion! Really miss the old O.G vlogs
You just contradicted yourself
New shop has killed the spirit and content. Smaller shop more content bigger shop less content. The only bonus is they aren't using 10min of the video on food blogs anymore 🎉
Y’all said we’d like the new video upload schedule. 20 minutes once a week DANNNGG.
The mendacity of these 2 goonz.
I prefer the 3 videos a week
If it was a 30 or 40 minute video once a week would be fine but 1 video once a week for 20 minutes and 10 minutes of all talk SUCKS !!
I love you guys and I’ve been watching since the lightning strike house. But yeah, we need more than one video a week at least two love you guys and it’s awesome to see the progress y’all have made and I know your parents are very proud of you. keep up the good work.
Just get a 3 phase generator and use it when you paint..
This, redoing the electrical panel and running up 3 phase to the paint booth will end up costing more than the paint booth itself.
They are Fools what you expect
Guys. I can’t see your paint booth requiring 800 amps :s
It’s only a compressor, LED lights and a few TPN fans.
The USA maybe different 😊
Would love to come over and help you guys out!
Was missing you guys this week! Great job though!
I like the old ways you guy did your video
Don't be modest Billy, it's you with the right gun. We already know you are a great painter.
Gday guys,
Lovin the builds, top effort. How about a comp that your international “family” can enter? 😁
Hope you’re all having a great weekend,
Cheers
Can't wait for your paint booth! I will say, like others have, it might be a good idea to build a canopy or cover for the paint booth; even though it can be outdoors, the elements are gonna beat it up, and also painting in the winter in colder temps might affect your paint jobs. Just some thoughts!
I love the new style of videos. Longer the better. I like how you guys got so much done in one video. Really makes it worth the watch if you ask me. Totally genuine guys doing excellent work. Who wouldn't want to watch you guys! ❤
Whats so new about the video ?? its still short and posting 1 a week instead of 3 a week !
Just amazing guys! HOWEVER 2 vids per week would be nice! Keep up the great job!!
Prefer the videos every 2days! Such a long wait once every 5-6 days and it’s something to look forward to every other day! Hopefully it can go back to that! Keep us engaged more often throughout the week and month!
Need 2 videos a week Otherwise I got the shakes man. 👍🇺🇸🇬🇧🇬🇧👏👏
Good luck and keep the content coming!
exactly!
You guys are my absolute favorite to watch. I’ve been itching for a new video all week. Once a week not good. You guys are like friends for a lot of us.
One sided friendship isn't considered as friends. Move on they don't consider you as a friend 😂😂
@@TNT-ml1ll these guys are cool. Your not. I’m sure they are thankful and glad we are all watching.
@@Concernedcitizen723 friend don't scam in a name of giveaway. They could just giveaway if they are really thankful for their fans.

Keep it once a week dont get burnt out and start watering down your content. Also don't force the content let it flow you boys and your team have done an amazing job. I really like the weekend trips on the boat and friends coming along it not all about building cars. I would love to see some of your mums recipes when she feeds you and if she harevest her own food

💯
Lol. It's opposite. This channel is going downhill from last year.
@@TNT-ml1ll i think they went up when ur mom went down town idk 🍼😧
Definitely prefer old schedule with three uploads a week
Finally back to the Lambo build. I love the long form videos. Keep them coming. The clear wrap makes it look like the paint is not matching. Hopefully, we are going to see this beast put together 100% soon. Well done boys👏👏
I was thinking the same thing about that clear bra
You two are very lucky to have a great mom to bring you delicious food!
Sun, Tues, Thurs became a routine for the last 4 years of my life...I'd love to see you stick to it...but either way you guya are awesome!
There is no 2-phase. You guys have single phase. You can use a single to three phase converter or a Variable frequency drive to get the three phase you need.
I KNEW the color wasn’t gonna match. Look at the bumpers against the fenders! It’s like they’re allergic to blending.
Just have utility drop three phase power to your shop. It will take some time as you need permits and new panel to get all sorted out the right way. You guys should’ve check this before you bought the paint booth.
They arent that smart !
@@tnolan3176 jealousy is a powerful thing!! Lmfao
Hi! I am a electric engineer, I am NOT familiar with USA electric system but as far as I know there is NO simple way to convert a 2-Phase system to a 3-Phase. The transformer can change voltage (120 to 240 / 120 to 400) anything you need but it cannot create a NEW phase.
Love this video and all the work you got done, but like videos all through the week! Missed you guys!
Quick suggestion, on your paint booth why couldn’t you ask your electrician to run separate meter for it, looks like there is a pole by it
That’s a good idea, it saves needing to upgrade your shop panel. You’d still need a transformer. Definitely worth a call to your power company.
@@loganfawcett5492 Most panels are more than half empty . And all it takes is a bit of wiring and the breaker itself just clips into place in the panel box . A 3 phase breaker just takes up double the space that a regular one does . And upping the amps is just as easy .
Depending where you are, some power companies dont allow 2 meters in one property
Because it's been built without a permit so legally they can't have a separate meter for that building.
your elektrician not have real this map, maybe amateur, but not pro if not can make all nice working.
The lambo is looking great so far!, 2 videos a week is enough, you guys deserve to have a life and enjoy the product of your work. Work to live, not live to work.. thanks for the great content Guys!
Just run three phase to the paint booth from the service pole. You'll have separate service and a meter for future expansion
AWESOME! Its nice to see lot more done in your videos.
Hey! Love all your videos. I have been missing more content but when things get slow, do what’s best for you and your families. Y’all have been GRINDING for years and it’s paid off. Not a bad idea to reevaluate the future business.
Love your content
Keep up the work boys
I love the 3 times per week schedule. And doing your house and holidays is no problem. Don’t forget that your money comes from the viewers, do if you want to keep us as a sponsor you need to feed us. No feeding means your business will dry-up and also you guys need to pay your bills.
I have noticed that specially Elsar has significantly less interest in the channel. So make a choice how to continue!
All decisions are good. But don’t loose something good you build up.
What happens when you rush things like they do ...like the reataing wall..the shed they built in the woods bet it looks awful if it hasnt slid off the hill
Paint job looks great.
Hi guys, I just really love your content. It feels so original and from the heart, but i liked the old style of content.
Just me or the bumper, hood, fender, door not match? Quality of paint looks great
Hey if it works it works! Sometimes old is gold 😎
Should get the paint booth enclosed and better protected while waiting for power
I can't believe they built that booth outside and exposed to the elements.
I like this nerw style, It's always good to have a better quality video then a short one without much.
You boys should extend the exhaust tips so you don't burn the bumper down. 🔥🔥
While you’re waiting for your paint booth to get finished you should consider putting the paint booth in a building to protect the new booth
They already said when they poured the pad thays whybit was so big. They ordered a pole building package to cover and protect it.
They did mention putting a carport over it.
Yes👌🏼👍🏼
No need for that... That paint will flow on nice with the booth cooking in the 100 deg sun. Hahahahahahahaha
No need to protect it, just buy another one.......
Where are you guys.? Its been so slow.
I prefer the more regular uploads, even if it means less progress per episode
Great video.. Still lovin' the trackhawk, from years past.
Keep this style of video going!!!
Love it when mom and dad show up with food. Love this family. Glad you got it painted and this one gets moved a bit closer to the finished column. Curious as to what's the hold up with the 911? Did ya'll ever make the project board in the office space upstairs? Unfortunate setback with the power but you learn, recover and move on.
You guys have come such a long way and should be very proud of your growth and progress! Love watching your videos!
Yes. Came such a long way now trashing their work and look at that color match job they did on this car.
