In this video, we give this pair of women's FRYE cowboy boots a complete overhaul. The soles on these boots were a total disaster and needed help. We put on new welts, upgraded the soles to JR leather, added stacked leather heel blocks and gave the soles a bit of a decorative flair. This restoration was a total success! Time for another shoe or boot makeover.

If you would have told me a year ago that I would be a fan of a youtube chanel about shoe repair, I wouldn't have believed you. Yet here we are! Always super excited when a new video is released!
The same bro😎👍👞🥃
We really appreciate y’all watching! Thank you!!
My story exctly.
I absolutely love watching the process! Tempted to call the local cobbler to see if they’d be interested in me apprenticing.
Same here , even restored a few pairs of goodwill shoes myself. Of course I didn’t take them apart but it was still fun !
Wow, this is another excellent repair. The owner is going to be super happy with her boots. You guys are second to none. Thank you for sharing your videos with us.
You’re too kind. Thank you very much!

Yay! I’m glad you have a pair of ladies shoes. They look great as always!🐝🤗❤️
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed.

Great job on the women’s boots. They practically look new. The quality of the craftsmanship is truly amazing. T&T always killing the game!
@7:36 one can see the precise detailed work these guys do. The fact that they show what may well be a 'trade secret' on how not to mess up a toe welt, is absolutely amazing. This tradecraft sharing is exactly what we all need to further the tribal knowledge that drives us all long. Well done guys, and awesome channel.
From the son of a shoe repairman, 👞 I liked what you did for the boots. I myself would have been a shoe repairman myself but my Dad thought I moved to slow, but that is OKAY I learned how to do the job anyway. Learned the leather craft and I have a good hobby. Now I am making a pair of slippers from scratch, using sheepskin and elk leather. I am going to subscribe.
My favorite way to begin my weekend. Drinking a great cup of coffee and watching you gentlemen demonstrating your talents. A true work of art. Cheers!
Thank you very much for watching us!

Perhaps the the most understated thing I have ever heard on this channel: "We just got these boots back into good, working order." this was a magical transformation - beautiful work, Trent!
Seeing masters at work is therapeutic. Love your work guys.
Your channel is mesmerizing and I can hardly stop watching. Love the passion and the quality of your work. I just love the spirit and the down home feeling when I watch you two work!
Great resto, what a transformation! The customer will be pleased, and made a smart move to hand them over to you. You guys are the best.
Love the coffee idea. I love hearing people's review if different coffees, whiskeys and craft beer. Looking forward to more of these.
As always, great work. I enjoy watching your craftsmanship and the end result. I’m a boot guy so really liked this one.
Thanks so much, Ray!
This was a joy to watch, with a wonderful memory. My dad had a pair so similar that he wore for 20 years. Had the soles redone at least twice. His had the color of oxblood polish. I still polish my own leather shoes the same way. ❤ thanks for the memory
I'm so thankful for my local cobbler.... I have saved more than one pair of boots at this point. And by I, I mean my amazing cobbler! The work you all do is awesome you save people a lot of money and you bring stuff back to life. Reduce Recycle Reuse
I am constantly amazed at the skill and detail you gentlemen display on every job you do. Those fine touches set you apart from the crowd...Over the past few years, you guys have educated me to the point I can confidently choose a quality pair of footwear.
Excellent job my friends! What a difference. They came out beautiful, as usual 🥰
Awesome work!! The soles finish looks like Bedo’s leatherworks. Great job guys!
Glad to see these video's are coming consistently! Thanks for the content
Thanks for watching!
Well, this is such a great revelation in boot repairs, what a fantastic job you made of what was probably a fairly good make of boot and you made them like new!
Thanks for taking us through the stages of the repair, I would only like to ask, was it more financially better to repair than replace as I know shoe repairs can be very expensive and probably that is why in many cases it is cheaper to buy new and that is probably why so many shoe repairers seem to have gone. Thanks for this, so well done.
Great professional job! Always a pleasure to watch you guys work!
Thank you very much!
You guys do some amazing and incredible work. Thank you.
I live in Comanche Texas and I have soooo many friends who I have grown up with, rode and roped with and out of 100 I can't name you 1 single person, woman or man who wore FRYE Boots.
Love how they look. Fantastic repair 👍👍
I spent many a day watching my uncle repair boots in his Red Wing shoe store in Glenwood MN.
Good times
I wish I had kept my Frye boots from high school…love your channel and look forward to seeing you show some boot love.
There are times I'm in the mood to watch more of uppers' taken care of, and times I want more of the soles.
You guys always know what I want 😜 thanks!
😁 we’re just happy you watch our channel!
Looks like those were sent in just in time. Great work as always. As usual with your work, the next time they need to be resoled, it should be easier for you or whomever does it because of the quality work you did.
I love watching your channel with a nice cup of coffee on Saturday mornings!
Thank you, Aaron!
Man oh man, I love myself a good pair of cowboy boots! Wonderful restoration on these guys :)
Thank you!
Well that's a first I was looking at my phone and your notification came over 😂 couldn't hit that button quick enough
Well, we really appreciate you taking the time to watch our videos!
Beautiful job! You always impress.
Loved the video and the sponsor placement was so smooth!
Thank you!
Love when you post new videos. Great work as always.
Thank you!
One of my favorite videos thus far. Very sweet!!!
Thank you, Christina!
Awesome video as always Gents. Great start to my day while enjoying my coffee.
Thank you!
I have a pair of Timberland boots with plastic heel blocks with layered leather strips/veneer covering them. I haven't worn into the plastic heel block from the bottoms, but I have worn the leather veneer out of the corners, from hooking the heel block things like chairs and whatnot.
These came out great. Nice work.
love yalls videos first off , but have yall ever thought about doin a shoe resto and getting the customers reaction?? think that would be awesome , love yalls work keep the vids comin!!
Great video as always!! Keep them coming!
Thank you!
It’s about time you guys come back glad to see ya 👋
My grandfather was a cobbler and worked at the doc marten factory in Northampton and I never expressed I interest in shoe maintenance and repair and this Channel has shown me the incredible things people do to such simple things
That is so cool! We both owned a pair of Doc Martens that we bought in the 90s while visiting London. Back then, as you mentioned, they were still made in England. Now, I believe they’re made in China and elsewhere. The quality of the new Doc Martens just isn’t as good. Would love to have visited the old manufacturing facility.
Why do I suddenly want coffee at 5pm? Such a bad influence
man, this stuff is so relaxing to watch...as my wife is next to me watching a loud ass horror movie on tv. Great job on these videos! Thank you!
Many greetings from Ukraine! Thank you for another portion of absolute satisfaction! Great job! Waiting for the next videos... again and again!
What a transformation, guys! The boots look gorgeous, arguably better than they ever have. I hope the owner is now motivated to care for them a bit better. Fingers crossed. 😊 Enjoy your weekend.
Thanks, Anthony. They turned out pretty good. Hope you have a weekend as well!!
You just got new subscriber. I love your craftsmanship.
Can you guys do a video on good products for at home shoe care? Maybe covering the specific tools and techniques that y’all use and have success with?
Phenomenal work as always gentlemen!
Thank you sir.
Awesome content! Really love your channel. Nice segue into your sponsor too.
Thank you! We appreciate you watching.
I wasn't looking at my phone when you started that coffee ad so yeah that noise had me worried about what was on my screen
Love your work, they look beautiful
Great work as always.
I wish I could do this for a living!
Something about working with shoe leather and rejuvenating old soles is very rewarding.
There are no cobbler schools.
Those came out great , nice job 👍😀
Asking for a thumbs up before the video starts is like a waiter asking for a tip before serving you
Miles and miles of use in the forecast for these revitalized boots. Nice job!
And now we know what rocket fuel keeps the two of you going through the resoles: Coffee! Mahalos! 👍
Haha…yes sir. 😁
Amazing job. Well done
UA-cam algorithms can be a wonderful thing
from Oklahoma Dude Ranch, to Urban Cowboy...in 17 Minutes. Great Work...they Look Stunning...!
Great stuff once again! Keep it up!
Thank you
Amazing refurb job! Sooo much better than off the shelf Fryes.
Beth Dutton would be proud to wear those boots!
Happy Saturday Trent and Heath from the UK
Thank you so much for watching! Happy Saturday!!
I think its nice you remind us to press like, because I forget to do it. Excellent work, by the way! That will be one happy customer! :D
Thank you, Karina!
Didn’t know you could make boots that were in that bad of shape look that good.
Very good video.
Beautiful work.
Good one, nice work, thanks for sharin'....
Saphir's Creme Universelle is fabulous. I have lots of Saphir products, but keep coming back to this basic conditioner. Sometimes you don't have to reach to the top of the product line to get excellent results.
👍
Great to see Mount Gluvius still going strong! Thanks for the great video once again
Thank you, Drew!
Absolutely fantastic job.!
Thank you!
These made a serious comeback from the dead.
Great Job, i really appreciate your videos! One general Question: Why don't you make a saddle stitch for attaching the new welt? I have tried both techniques (yours and the saddle stitch) and to me the saddle stitch seems much more durable.
Diggin' your cast iron Star Nail Cup!
Good job. Thanks for video.
First off i love your channel, my grandfather was a cobbler and it reminds me of him.
I have very wide feet 5e what good quality all around / work boots would you recommend.
Thanks & God bless
Matt.
😂😂😂 Love the blown tire analogy!
Beautiful handy work on them lady cowgirl boots!! So sad to see 5.6k views with only 1.5k likes 👍 come on viewers they sure do deserve alot better then that!! Keep it up gentleman!!
Thank you sir! We really appreciate it.
Outstanding job!!!
Thank you!
That twisted wax thread is like a using a fender washer on a bolt to reinforce sheet metal.
I may just have to send my cowboy boots to yall to get the soles repaired. I've been looking for a place to resole them for the past year.
Smooth segway into the video sponsor. Smooth!
Love the patina on these boots.
You sure slid that commercial in seamlessly… great video!
😉 Thanks for watching!
She's going to be one happy cowgirl ! Looks like those boots are better than new .
Would you be able to change the heals on a pair of Toni Lama buckaroo boots ?
excellent work!
Good morning Trent. I have to admit when I first saw the thumbnail for this video that this was going to be a repair on a pair of mens boots as generally guys are more apt to wait until it's almost too late to get repairs done. I guess it can happen with ladies boots too. As they say never assume anything. BTW that was a pretty slick segue into the coffee ad. ; ) Have a great weekend. : )
😂 thank you very much!
Hi Guys, I like your videos and the idea of deconstructing the shoes to really see and explain what it is made of. I have slightly different question for you guys and its related to fitting. I am having a challenge to find a right pair of shoes considering my wide feet with high instep. Every brand have a different way of measuring it and its mostly trial and error. So I want to know if you guys can give some tips which I can share with shoemakers to find that perfect fitting which will be comfortable enough.
Excellent job
Cool video. It makes what to get some leather boot conditioner and put some on my boots
Thanks, Glen
Wow! Fantastic!
love you guys... particularly when you do cowboy boots!!!!
Thanks, Justin
I don’t have shoes nice enough to repair, but boy do I enjoy these videos.
Time to take those boots two steppin’.
Wow!... Simply wow.
Remember the scene near the end of The Blues Brothers where as they park and get out of the car it just falls apart? Another bit of wear and these boots would have done the same. 😝 Great restoration. Love the videos and always give a TU!
😂 thank you!
Your a great craftsman.
so that sponsor placement was super smooth, well done
Thank you sir. 👍
Those boots were worn down to the rotors. Beautiful restoration!
really nice work
