- One of the most common honda failures, snd a very good way of saving some money, a brand new pumpmis around 1000$, a rebuilt one is around 300$ .. this one is fixed for 20$ and one hour from my time.

Awesome vid! I have the same leak, I caught it with a dye. Gonna replace the seals inside the pump soon and see.
Is possible to just take out the four screws of the pump, that is, the front piece, without taking out the whole assembly,, including the pulley?
What size spanner/socket is used for the tensioner?
Hi. So when a pump fails. Is usually the O rings? Or can it be internal parts? Thanks for sharing
Could be both, depend on what u mean by failed !
I have finished rebuilding with new o-rings/seals but the pump whines much worse now. Have tried to bleed but whine is still present, any ideas to fix?
Pump is shot most probably ..
Replace two other O-Rings inside hose attachments. One is black, other is orange. Pay attention to which hose takes orange because a video I found, they found 2 black and when I did mine, I also found 2 black. OMG, the noise is completely gone! What are the part numbers for the seals? I need the exact same ones to fix my car

@@dabruiser7938 Looks exactly the same as my '06 Acura TSX, but a lot of 2000's model Acura/Honda's have this same power steering pump.
so dit it fix the leak?
