You have the shortest yet most effective video on the tube. TOO you're the only woman I've seen doing a video on this issue.Thank you for being direct and to the point. 👍
Hopping on here to say, thanks to you and your very clear directions, my thermostat has properly been reset and my AC is pumping again!! Your video was the only helpful one. I reset the thermostat plus changed the batteries for good measure, even though it didn't need replacement. For 2 summers the maintenance guy kept claiming it was pumping cold air just fine, yet the thermostat was consistently like 6-10° off. Not to mention it NEVER felt all that cool. You are a lifesaver!!!
Who would have ever thought! It looks like this video was produced for the tenants of The Flat at Ridgeview and here it is solving thermostat issues everywhere. My 14 year old thermostat, when switch to the A/C mode would drop the room temp about 2-3 degrees below my desired setting, running constantly. I did exactly what she demonstrated in the video and also added 2 AA batteries which were not necessary due to it's being hardwired, but did so to have a gauge during a power failure. After switching the breaker back to the on position, the thermostat works perfectly. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!!! I was freezing.. all videos I went through didn't helped I argued with my spouse about it till finally I run in to your video 🙏 thanks again!!! Woman rock!💪
It worked! But I did something a little different, I turned it off for 5 minutes and that didn’t do it. So we took the unit off from the wall, essentially the same as flipping off the circuit breaker, to make sure the wires are not loose and when we replaced the unit it was working. Btw we are in a house and not at the Flats at Ridgeview. There are dozens of videos but I couldn’t find one on this subject except yours. ,
I just purchased a PRO1 T-701. It works very fast to cool down an Apartment. How long before the Temperature drops to the next degree? I'm Freezing! I don't know how to get this unit off the wall. I need help I wrote to you yesterday, I need a Technician in to explain to me on phone. I paid a huge price for this unit. Thank You!
I think ours is like a 2023 model because it looks so modern. On our pro stat there is a plastic piece of trim that hides the switches. What I want to know is what the modes mean D1 and D2 D1 can be set to 0.5 to 2.0 and d2 1.0-6.0 Ya unfortunately not all hvac technicians are electricians they just install it. When you take any appliance and take it out of the system then reconnect it you have to hit the breaker so it knows to turn on.
Would this work if we have a problem where it doesn't shut off when it reaches the set temp? (Set on 77 and room is 77 but still stays on) ALSO It's an old 2006 thermostat. We are testing your way now to see what happens and we are replacing it anyway.
Hello, I was wondering if you ever solved the issue with yr ac not shutting off? I’m having the same problem the ac tech cleaned the coils n added Freon but it still not shutting off when set temp is reached
Show my air conditioning seems not to throw out cold air and a change the temperature and change the filter and it seems like it’s throwing outside air into the house
Look how brave you are, touching the thermostat when Dad's not around to yell, "who touched the thermostat!?" Mine looks like yours, the cover snaps off to reveal a little reset button on the circuit board, that works real good for me when the system coughs up a hairball. A neighbor has an even simpler thermostat, he just digs his fingernail onto the the top of on e of the AA batteries and pushes it away from the terminal a few seconds and heavenly harp music plays as everything goes back to normal. Normally and simple, who could ask for anything more? "God bless us each and every one!" Tiny Tim
My low battery indicator is always flashing. Even when I replace the batteries. And my heater resets the target temp to 55° constantly. This unit was new when we bought the house and it's getting annoying. Not sure if I should buy the same unit again or switch it up to a smart t-stat

You are a life saver!!! Thank you so much for this video. I would NEVER have thought of going to the circuit breakers.

Has nothing to do with "women". Information is the power.
Thank you so much. This short video was VERY helpful
Yep that it, power cycled the unit and it started working again, thank you.
Very direct and straight to the point
Thank you! My thermostat just needed a reset.
You just saved me a call to the HVAC guy! 🥰
A literal lifesaver!!! God Bless!
Worked like a charm. Thank you!
to override program press both temperature controls (red arrow and blue arrow)at the same time for 5 seconds.
Does it have to be On Or Off when Pressing Both Arrow buttons?
Thank you! I needed this!

You might be a lifesaver, I’ll edit in 7 minutes if it works or not.
Did it work?
Your video helped me right now

Thank you so much! Life saver!

Awesome, thank you so much for your video...
Does the thermostat ever technically turn off during this process or is the screen still showing the temperature and time?!
Mine still shows the temperature even after I turned off the breaker smh lol

What if you can’t find the AC
I’m looking at my I don’t see it it’s written anywhere
What if there’s no AC or air on breaker?
Where do you change the batteries in this type?
My buttons are not working. Ac stuck on 44 any ideas ?
How do I set it at 62 it won’t let me lower from 70?
Thank you !!!!
How do I get my light to go off on mine mine started to flash on and off at 2am this morning I changed my batteries but the light is still on ?

I thought you were going to show step by step on setting the thermostat. This was misleading.
I like your self rule
What thermostat is this?
T705
Woman smarter than guys on thermostat video.
thanks
Pretty good easy
Switches back on in 10 seconds
cant hear
This is why people who don't have a clue shouldn't make videos
Didn’t help at all.
Thanks
