I think my favorite thing about this show's fanbase is that while everyone agrees Komi is top tier waifu, they also all agree that only Chadano is worthy to be with her.

After some negative comments on MAL I was genuinely really shocked at the character growth and their relationship growth during this season. Think some people just enjoy being negative.
My favorite part about the anime ironically is how Tadano is very plain and would be easily ignored by others. This makes his actions and how he's treated by half to more than half of the characters more interesting since its the polar opposite for Komi. It even enhances Komi's feelings fore him in the end, you actually see why she would be interested in him.
Im far into the manga RN and for anyone wondering it’s rlly good. All imma say is as time goes on some real “stakes” or “tension” is added. Even got chills from a scene or two. It changes in a very interesting way that really got me hooked.
These videos deserve more views. The way you appreciate all of the effort that’s put into making anime like this enjoyable and faithful to the source material shows not just your keen eye for quality content, but also your taste in quality anime that not everybody will appreciate. Keep up the great work and looking forward to what comes next

If you look at one single character in the ED for the whole thing, you can easily see their personality all throughout it Also, the dubs of this anime (especially the Lathi American one) are hilarious, people should check them out
Every single time I see Komi do basically anything, I always just find myself saying "She's too precious." Tadano is a really lucky guy." or "Bless her heart/soul." she is just too cute for everybody around her.
We all love your work man, but if it ever comes to a point where YT algorithm is not doing it's job and hurting your income, I don't think there is a fan here that wouldn't understand you taking it slower with the channel and trying to find other sources of income. Having to provide for an amazing family that has lovely doggos as well must be tough, but with your dedication and profesionalism there is nothing you can't do!

Honestly my favorite part of this season was how they constantly used the song from the chalkboard scene in different, unique, ways all throughout the season. Definitely added to the scenes it was used in.

Love this show. I understand the manga has gotten the class into its third year now. So at the rate of two seasons(two years) per class year, the show can go on at least four more years, which does have me excited to see more.

Komi-San, both seasons, hit me hard with the author, and studio, doing such an insanely delightful job of showcasing the tribulations of a couple of kind, hopeful, in need kids, just trying to figure it all out, while finding someone who clearly makes the effort mean so much more. I shed more than a couple of tears at the beautifully rendered moments of revelation and love and friendship that permeate this series. I'm a sucker for the characters who deserve a win getting one with undeniably sincere heart and soul. Great work, AW. Please continue doing what you love. I love it, too.

Both the Manga & Anime are great! Komi shows how Empathy and Patience can go a long ways in developing connections. The show portrays the Inner Emotions of so many individual characters! Great Analysis 👍

It was one of the reasons I went into architecture and then I went into teaching because I had to share my love with the younger generation. I’m gonna get a bit personal here with you guys, but this has been a very tough year for me. I am going to need a liver transplant, and while they were doing the work up to see where I fit on the list (Currently a MELD score of 12, which basically means that I’m very, very low on the list) they discovered that I have cancer as well. Luckily enough, the cancer was caught early and it is also in my liver. So they tell me because of the cancer my MELD score will jump up to a 27, which makes me competitive for a transplant. These videos have been a lifeline for me and have constantly kept my spirits up when I start feeling down… I can’t tell you just how much they have meant to me! So, if you guys feel the same as I do about our boi here, send him a buck or two! Keep him a float and show him some love!! His videos are definitely worth it! True Story: I just checked your channel an hour ago to see if you've done Komi Season 2 and I saw nothing, accidentally subscribed to you, check out my subscription box an hour later (right now) to see the video I've been waiting for conveniently in my subscriptions. (Also I haven't subscribed because I don't watch much anime but I watch all your videos on the few anime I've watched also do FMAB)
While I still love the series, a big reason people have started disliking has to do with later on in the manga where progression seems to crawl to a standstill. There's gonna be some spoilers here. So, shortly after chapter 300 Komi and Tadano become an official couple, which is pretty great. However, after that they have almost no actual progression further, and we're almost at chapter 400. Although I have to say, it does seem faster if you're binging the manga, (or watching the anime), rather than reading the manga weekly.
Warning to anime only people, there is a bunch of spoilers below: Yeah I just got caught up with the series so their relationship still feels fresh and new to me. I see how you could feel that way as a weekly reader though because it's seems like the series has just become an assortment of funny and wholesome moments strung together with little bearing on the actual story. And the chapters are very short too. I like that the relationship is a slow burn and is progressing slowly but I hope it stops being the primary focus soon. The original point of the series was to show someone overcoming their social anxiety but putting a big emphasis on the romance kind of detracts from that. I mean Komi is still learning how to be in a relationship which I guess you could say is teaching her how to deal with her poor communication skills. But at this point Tadano is the person she is most comfortable with so it is the easiest character development she can get at this point. It wouldn't be a huge deal if the side stuff happening actually furthered the development of the main characters in some way but it feels like Komi's goal of making more friends has sort of come to a stand still and random stuff is just happening. I think the main cause of this is that there are just so many characters now. The idea of making 100 friends is a good premise on paper but you can see how it is starting to make the cast of characters bloated and it is probably impossible to have that many close friends at any given time, even in real life. It's hard to care for a lot of the new characters at this point when the author doesn't want to drop the focus on some of the other supporting characters and insists on showing us random stuff like the nerf war arc, the among us arc, the study competition in the library, the beauty competitions, the family events, the regular boys and girls meetings and other stuff. (There is definitely some stuff I would leave in such as the stuff with Komi's family, that's comedy gold.)The fun factor of this is a very much a hit or miss for me and most of it doesn't actually feel important to the story. At this point though I don't really know what new directions the author can go as Komi is in her final year of high school and she is almost a quarter of the way there to reaching her goal. This makes me think the story is probably going to end soon. Like maybe in a year or two. Once Komi and Tadano's relationship has run it's course, as in they've reached a pretty static stage in their relationship, I think people will start to get bored and the author will have a difficult time introducing more unique characters and social situations to challenge Komi. The one thing that kind of shows some promise to me is the idea of Komi becoming a more assertive person that can deal with people she can't get along with. This has already been covered a little but I'm curious to see how the new rivalry between her and the new girl that likes Tadano goes. We've seen her get along with everyone she meets so it would be interesting to see her interact with people she doesn't like for once. Another idea that I don't want or think will happen is Komi eventually breaking up with Tadano and learning to live without the person that helped her finally communicate with people. That would probably be too painful for a lighthearted series like this but if done right could be a big step in increasing Komi's independence as a character.
also something i am disappointed hasnt been brought up yet: every. single. character's name is a pun or a downright description of their character. Hitohito Tadano literally means average guy and he's always average on everything. (3/5, perfect average score, etc). pay attention and even throughout the vid when a voice over describes a character, like at 32:54, you hear satou amou be called 'amai' as in helpful.

Another idea that I don't want or think will happen is Komi eventually breaking up with Tadano and learning to live without the person that helped her finally communicate with people. That would probably be too painful for a lighthearted series like this but if done right could be a big step in increasing Komi's independence as a character.
What ever the record for max win is. I am sure that when we finally get to season three of Welcome to Demon School Iruma-Kun.

also something i am disappointed hasnt been brought up yet: every. single. character's name is a pun or a downright description of their character. Hitohito Tadano literally means average guy and he's always average on everything. (3/5, perfect average score, etc). pay attention and even throughout the vid when a voice over describes a character, like at 32:54, you hear satou amou be called 'amai' as in helpful.
