Came upon you by accident and am I glad I found you. Just love this card. So awesome and in time for the Spring season. Thanks so very much for sharing your experience with us. ✂️❤️✂️
Cathy, you could have put a piece of white card over the colors on your pallet and you would have another card. That would be 2 for the price of one.😉 Love the colors!!
Cathy, I enjoy your video's so much 🥰🥰🥰... You have an adorable personality and your REAL... And I love how you show real card making ...and you show your process which is great 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻You are truly a treasure and thank you for all you do for our card making community 😱😱😱 p.s. love that card 😍😍😍
Love this card, simple but beautiful. Also I appreciate the design tips and knowledge that you pass along. You are a great teacher! See you next time in the craft room 👉
I sent hubby out the door today and wanted to watch this today. I think I have some other SSS intricate dies to do this with. It will be nice to actually make some cards today-keeping it very simple and try to get a few ready for whatever that next needed card will be.
I sat at my desk yesterday for 3 hrs shuffling card, dies & stamps around and eventually came up with an idea. Thanks for the inspiration 👍🏽🙋🏽♀️ Oooh, that plate holder was a great idea, I’m in the UK but I’ll be stealing that idea, thanks.
One of my goals this weekend is to make a set of thank you cards for my sister-in-law to use; her darling husband passed away last week very unexpectedly and so many people have been so supportive for her and our nephew; a few special cards will definitely be handy for her (when there's so little else I can do 😢) Thank you for the perfect inspiration!
No, unfortunately! I don't travel and teach any more. Did that in the mid 2000s, and almost had panic attacks every time. I know it seems odd, but I get way too nervous for in person teaching. : ) I can do live on UA-cam, but not in person stuff.
Love the card Cathy! The floral die is so delicate and the watercolor background effect is wonderful. I’m so in love with the colors of the new stamp pads. When I get done with surgeries on my foot and can start making some money again, I want to start buying some of those inks. OR, going to have to start figuring out how to make some money “creating” so that I can. Just don’t think I can stand to wait till the end of the year. 🤣. Foot surgeries are the absolute worst! Working as a nurse shuts you down for months when dealing with foot issues. 🙄. Thanks for sharing another great and beautiful card!
Oh wow. Foot surgeries are the WORST! I had one once… and was completely unprepared for the recovery time. I couldn't drive for eight weeks. All for a bone spur type of thing on my big toe. Not fun! you have my sympathy!
I am really, really learning a lot from watching you. You are truly inspiring. I know I've said so before, and I apologize for the repetition, but it needs repeating. Thank you for doing what you do.
I’m back. Been gone a while. This is the most simple looking thing to do, but ya know I really struggle watercolor techniques. I can do this one, but ink smooshing? Forget it! And painting a floral or something? Ha! Now truth be told I’ve only watercolored a floral bouquet once, but it was too saturated and lost the whole look of the light wash of color. And I cannot figure out the ink smooshing thing. I honestly think you need to be more relaxed about it and I’m not and I’m not a slow enough cardmaker. I always feel under the hun. So you make the watercolor with ink seem so effortless, but I just try too hard and can’t get it! I’m definitely OCD and going back over it too many times trying to get it just right just isn’t the thing that’s so pretty about watercoloring. You are a pro at this technique. Like I never think to do it or even to die cut from it! I’m working on stenciling now and was playing with paints the other day so I’ll get back around and work on it. Too little time does not a good cardmaker make! Lol
Great simply beautiful card You have inspired me to try some messy watercolor backgrounds soon! Thank you for sharing this video. I am learning so much from you.
Kathy, WOW, I love this. Just now trying to get into this "wash look". Thank you for demoing the Simon Says micro dots too because I just received mine in the mail. Can't wait to get to play now.
I just received my simon 3d foam squares & I ordered your chunky trees & holly, got this today too! Cant wait to try my stuff out. Thanks for the card today!
Been stuck or in a rut. Like this idea, could do alot of different ways. I have watercolors and haven't used. I like using spray inks and other products. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to get to doing this.
I really like those large plastic envelopes you used to store the sticky dot adhesive sheets, wear is it from? I’m having a day with no motto to create, so I’m gonna get to painting back grounds like you have suggested, hopefully my 2 cats won’t get in the way.
It's this thing: Tonic Magnetic Crafter's Platform --- ldli.co/e/2631e09 But the holders are a separate product, that's out of stock right now. You cut it to whatever size you like: Tonic Grip Mat --- ldli.co/e/5y49eok They say it's coming back soon. Very popular product!
I love this! And I love your idea to burnish the diecut on the Micro dots. There's always something new to learn
Thank you for the great idea, your card is lovely. I was giggling at your 'boop' when setting the bling.
Came upon you by accident and am I glad I found you. Just love this card. So awesome and in time for the Spring season. Thanks so very much for sharing your experience with us.

Cathy, you could have put a piece of white card over the colors on your pallet and you would have another card. That would be 2 for the price of one.😉 Love the colors!!

Just beautiful. Could you tell me where you bought your tools for working with your cut outs. I like the look of them and they seem to function well.
Hey Rhonda! I have all the supplies in the description box that goes with this video! Have a peek.
Question ... why do you put the sentiment ON the die cut?
LOVE the colors!
Because i love the way it looks as a whole element on the card design!
I really like those large plastic envelopes you used to store the sticky dot adhesive sheets, wear is it from? I’m having a day with no motto to create, so I’m gonna get to painting back grounds like you have suggested, hopefully my 2 cats won’t get in the way.
They are all from Simon Says Stamp! I forgot to link: SSS Cardstock Sleeves

Love the card! What did you place it on? A sort of metal plate with two holders?
It's this thing: Tonic Magnetic Crafter's Platform
--- ldli.co/e/2631e09
But the holders are a separate product, that's out of stock right now. You cut it to whatever size you like: Tonic Grip Mat
--- ldli.co/e/5y49eok
They say it's coming back soon. Very popular product!
Will the rotating plate also work on the larger Gemini machine. Thanks for another great video.
I don't know because I haven't tried it. I only have the Jr! so the footprint is perfect for that!
