I love this (the first) card! The way you used the pink accent strip on the inside bottom to decorate was a great idea! Thank you! Great ideas for all of them!
Thank you, Jackie - I am making the same card twice for my friend Jacqui and my Neice, Melanie who are both Christmas babies being born on the 19th and 23rd of December.
I watched many of your video's a few months ago, and enjoyed them so much I am back watching again. Thanks for the hard work, and great ideas you share. I really enjoyed this video, as I have so much DSP that I have not cut into. SNIP, SNIP. haha
Love these 'Starting with six 4"x6" (10x15 cms) pieces out of one sheet of 12"x12" (30x30cms) designer / speciality designer series / scrap booking paper! All I've got to do is convert the inches into centimeters for the more modern Brits and Europeans now! Eeks! ;) Being born in the early 60's I had to learn both Imperial and Metric measurements at school - weights, temperatures and distances too! I still prefer using pounds (lbs) and ounces (ozs) to kilograms and grams (when cooking and weighing babies/myself!) It's the same with miles and yards to kilometers and meters (when travelling and measuring anything over a yard!) I've just about got the inches to cms and cms to inches thing ~ 2.5 centimeters = 1 inch (2.5 cms = 1") Tfs Jackie - as always xx ~ C ~ uk
Love your cards. I would be careful, though, to make a hole inside on the mat. The way you punched it, it was a bit lower; I would've turn that to have the hole at the top where the sentiments would cover it. Otherwise when you write to that person the card was made for, you will bump in the hole and your writing will show it. TFS Nicole
When you go to sign inside that first card, doesn't your pen "catch" inside that cutout circle behind the white, and mess up what you're trying to write?
Love your video...sorry that I'm curious: are your ancesters from the Netherlands? ("Klompen", "Bolhuis")...my mother was born at the dutch border and some of her ancesters come from Holland...greetings from Germany, Monique :-)
I honestly don’t know as it depends on what cardstock and paper you are using and the size of the layers. My cards never require extra so the cards you see that I share are a good guideline.
Thank u for replying… that did help me.. also I kinda looked everywhere for the glue but couldn’t find it. I do have an old one but it’s almost out… I can’t remember where I got it..🤷🏻♀️
I love that these cards are simply made from paper, punches or dies, and a sentiment of your choice. Thanks, Jackie!
Love these cards for their speed to make a whole pack. Thanks for all your videos that you do.
Love, love, love these cards. I love easy and quick! Thanks Jackie.

Thank you so much, Jackie! I've been wondering how to use dsp cuz they are all so beautiful and i dont have a heart to use them carelessly. Luv ya!
Once again, love your cards! You are so creative!❤️💙💜💗
Inspirational! Really love these layouts and I can see myself using these layouts over and over again for every occasion. Thank you!
Very nice. I would tie ribbon around top layer before gluing it to the base so it doesn't show on inside.
Love these cards
Thanks so much!

Helpful video. What is the cutter that you use? Thanks!
Jackie Bolhuis Thank you. I will likely get into some trouble on this website! 🙂
Hi, Great video. What make of punch did you use for the hole please?
Jackie Bolhuis Hi, I meant the actual make as it looks much better than the flimsy circle cutter I’ve got.
Did you see my reply please?
Jackie Bolhuis Thank you.
What liquid adhesive do you use?
What is the name of that glue?
It's Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue
Where do you click to get the blog post?
The link to the blog post is always in the video description.
When you go to sign inside that first card, doesn't your pen "catch" inside that cutout circle behind the white, and mess up what you're trying to write?
No, I've never had an issue with that. When you use good quality, and thicker cardstock, you won't even notice the hole.

What is your email because I have question using the same dsp. What are the background colors to these cards and the 81/2 by 51/2 paper
Merry Christmas...I have a new Email....how do I change it so I can continue getting your site 😊
How many layers can I use while using a standard stamp?
I honestly don’t know as it depends on what cardstock and paper you are using and the size of the layers. My cards never require extra so the cards you see that I share are a good guideline.
How do u know it’s 5.5? There are two sides to the cutter… that’s what I don’t get?? Where do u measure from?
The blade line is at 0. So you take your cardstock and line the edge at 5.5" and cut. That will make your piece 5.5".
Thank u for replying… that did help me.. also I kinda looked everywhere for the glue but couldn’t find it. I do have an old one but it’s almost out… I can’t remember where I got it..🤷🏻♀️
