The really great thing about all the products is that the coats need to be fully dry. It makes it so easy not having to worry about windows.

Absolutely great videos, I let me uvls set up I set Alexa timer and than clear coat everything. No windows at all just make sure it’s completed and dry and just move in with the project. That black and white makes a hide difference great products as always

Ahhhh, I was wondering what happened to the gloss black after mine went solid in a sealed bottle(Createx replaced it) and I couldn't buy it from my supplier being told is was discontinued, I tried recreating it via Autoborne Sealer and UVLS Gloss but it didn't appear that great.
Really love these videos, I'll pay the little bit extra for createx just because of how well documented the application for various substrates are done now.

Hi, I build 1/14 scale semi Trucks and will be building one for my daughters birthday and ill be airbrushing it in your pearlescent megenta... I'd like it to really pop but kind of keep it's colour, would you recommend a black base coat or a silver/chrome..
    Thanks 👍

Apply Pearlescent Magenta over 6001 AutoBorne Sealer White, and top-coat with 4053 UVLS High Gloss. Thank you.

I'm working on a painting and I wanted a black background. I have just bought two large containers of gloss black and gloss white. So I wanted to try them out. May not have been the best decision, however I love the way it turned out, but since I did the background first then airbrushed the graphic/art (working on heavy cardstock) I have some slight overspray that's unslightly and I tried to remove it with a tack rag then tried to lightly clean it off with a mild cleaner. Not working to my satisfaction. So my question is, do I need to rough up the black to apply another coat, and once completed, I want to apply a UVLS clear over the entire thing (this is where as I stated the gloss black might not have been the best choice) or can I just apply a coat of gloss black then clear it without scuffing? I'm thinking I need to scuff it to get the coats to adhere. I'd just toss it, but I have many hours in the artwork and would like to save it if I can. I love the look of the gloss black and got great coverage and I also ordered the chrome and gold to try out as well, and this video by Chris is an excellent guide to using those. It's a learning experience for me for sure. Thanks for any suggestions you may have.

Generally, Createx paints can be applied over other Createx paints without scuffing required; sometimes its best to allow for extended curing time to ensure for adhesion when not scuffing. Thank you.

I have used QS Chrome several times, and I really like the “black chrome” look it has after the first coat. But it’s very difficult, if not impossible to get an even coat after just one coat. I guess you could mix it with something like Pearl black to kind of keep it darker as you add coats? Or does that ruin the chrome finish?

W357 Quicksilver must be applied in very light, even coats, and that does take a bit of finesse sometimes. We just made a new chrome for ChromaAir that is much easier to apply compared to Quicksilver with a better chrome-effect on the side-cast. You could try tinting the ChromaAir Aluminum with candy2o Black for a darker, chrome that is easy to apply. spraygunner.com/airbrush-paint/chromaair-paints/metallic/chromaair-metallic-paint-aluminum-super-fine/ Thank you.

Wicked Gloss black is extremely hard for me to paint. I don't know what it is but its impossible for me to get a clean even finish. I've tried no reduction all the way to 50/50 and it is just so inconsistent for me. I'm relatively new to airbrushing though. Any tips?

Its a TH1 head fitted onto the TH2, into which the PPS cup-head is a good, tight fit. Works well, thank you.

4011 and 4013. Is it the same I bought the 4013. But I see you use the 4011

    • @CreatexColors

4013 Reducer works same as 4011 reducer. If you're not working in a booth like we are, 4013 Reducer can help when airbrushing in higher humidity conditions, and more. 4011 vs 4013 comes down to subjective preference, each works well. Thank you.
