I had an issue with my gloss black, it took only one email and they took care of me. Their badass products and customer service got a customer for life! Now to play with the anodized look, great video guys keep it up.
Always great videos!! I've been using Createx products since the late 90's and love them.. You mentioned Tealicious, just wondering how that would look over a gold base, I'm looking to achieve a turquoise candy effect. Thanks for all your help with these videos!
Our candy2o color-chart video shows all candy2o colors over W350 Metallic Gold, along with other metallic bases. 4666 Tealiscous is 15:39 in, ua-cam.com/video/svPIxC1mUHE/v-deo.html. Thank you.
Thank you for the info great stuff. Just ordered some of the 4053 and had intended using it over a Candy2o paint job I just finished - I’ll hold off and pick the next paint job to work with the 4053. As a additional note, I paint mainly scale models with a .5 needle and found a great ratio of the 4050 to candy2o to be 4:1. Thanks again for the videos and info!
Please note, we're using a 2k gloss clear top-coat candy2o. While 4053 does leave a gloss coating over candy2o, it loses some of its gloss compared to top-coating for example, Wicked W357 Quicksilver, where 4053 is almost as glossy as a 2k gloss clear. Thank you.
@@CreatexColors yup, got that from the video - I will be using a 2k over the recent Candy2o job but still looking forward to using the 4053 on a future non-Candy2o paint job
Yes, apply 2 light coats of 5092, allowing at least 10 minutes re-coat and drying time (20 - 30 minutes after 2nd 5092 coat) before next applying Wicked Flair Colors. Thank you.
We did test 4040 Bleed Checker over candy2o before applying 4053, and still find that even that little bit of leaching at a sub-micron level takes a bit of the gloss away. 4053 works over candy2o to an extent, but its not as glossy as 4053 is over Wicked Colors, so we're stickling to a 2k gloss clear for the time being when top-coating candy2o. Thank you.
Ok...so I'm new to you channel. Are your paints/tips etc for automotive, model making, rc cars? Sorry if this is a lame question. Again, I'm new. P.S. great video 👍

You tried the bleed checker with the 4053? I'm gonna try it if you haven't...

Chris, how would you approach an anodized looking rose gold? I’ve been asked to see what I can come up with by a family member.
We made a video on how to do an anodized (billet) rose gold metallic 2 years ago, thanks. ua-cam.com/video/n6uaPN0u5t4/v-deo.html
