I have used this 38 mm tudor royal diamond watch for more than 1 year, running very accurately, the error is not more than 05 seconds for 02 months. It's elegant, easy to wear, and reasonably priced. I love Tudor watch.
I agree; I love my 38mm blue dial Royal. I originally went in to buy the 41mm for my 7.5" wrist, but I felt there was too much 'open space' on the 41mm dial; the 38mm was perfectly balanced. I think another underrated Tudor is the 1926; I bought the 41mm Opaline and Blue dial yesterday, and love it; the cushion dial is a beautiful detail making the 41mm wear very well
This is one of the best ever watches I've ever wore on my hand. Luxury at it's best and extremely premium materials and high quality. Bought this watch for 3,000 $ blue dial 41M. It worths much more money in my eyes and others' eyes.
Tried it today and it is. The bracelet is A quick take my money, the bezel is whats making me hold off. I might put diamonds on it to hide the bezel if I get it to hide the bezel details and to satisfy my craving for A diamond bezel on one of my watches. That said the character of the watch would be destroyed, but the bezel is that one thing slowing down my purchase. 🤔 No body tell my wife that im buying another watch, please and thank you. We aint going on vacation this year, I need some time to myself. Anybody see what I did there ? Il stop now 😔.
loved your video, i love your approach you sawed something you loved it and did not give up you kept on searching till you found what you needed, i would love to have the day complication though 🙆♂️
Great video I just have one question! Is the gold really solid or capped because I found this scrolling in the comments in another review: "The Black Bay S&G models have solid crowns, bezels and end links while links in the bracelet are capped. The 1926 and Royal lines do differ. The Royal bezels and bracelet links are capped while the crowns are plated which helps assist in keeping the cost more approachable. The 1926 models have solid end links with capped bracelet links and bezels, however the 28mm versions do have solid bezels." Thanks!
I also have a Tudor Royal 38mm black dial, the design of the watch is nothing to complain about. However, I wonder what level of movement this sellita platform's 26-jewel Tudor T601 is used in, hopefully top grade.
beautiful watch i am torn between the royal and the 36mm black bay that looks sort of like an explorer. but as for the drilled lugs on the royal is it the only way to remove the bracelet due to the integrated design.
May i ask you smth?they call this watch as a sport watch but it has very shiny look to it i can’t imagine this going with sporty dresses but can imagine it with very formal dress like tuxedo or blazer or long sleeve shirt😮what do you think?
This watch is hard to find indeed. Looks like Tudor is actively hiding their step child. The Roman numerals are a bit too much for me, as is the integrated bracelet with zero adjusts. The 1926 is equally kept in the back. Undeservedly as both make great entry level dress watches. Tudor is pushing it's in house movements atm so let's hope they get upgraded and not taken back behind the shed.
You have it at 4 links on the 12 o clock and the 7 links at 6 o clock then that clasp doesn’t lie down in the middle of tour wrist, doesn’t it feel off when worn?
It is hard to compare these two different watches. I would say that Tudor feels a bit larger because of the integrated case design but at the same time thinner and much more comfortable on the wrist.
@@Wild_Danimal I agree. I used to own Oysterquartz so I love the design and Tudor used to produce quartz watches. I would be jumping if they would make an Oysterquartz reissue :)
I have a Rolex Datejust 16013 36mm... it seems quite small after wearing some 40 and 42mm's...Will this 38mm Tudor appear bigger than my datejust due to it's overall case design? Thanks
I used to have a vintage Datejust if I remember the size correctly this Tudor Royal 38 would fit just slightly larger. If you want a bigger option you can go with their Day Date model in 41 mm.
@@OneManReviews one person said they saw the dial at an ad and was unimpressed because it looked cheap. They said it should have been priced at $2000 with the movement??? I suspect they saw it through plastic. Other people don’t like Roman numerals. Some people bagged the bezel. Some people don’t like the cut off date at 3. Other people bagged all the elements together. Go read some other watch channels comments on it if you are interested. Or don’t. I love all the elements on the watch and the date cut off date especially at 3. The dial is done immaculately in my opinion and the integrated bracelet and case wears so nice and feels premium. It’s my go to watch. Lots of these people probably don’t own a Tudor and collect micro brands or are not artistic in their view of watches and design.
@@ScoobyDJ. People always find something to hate. They may not be perfect but I love this watch very much and I think they are perfectly done. Especially for the price Tudor is asking.
@@OneManReviews indeed. Mostly stems from pain, ignorance or arrogance. I put mine under the magnifier lume I have last night in good light and the quality of the detail and finishing on the dial is astounding. In contrast to my Seiko spb143 which has lume applied unevenly, hands and markers that are rougher on the edges and the text print nowhere near matches the charm of the Tudor. Tudor is amazing. People don’t do these things and just spit hate.
@@ScoobyDJ. I also have Seiko SPB143. Would've been a very good watch if the quality control would be better and the movement would be keeping an accurate time. Also I have 3 Tudor watches and I think they are very, very good in terms of quality and design. Love them all.
Hi, is it possible for you to review their 34" model? And compare it to the 38"? My wrist is 6.4" and Im looking at the 34 more because I heard many people have to drill the bracelet to get the nice fit? How would you suggest do you think I would I have to drill to remove links in both 34 and 38 model?
It would be hard to get my hands on the 34mm version. My wrist size is 17cm and the 38mm version fits me well. Not sure why anyone would need to do any drilling.

Yes. I agree on the negative space on the 41mm version. 1926 is another great watch from Tudor. A classic model with 100m of water-resistance.

This is absolutely great model!
whats the accuracy?
I agree, best Tudor, most original, under rated!
Thanks, Christopher. Especially considering the price this is a very good watch in the Tudor catalogue.
Die blaue 38mm Variante ist mein Einstieg in die gehobene Uhrenwelt. Ein tolles Modell!
Love my Tudor Royal! I purchased the 34mm version and it is such a versatile watch! Great review all around!!
Thanks. I love their 34mm version as well. It’s great for a smaller wrist.
34mm is perfect for children and girls
@@thetruthhurts7500 Which one are you?
@@904SupremeDream Neither, I was just stating that's what that size is for...Now the question of course is..which one are you?
Your wrist measure? Mine is 6,3 inches. Just to know how 34 mm fits: is that too small for my wrist?
Beautiful watch!! The bracelet looks like the light play would be nice.

Good looking watch..I love the date version and size..perfect fit 41 mm dial to big...
Yes. I love this version better.
Ideal would be 38mm case with date+day complication, blue dial with classic lumed baton hour markers 👌
Agree :)
I got the Tudor Royal Day-Date 41mm, I love it!!!
That's an amazing watch.

Very good and accurate review

I like the silver dial way more
I have the steel and gold, black dial 38mm and I love it. I think the product photos don’t look good - all versions of the watch look great in person

I would suggest trying both if possible. BB 36mm is a great watch but I found it a bit too small for me. I guess you're right about the drilled lugs.

I have the 41mm Blue dial. I have 8in wrists so I cant pull over much below 40mm.
Great watch. For your wrist the 41mm is perfect I think.
Great watch but i hate that date window :/
I have that seiko alpinist, how this tudor size fits on the wrist? Smaller or larger than alpinist?!?

Thank you for great and informative video. My wrist size is 7.2 inches. I wonder if this will fit me well. Could you please tell us your wrist size?
Hi David. My wrist size is 17cm which is about 6.5 in. It might be too small for your wrist. But the 41 mm Day Date version could fit you great.
It's a great watch for little men and girls...
Скажите подойдут они на запястье 20 см?
Smooth bezel option please
On the Oyster bracelet and it would be a nice Oysterquartz :)
