It's amazing how there is a never ending variety of designs in jewelry. Thanks Rusty for sharing your finds with us. It's like browsing at a museum. Love it.
Rusty...this is a fabulous treasure trove! I love it when you show us individual pieces and share your thoughts on how you're going to repair and sell them. Thanks!
Hey Rusty - great video again. I think the small container that you have with the soldier may be a "Pyx" which is for holding the Eucharist and the soldier could be St George
Also, the brooch with the unidentified gentleman - it may be a "mourning brooch" depicting Sir John French during the Boer (African) Wars 🙂 He kinda looks like my great-grandpa 😃
22:15 to 22:45 ...... That looks like Bismark from Germany :) I think he was one of the last Holy Roman Empire/Monarcy rulers of Germany.......just shortly before Hitler......
Bonjour Rusty ☺️🇨🇦Very cool stuff in deed but the gold little container with the soldier is an hashtray ,look indice the nocotine stain and the side of it were it closes is were it sits ☺️ I had the same but in silver 🙂
Hi Rusty i love watching your videos. i think that belt buckle could be from a royal family as i live in Ireland and we are used to royal dress code but i would not know who it is it could be a king from the british royal family back in the late 1800s early 1900s also i think it may contain opal pieces all the best. Louise
Rusty love watching your u-tube and would like to know in watching you today at 11:35/36 you held up a single earring tat had 3 emerald cut earrings and rhinestones I would like to ask you if you would sell me 1 of those Emeralds to help me repair a bracelet that was my Moms I am not a reseller I make frames, crosses, and other Knick knacks out of vintage jewelry but this bracelet is one of mine thank you for your time Karen
Awesome haul! 👏👏❤ I'd say you could replace different color stones into a piece, as long as they are symmetrically placed and esthetically appropriate - for example in that wide bracelet missing a smokey topaz colored stone at each end 🙂
Rusty, I need help, I have a trifari necklace, I believe 60s or 70s but cañnot find anything on line. It is missing some of small pearls but I have them. I just want to know if there is any value.. I can send pictures if I need to send.
Question: I have a few pieces that I think are real turquoise but I'm not sure. I know I can rub with acetone but heard you mention looking through the loop. What are you looking for when looking through the loop? The veins? Trying my best to learn. Thanks :)
Rusty, you and I vintage alike! I'm a jewelry enthusiasts curator! When you said I don't know who this cat is had my laughing!😊

Apple/strawberry brooch marquise/marquis cut “Mar key” cut.
that gentleman on the beltbuckel looks like Otto von Bismark or the first German emperor
22:36 - This gentleman in grand uniform was a british general in the Victorian era, but I could not find which one. But British he was.
Love it Cousin!
Intaglio is what you call the opposite relief on the glass cameo
My favorite cousin!! 😂

Will you do a video on cleaning?
Pay attention to the direction of the cameo's face. Do some research on it Rusty/Peaches. Different directions = different prices and rarity...
🎉
Awesome 🎉🎉🎉 hello from Russia! Thank you 👍
Isn't the one straight pin an opal? It looked like it had some slight color to it when you moved it around....
I’d b interested in the turquoise/copper brac. How much please?

Do you sell things just for the gold weight if there is no match?

Love your videos !!! What do you use to measure stones ?
Could be King of Saxony 1885-1918
Pretty sure he's Friedrich August III last king of Saxony 1865-1932
Dude where you went informed in 1946
What happened to the 70s porn stash? 😭
The one piece black square with rhinestone in the middle looks like it was made of jet. Made in England. A morning piece.
I want the ten dollar pill box circle
Copper is having a big comeback right now
