4:15 Just want to point this out to anyone who hasn’t gotten here yet. While yes theoretically you would get 400 exp for that specific collectapedia quest for having ten of each item, but you’d more than like get about 250-300. The more you repeatably do these collectapedias, the amount you get for the rewards actually decreases. Just make sure to know that fellow players, hope everyone is enjoying the game as much as I am
- Legendary Enemies leave behind a tombstone that you can teleport to, pretty useful to set up fast travel waypoint at hard to reach places - Ether currents will be plenty and more than you'll ever need not too far down the road, don't sit on all that ether like I did, craft those gems as soon as you can
Quick save is also super useful if you're about to try something you probably shouldn't and want to save right before it but still want the option of reloading your save file to before that (saves a proper save file slot)
This game is amazing. If it wasn’t for all the work I have to do I’d have been further but only in the 2nd chapter. Can’t wait to get back to it later!!
Something that I didn't know until further into the game was that you can actually select who you want to attack with during a chain attack using the directional arrows so you can plan who should take their turn for maximum TP. I was very annoyed when I realized that auto-battle was selecting other characters out of what I thought was a turn order. Wish this was part of the tutorial when the first introduced it with big bold letters. xD
Agreed! Funny enough I just made a chain attack break down video and uploaded it like 50 minutes ago if your interested! It should be the latest video on the channel too🙏
@@summerycast7936 yeah this noob didnt pay attention to the tutorials. the very first thing i did when i did my first chain attack was swap the character lol. it literally tells you

5:05 On the materials collecting when you reach the desert/rocky zone there are about 3-4 of them. the other is a material krabble on the way to colony 9 (the water area with a cave of lvl 19-21 critters), just past the camp of the ouroboros stone. there is a special red circular (!) icon appears. These monsters will dig up 3 materials and sometimes will keep digging up as long as they have that icon. Side note, the images dont show up for the monsters. For nopon coins: you can earn them via ambush battles from choosing the side with the coin. You can also get Nopon Coins from amiibos. :) as well as various items and food.
Got this games yesterday been playing it on the oled and it's sick love it I loved number 2 which I think is amazing probably my favourite but this oled is amazing
Menu has a quick auto save, just in case. Also there’s a fun dodge button when you Right Stick click but it messes with camera so idk how to fix that its simply a dodge button plus left stick direction. So what you think about the game with more options than previous one. The class and gameplay it’s XC2 but also FFXII in a bit classic mmorpg autobattle thing.
I usually the dodge to just move position of the character faster. Like, moving Noah from side to the back. I have no idea if you can actually dodge attacks with it. Can you?
@@summerycast7936 it’s just meant for positioning faster to Back or Side Attack. I tried to dodge like I’m playing souls, still got hit. Maybe some can dodge but not AOE attacks.
The auto battle part has made it super boring in the very beginning and made me not want to continue. Should I just say fuck it asks keep going and way more will open up to me? I'm not fond of the KOTOR style autobattling, it's just too... Original Xbox?
This game is amazing. 10/10. Better than any Final Fantasy game I've played. Even tops Dragon Quest V and XI. Best RPG ever? It just might be. Incredible music, world design, monster design, character design, job/class system, interface, and my favorite combat system since Chrono Trigger. This game is a gift from the gods.
@@annibo4807 the first time i watch this gamw in yt, i said to myself it is too boring to play, but after trying to play it till chapter 2. im hook and 20 hours in gametime
This game is amazing like anybody who's just started if you think the game is cool wait till you get to chapter 3 I'm just saying chapter 3 the game opens up more but as you progress through this chapter 3 story which may take you a good 10 hours cuz it took me to get 10 hours I was exploring everything since the world finally opened up and it got even cooler I didn't think I could get cooler than what it was and it did they need to stop for real because I'm sitting at work wishing I was at home playing and I bring my switch with to work to me knowing that I won't have any down time to play but just in case it travels with me to work
Does anyone know if there are any other uses for the collectopedia items? I’ve been hoarding them in case I need them for something later like raising affinity between party members or some other mechanic I haven’t been introduced to yet.
ive used them to complete quest that require certain parts or the collectpedia cards to get affinity there or nopon coins as rewards, ive sold a few low tier items for money but ive done that like 4 or 5 times
lol yeah i forgot to put the edit in there lol, im currently working on more videos for this but i can tell you that you can see these shiny from really far they are bright like a blue beacon
@@SneakyxSlytherin I mean yeah some of the blue ones are unique for example I’ve seen these Little Rock guys that u have to hit the front or u bounce and they have a regular type, a shiny type, a blue and a gold but I’m not sure this rule applies to every monster in the game. However you won’t see a blue shiny or a red shiny, it’s always regular shiny
From the sounds of it, you aren't even half way through the game. But I do get the hand-holding sentiment since there are a lot of systems being introduced over time. It still gets aggravating. Prefer the option to skip and check the tutorial later in the system menu. That said, once you are far enough in the game, you won't get many or any at all tutorial popups.

I was saving them for the husks? and spending the rest on gems.
There is something called quick save.
Press [X] to open menu then press [Y] to quick save.
Can save you a shortcut spot for something else.
Quick save is also super useful if you're about to try something you probably shouldn't and want to save right before it but still want the option of reloading your save file to before that (saves a proper save file slot)
There is always a crunchy voice dialogue when you quick save and the quick save option disappears.
It's a small touch that I appreciated.
This game is amazing. If it wasn’t for all the work I have to do I’d have been further but only in the 2nd chapter. Can’t wait to get back to it later!!

Thanks. I can't wait to pick up the game after work.
Glad to help! I hope you enjoy it!
I picked it up before work lol
I found camp leveling to be somewhat of a trap. If your level is too high, ranking up classes will be slow.
in my experience you just have to find an elite boss around the same lvl as you and overkill it
Same, I stopped camp leveling around chapter 2 and now I have so much bonus exp I can jump from level 30 to 44 if I want to
@@intel_coar6844 same I can jump from 40 to 51 but that would break the game

Thanks, I didn't know you could map other shortcuts to ZL! I am definitely going to change the mapping.
For the love of all don't use your Nopon Coins on the cards
SAVE THEM FOR THE Nopon Merchant
what items do like besides the revive all?
I really have to add to this... Nopon coins are very difficult to get, DO NOT WASTE THEM EARLY ON!
@@blacklead0 I would also add use your sliver coins on upgrading classes only when you get to 99
You can also push the left stick while walking to keep walking without moving the left stick. It spares the shitty joycons.

It seems you haven’t played SMT 3 Nocturne, or SMT IV. Or any Atlus JRPG whatsoever if you think this game is the best RPG of all time.
@@raymilbelmont2521 SMT 3 and 4 rule as does Atlus. Still love this game more.
Speaking of Chrono Trigger. Didn't Monolith worked on one of those games.

Tips, dont over level bacause you'll gain IRL buff where you become an A-hole that tells every one that the game is too easy.
As a nearly 30 year old RPG player, I just can't break the habit of grinding. I'm sorry. Blame it on FF.

Best game of this year nothing else compares!
I really like your guide
At 5:15 you never put up a rare shiny vs a regular shiny.
When you talking about the 2 kinds of shiny your showing the collectopaedia cards. You never show the two types of shiny.
Did you know that if you pass - during the battle, the game does the fighting for you?
The only time it doesn't work is on boss battles.
The shortcuts. The shortcuts. Wow. The shortcuts.
Didn't see the rare shinies... I think you forgot to edit them in.
Does anyone know if there are any other uses for the collectopedia items? I’ve been hoarding them in case I need them for something later like raising affinity between party members or some other mechanic I haven’t been introduced to yet.

Can you make a video showing the items from the dlc?
They did this because in XC2 they were spamming you with tutorial
Wait, u never showed the rare luckys
Know-pon = nopon.... thx for the video
Its actually "Nah-pon"
Who is "guest" in the menu?
Don't waste Nopon Coins!
u SAID u put the rare shiny on screen, NO U DID NOT!! it still had menu up, FIX THIS, i want to see it

save is a little unnecessary if you die nothing happens.atleast thats what I've been Les to believe
Yeah. Only downside would be it teleports you back to the last waypoint. So make sure you've discovered one close by.
I'd save, even if it's just a quick save, cause the areas are so massive while skip-travel points are spaced pretty far out. My god I wish we can run!
