Just stumbled across your video and it is an intriguing machine. I saw one at the dealer the other day a 2014 with 6500 hundred miles for 9k to me that seemed high. The cost of service is ridiculous but you can offset that.

Just wandering if you brought a motorcycle

@@mars4508 of hand I saw that video some time ago. I have bought a new 2019 ultra limited in 2019 and in August of 2022 in bought a second bike a 2007 FJR 1300. I believe if I remember correctly I was considering a ctx1300 until I came across the Yamaha. Basically I have a cruiser and a sport bike now.

Yes I still have my ctx1300, I decided to try to sell it in May. If I don't a good offer. I will trade it in at the dealership. Valkyrie is a nice bike

Sir, if you don't want to do this, i totally understand. However, there are some things like changing the oil, changing the air filter that you can pull up on the internet. Then there is stuff about the Honda CTX 1300 that is a deal breaker for me. Adjusting valves. I have a Moto Guzzi 1400 Eldorado and selected this bike because it is serviceable by most owners. My valves for example have screw and lock adjusters. So easy to do. Your Honda has shim under bucket. Translation. When your valves need adjusting, you end up having to take out the cams to get to the shims. It can be done, but WHY would anyone want to do this unnecessary extra work over a screw and lock adjuster or better yet , hydraulic valves?

I’m jealous your head are out in the open . On my Honda pcx150 I got to spend 45 minutes to take off all the body work to do a 15 minute job and then another 45 minutes to put it back together. And Honda wants me to do it every 2500 miles .

@@paulstanley3265 Paul. I tell everyone that stops by me and ask about the motorcycle. It's the maintenance and up keep that gets costly

It's an 8k mile service...big service at 16k..with shim adjust....your bars are set too high....mirror's become useless...also massive shock..thru bars as you've altered steering geometry...bars should be almost on tank but able to clear...be careful when you adjust....check rear shocks are set to 5....usually set to 1...hardest...spanner in left side pannier...hidden..
