One of my all time favorite George Strait songs! (written by Sonny Throckmorton and Casey Kelly) Thanks Farm Daddy and Don.
Ronnie Dunn has one of the best voices i have ever heard. He done George proud.
I love Ronnie Dunn's voice. He could sing the phone book and make it sound great. Their version of this is so good.
Couldnt aggree more! I was worried0at first just because well its king george and hard to do him justice covering a song of his especially one so well known but WOW
There will never be another George Strait. He has over 60 #1 hits. That's more than Elvis, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, or anyone else you can think of. And from what I know and have heard, he is a really decent guy. As we say in the South, he's a good ole boy!
" Its Getting Better All The Time " Brooks and Dunn
Great reaction as usual Don! Brooks and Dun have always been my favorite duo and they for sure did king George justice here. Hearing your divorce story broke my heart though i just wantted to reach through my screen and hug you. But heres a virtual hug
@twilightbarnes1961 Thanks for the kind words and compassion!! I'm fine now, as the divorce was fifteen years ago, and when songs like this come up I'm able to relate and help others make sense of it in a different way, I suppose. In any case, thanks for the virtual hug!
I am fairly new to comenting but love your channel and am always excited to see a new post. And of course i will always keep rockin to country! By the way i noticed you like to use your subscribers names my name is kelly keep doing the amazing job you do!
Thanks Farm Daddy sorry to hear you been going some health issues glad your doing better thanks for requesting this song love the song but had forgotten about it . Awesome song . Awesome reaction Don .
Thank You Penny. I have changed your name to “Penny From ‘Minnesota’ Hedlund”…lol !!!
If I'm correct, George ended most of his concert appearances with this one.
Yes he did which makes george telling them dont mess it up even funnier in my opinion. It was his signature goodnight if you will
That’s true he does. I have been to many George Strait concerts and when this song comes on your like no because you don’t want the concert to end.
A great request and a great reaction Don, I agree all the way with that that's a great song, and they listened to George, they didn't screw it up that was great redition of that song, man I loved it. Hey Don, I would like to request a song by Randy Travis, I know you haven't REACTED to, it's called "THE WAY HE IS " he sang this song in the western about Jesse James, it's sounds great please give it a try. Thanks
well now you have to react to George Strait covering Brooks & Dunn, "Boot Scootin Boogie" at their tribute show, seems only fair lol
Fun fact about this song i neglected to mention prior Don. Thiswas the song George would close out his concerts with
George strait actually wrote the song
No he didn’t. George doesn’t write any of his songs. Exactly why I don’t give him as much credit as everyone else
No it was written by Sonny Throckmorton and Casey Kelly.
@@sandraturner4539 that is correct
no he didnt, George wrote a bit in his early days and towards the end, but in between everyone was bringing him their songs to record because they knew he had the best chance of making it a hit, one of many reasons why he's the King
@@Dirtybird51077 George has written or co-written some of his hits such as "I Can't See Texas From Here", "Drinking Man", "Here For A Good Time" and quite a few others.
I hate to a y it but I think they did it better. Just my opinion
