Any song from George Strait is an awesome song. Even with all the changes to country music he has stayed true to what he is: a true LEGEND to COUNTRY MUSIC.
You were correct. King George has 60 number ones. His music is legend & he was also a champion rodeo rider, as well as being known as one of the nicest guys in the biz. ZERO drama other than losing his daughter to a car accident. A true gentleman.
We played this at Dad's funeral in 2015. It was the final song and played during a video montage of pics of Dad riding his horses. Giving grandbabies & great-grandbabies their first ride. Lots of him on a horse or in the wagon on trailrides. The last pic at the end of the song & video was a pic of Dad riding away as he looked back over his shoulder and waved at someone. 😭
Definitely do Fireman for something upbeat. That first song on that album there, Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind, is a wonderful wonderful song. Amarillo by Morning is probably one of his most beloved songs. Am I Blue? is some of the best fast tight swing you will ever hear. So fun to dance to. Another really really fun upbeat one is Adalida, about a Cajun Queen. All My Exes Live in Texas is probably his most famous song.
My favorites from King George are So Much Like My Dad; I Cross My Heart; You Look So Good In Love; Love Without End, Amen; Carrying Your Love With Me; The Cowboy Rides Away; What’s Going On In Your World; Today My World Slipped Away; When Did You Stop Loving Me; I’d Like To Have That One Back; The Best Day; and I Know She Still Loves Me.
He is fantastic and a Legend. I have seen him in concert several times and he is fabulous. He is every songs best friend, no doubt. I love how you bring an honest review to all types of music.
I love “Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind”. However if your looking for an upbeat song try “Take me to Texas”, “Ocean Front Property”, or “All My Exes Live in Texas”
My youngest daughter and I have seen and met George Strait several times and he is such a nice person! The last time my daughter (a huge fan of George Strait) and I saw him was in Texas. For his final concert (retiring), he closed with this song, and there were many people (us included) with tears in our eyes. After the show, (we were right by the stage), one of the band members gave my daughter a guitar pick, which she still has among her George Strait collection (a guitar signed by Mr. Strait is her most prized treasure). Thank you for reacting to this song, and, yes, tears were forming in the eyes.
When I was in college in the early 80's, when he first came out as The Ace In a Hole band, I couldn't wait for him to come play the bars in Huntsville, Bryan and college Station, Texas. I was hooked then but then he came back to Huntsville as George Strait and the ace in a hole band, man i was amazed!!! I'm so glad you are reacting to his music...you are right he don't miss!!!
He has way too many fantastic songs to even count. I have so many favorites but one of my top ones is “Love without end, amen”. My dad & I used to listen to that & he’d sing it to me when I was younger, about daddies loving their children. he passed last October and I put that on his tombstone “A Love Without End, Amen” You can’t go wrong with any of his songs
Love me some King George..as far as who this is about.. no clue... George didn't write his music.. just like Elvis didn't write his.. but they sang the songs with so much passion... you fell in love... Toby , Alan and Dolly off the top of my head.. wrote their songs.. and loved them too. I think it's all in the delivery of the song how we accept it and love it.Good music cannot be denied.. and King George. or Uncle Georgie.. I'm down with it.

That's right the name of the album was "DOES FORT WORTH EVER CROSS YOUR MIND" a very good album at that but it is George Strait, so you'd expect it to be good.
If you like these George Strait songs, you should also do Chris LeDoux. He has the same vibes, and he’s a genuine country singer. And he’s really a cowboy- he even rode in the NFR.
You know For man loves women, it's a little bit a little bit on the trashy try. She said I know I do, I'm guilty. There's actually a song by the Confederate railroad called trashy women. By Confederate railroad, the video oh, come on, that video is excelleit's so anti accidentally the video Confederate railroad doing try. She women look a wide screen up on her.
I know the name sounds funny but these guys here can rarely rarely sing Kentucky head honors. I do a song called walk, walk softly, walk softly by the Kentucky head. Honors those Kentucky, and you appreciate. When a woman walks softly, you're, too, uh, walks softly back.
Its 74.....yes thats INSANE. 74 #1s! I'll get a little push back on this but I honestly think that Brad Paisley will beat that record by the time he is George Strait's age.
Any song from George Strait is an awesome song. Even with all the changes to country music he has stayed true to what he is: a true LEGEND to COUNTRY MUSIC.
Just seen him live with Chris Stapleton Saturday in Tampa, it was one of the greatest experiences of my life!!!!!
You were correct. King George has 60 number ones. His music is legend & he was also a champion rodeo rider, as well as being known as one of the nicest guys in the biz. ZERO drama other than losing his daughter to a car accident. A true gentleman.
his music is timeless
The Fireman is pretty up tempo. I think you’d like it too, George is telling ya all about his smooth ways in it. 🤠👍🏻
Yeah, LOTS of innuendo.
I'm so sorry for your loss, that sounds like a beautiful tribute to your dad
This has to be one of my favorite songs. ❤
Just through a dart at his catalog of songs wherever it lands it’s a hit
His song RUN is awesome!!
Definitely do Fireman for something upbeat. That first song on that album there, Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind, is a wonderful wonderful song.

George Strait’s greatest song.

George Strait is the King!❤
Gotta do The Fireman no doubt
FR

Definitely but do the audio version for sure.
You are right if George is singing it’s good! Check out all of them
You should listen to Troubadour. The definition is singer/poet. The song was later in his career and it was great.
Every song, King George!!!!!❤️
He is fantastic and a Legend. I have seen him in concert several times and he is fabulous. He is every songs best friend, no doubt. I love how you bring an honest review to all types of music.
You need to do a K.T. Oslin song!! She was amazing!
Songs:
Hold Me
Jealous
Come Next Monday
Mary & Willie
I love “Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind”. However if your looking for an upbeat song try “Take me to Texas”, “Ocean Front Property”, or “All My Exes Live in Texas”
George is called the King for good reason.
George’s voice is nothing special, but the way he holds a note is perfection. This song is a masterpiece.
My youngest daughter and I have seen and met George Strait several times and he is such a nice person! The last time my daughter (a huge fan of George Strait) and I saw him was in Texas. Any thing by George Strait you listen to you will enjoy

Do The Fireman great song and up tempo
He sang Cowboy Rides Away for his last song at his concerts. Life-changing.
George has more number one hits than ANY artist in history. He has 60 number one hits.
If you want up tempo listen to Unwound, one of his early hits!
There's a type of man that just leaves when he doesn't feel welcome. That's what the song is about.
He has way too many fantastic songs to even count. I have so many favorites but one of my top ones is “Love without end, amen”. I copied this list from another website called outsider. Just in case.
He also has many other songs that could easily have been Number 1s - Amarillo by Morning, for example.
For a great uptempo from George, The fireman or Love bug will be the ones you will love
Love my Texas man ❤❤❤. Btw love you AB ❤
Cowboys Like Us should be next
That fiddle!

'The Fireman' is up-tempo & is very fun. LOL Another cute one is 'Check yes or no' for lighter stuff.
"The Fireman" and "Texas Cookin" are two good, up-tempo songs.

King George ❤
Seen him 3 times! First time I was in a halo broke my neck 10 day before the concert!
High tempo, Lovebug! Don't make me come over there and love you is another good one.
Upbeat. Clear Blue Sky
Also if you want to hear up tempo by George Strait, try "THEY CALL ME THE FIREMAN" George, with a little kick to it!
That's right the name of the album was "DOES FORT WORTH EVER CROSS YOUR MIND" a very good album at that but it is George Strait, so you'd expect it to be good.
Fireman is an upbeat song

Listen to brooks and Dunne tribute to George singing this.
You want upbeat, check out The Fireman if you haven’t already.
Please react to The Fireman if you haven't already. It is one of my favorites! Such a great song, and it's hilarious!!
Slow dance time...😊
you should react to the title track of that album
It's a deep cut, "overnight male" off his Pure Country soundtrack. Very Up Tempo
Does Ft. Worth Ever Cross Your Mind is worth the reaction too.
Hes not a bad golfer either. I've had the chance to play 18 hole a few times. His cart always had Johnny Cash or Merle Haggard playing.
You should do his song "love without end"
I forgot to say... George is a Texas boy... and he is a Cowboy.
Might have already said this,,,, not Uncle George…. King George Strait.
🤠🔥🤠
You got that right for sure? It's the music. I mean, george doesn't act so I can't say
Sure remember Thursday, remember swinging swinging in the front porch with Charlotte swinging, especially with charlotte, she's like. To apple on my
