So an ex of mine, we shared a Spotify account. She wasn’t that into green day but I’m a huge fan. So anyways the first time we broke up I went onto Spotify and seen she was listening to this song!! So I messaged her saying, “I don’t want to say goodbye.” And we got back together. This was a couple years ago, so we’ve broken up again and stayed broken up since. But this song always makes me think of her.

He is a really nice guy too. I met him in April when he signed my bass at a meet and greet. He asked me where I want it signed and I said "Anywhere, well, on the front, I'm not gonna play it." (I meant that bass in particular, I still play) He said "You gotta keep playing man!" To hear your FAVORITE bassist tell you to keep playing, even when you weren't even going to give up, is the best feeling. Definitely a class act guy. So many rock stars are jerks in person, but Mike is a great guy :)

2 years ago I was watching green day music videos and I thought I really wanna get into music and now here I am playing in my friends band. So far I only learned how to play guitar and a little bit of drums.
I will always thank green day for inspiring me to get into music. I wouldn't be who I am today without them.

One of the most underrated songs ever in punk-rock.
I was lucky enough to see them play around 1990. But I have to say that BJA has gone from a songwriter who sings his own songs, to a fantastic SINGER/songwriter. His voice sounds tuned!

The drummer might have been John Kiffmeyer ('Al Sobrante') from GD's earlier years. They're lucky to have started so young; they got to build a life and an identity doing something they love; most of the world's human beings (including some rather wealthy ones) will never get to experience that. As a young fan, you were a part of that. Peace :)
It's also because they didn't know how to sing :) It's almost universal that when starting out, guys always sing flat and girls always sing too sharp. It can take a fair amount of practice to carry a tune.

Despite what everyone says about the trilogy, this is genuinely one of the best modern GD songs ever released, so catchy, punk, fresh, romantic and a little rebel, just like GD itself.

WTF!? 37 tracks that exceed the creative output of most bands entire careers. They are masters and damn I'm happy every day I listen to Green Day!

¡Dos! is a great album, almost the sequel of Foxboro Hot Tubs "Stop Drop and Roll". ¡Uno! and ¡Tré! are good álbuns too.
I needed a second listen to finally recognize the trilogy as good entries in their catalog.

The problem here is that the albums don't match up to their predecessors. It sounds too pop, it doesn't sound like "green day". Also, the lyrics aren't as meaningful as their predecessors too, but it's still good in my opinion, but not a masterpiece.
