Lyrics:
If you could only read my mind
You would know that things between us
Ain't right
I know your arms are open wide
But you're a little on the straight side
I can't lie
Your one vice
Is you're too nice
Come around now can't you see
I want you
All tattooed
I want you bad
Complete me
Mistreat me
Want you to be bad
Dude. Being a teenager in late 90s and early 2000d was the best:
- CrazyTaxy, Tony Hawk Pro Skater2 & Jet Set Radio.
- American Pie Movies.
- The Offspring, Blink 182, and Sum41.
And green day!
Sum 41 is quite okay nowadays still.
I was there, can confirm 🤘
I wish I would have lived through the dreamcast days
@@elmark3550 Crazy Taxi was what turned me on to the Offspring! All I Want and Way Down the Line ftw!
Dude, the American Pie movies had some of the greatest soundtracks.
Absolutely
i know right... even the libertines are on it! feeling so nostalgic listening back tho haha
yes 💞
you bet they have nostalgic.
y finales de los 90
I'm Japanese and listening from Japan
Listening to it decades ago makes me feel like I've slipped back in time
Back in those days when there were only small worries.
May all the various people who come here be happy
im like that with the stranglers man.
I'm Brazilian and that's exactly how I feel too man! Cheers from the other side of the world 🤙
私も日本人です!
my fellow peers, my generation! I hope all of you are doing well and are happy in life! Wishing you fellas only the best. Time really flew by didnt it? its already 2024 and im turning 33 this year....

Binza well said!

Binza You wanna rock? Check out Hellion Prime.
Binza right on brother giver hell age is just a number offspring is an amazing band
Best comment on here lmfao
The 2000s, oh how we miss you
So much
90s and early 2000s great rock music
@@douglab222 punk music
a lot
The offspring, zebrahead, sum41, blink182, Avril Lavigne damn I really miss them!
The first two American Pie movies had the best soundtracks ever, hands down. Nothing will ever touch 1999 and early 2000s music.....ever.
My dad passed away yesterday and now I'm making a playlist with all the songs he loved and I remember him by. This is one of them. Thank you dad for showing me the greatest artists of all times. Loved, missed and never forgotten 🤘🔥
stay strong, may he rest in peace
@@itsmebitch08 it's an indian subchannel, don't give it too much mind... my father passed when I was 13 and I still think of him. I want you to stay strong for real reasons.
I love tom hiddleston, too. Have a good day.
I love music and from certain songs I get the shivers. This us one of them.
If one of my children would do what you did I would be very pround of them.
He may can't thank you anymore, but I'm sure he would be very pleased!
This shows sooo much respect and love for him. Music will make him stay in your heart forever! Believe me.
Thanks from another dad ! ❤️
🙏
Sorry for you loss 🙏❤️ May he rest in peace
I feel like the American Pie films were the last era of comedies with amazing soundtracks. They always knew what to play at the exact right time. God, the late 90s and early 00s are painfully missed. 😭😭
Spot on. The second American Pie film has an especially awesome sountrack!
greaaat
The good old time of comedies movies. 90's and 00' movies were way better than most movies today, which are only about explosion and special effect. Back in the time, OST and actors played a bigger role for the success of a movie
And sum 41
Nothing can beat American Pie and that feeling of want to be on that party with this music.
Fun Fact: The babe in this video is Katelyn Rosaasen . She is the same girl from Linkin Park's "Crawling" music video
Which babe? Lol alot in this video...wow
@@akinsheye1 the girl shows at the end of the video
Who's the rocker chick from the beginning? She's smokin
You know that i been looking for this 15 years? god bless you bro haha
Sir, you just win your like, thank you.
Anyone in 2024 ?
Memories ❤️
Yep
siempre
Green Day and offspring all day baby 😝
Yep always
The offspring, American pie, and hackie sacks! High school days was the shit!! I’m 36 now and this song takes me into the Time Machine to the greatest memories ever!! Thank you! Very grateful for it all!!
I almost forgot about Offspring, Jesus Christ I feel old now.
+Cane Richards Don't know how you can forget. Must of not been a true fan.
buen tema
+Cane Richards dont do that.... thats bad
+Sitnubs ...
+Cane Richards me sucede lo mismo :D
American Pie
Aha
Literalmente
That's what brought me here. Lol. I forgot how good this CD was. They have a video for at least half the album.
Just remember not to eat it 😂
Xd bro
Offspring Is too underrated even though it's one of the best pop rock bands
Take me back to the 90’s and early 2000’s. Everything was still normal.
yeah, there was no problem about pronoums to use
And I was young lol
going skating after school playling tony hawk and chilling with friends outside best time
The best
Yep, but we thought it wasn't. People thought the world was going to hell then too. We had no idea what was coming. I loved the '90s though. Watching videos on MTV and VH1 when they actually played music videos, and waiting for my favorite bands to put out new music so I could go buy the tape (early '90's), or CD (mid/late 90's).
The Offspring managed to take a completely simple riff and make an absolute banger out of it. One of my favorite songs!
I believe they really whooped ass with this sound, one of the best of them all
Rumour has it, originally written by Dexter to give to the vandals to record. Vandals for whatever reason declined so the offspring did it.
It rocked back then and this song still rocks 🤘🤘🤘
Bro I’m a rapper and I’ve been trying for over 5 years tryna turn this into a hiphop song, I do alot of music that but this song I can’t get the melody out my head in order to come up with my version lol I tried for another 4 years before 2016
@@obeewaunoasis7459 Use song to midi software, think Ableton does that, so it can be same melody but not with guitars, then you can use hip-hop synths or whatever you use.
This reminds me of high school. I was 15 when this came out. I'm 31 now and I still love this band.
Me too brother, the best times
Really
Well time sure flies huh
*31 too. This era was the best!
Same here! 31 too!! (Netherlands). As RedPhoenix37 said.. best Era!
Me too. Happy days!!!
The same here (Austria) 30now !
The Offspring gives me the weirdest feeling of a band that I barely heard about, yet I've heard so many iconic songs throughout my younger years.
To the next generation... Kids don't let this song die please!
Absolutly in agreement
Now the kids aren't alright
Haven’t and never will
@@arielayala4884 sad truth 😢
@@vvx600 we better! ✊🏻
Quarantined and thinking about being a teenager again.
Quarantined and being a teenager, you wouldn't be missing much rn, lots of online school and can't go out and chill with friends. Can't wait for this corona stuff to be over but music is a great way to pass the time
Nope... had this on my phone's for over a decade... I remember burning the album onto my PC then installing it to my Sony MP3 player haha
Trust me being a teenager right now is really shitty bro
Kylesm 2004 Yeah but we’ll look back on these times in the future for sure
It sucks, I was rather be a teenager in the 90s then now
The anthem of early 2000s sk8er kids who don't really skate.
Umm... What? This is 90's punk rock, not that wubby shit "sk8er bois" listen to.
GamerDude6798 Haha, I was definitely one of those skater kids who couldn't skate! I'll be damned if I didn't try tho. Great song too, btw.
TheGuyWithABrokenGun This song was made in 2000 and I was just pointing out that this song sounds like a lot of the Pop Punk that those kind of people listened to (And I listen to that kind of stuff so I'm kind of an idiot for saying that). I know The Offspring usually doesn't sound like that but this sure does
Amen man. This is still one of my favorite songs and I don't even skate.
I was a sk8er back then, good old times and music
May 2024 attendance 🤘
I'm 60 years old and I still ROCK IN ROLL TURN IT UP !!!
61 here seeing tgem in august 🙌🏼
yeah dude!
aah the great punk gods of the 90 and early 00's bands like these and songs like this never lose their appeal several old songs of the offspring, sum41 and blink 182 still hold true to me even today even though the songs are almost 15 years old
this is not punk this is metal get your facts right dude
Mike Reynolds en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Offspring
I rest my case
Mike Reynolds they are extremely punk, i'd get your facts right dude
I know this sounds like a stupid question but does the Offspring make anymore music?
Dunno think so
I never understood that ending as a kid...
I do now
And what is it? It may be different according to the interpretation :)
Mine is: well, she's all in "white foam" which is quite obvious what it means... And he's blown up by the experience.... so :D :D :D
What's yours? :)
for me it was when billy madison laughed out loud at 69 ... and now i get it
Teodor Kasabov it's like jacking off and blowing the load everywhere like the movie scream
Pretty obvious now ;)
Btw, there is a nice interview with
Katelyn Rosaasen about the shotcakand101.wordpress.com/2014/03/21/ass-from-the-past-2-katelyn-rosaasen/
2024 y no supero este himno aún 🔥🙏🏻
I discovered this band in March and now I can't stop hearing them. Incredible songs I love it.
How old are you? Either very surprised you have never heard of them or very proud of your parents.
@@keithkovalic he is like 12
Haha
Wow congrats. Better late than never eh bud? 🤙
Parabéns
It's so sad to think those days are now gone... I remember me as a teenager getting hyped each time with these type of songs... Ready to own the world.
Now I just feel old 😔 gosh
The Conspiracy of One album was pretty much Americana Part 2 but didn't seem to catch on as much as that one did. Songs like this really capture the cool feeling of 90s and early 2000s skater pop punk culture...I miss that.
+JPMcFly1985Two Dunno, I Always thought the post-Americana stuff to be a bit too smooth and 'high-school' orientated. In a sense that it could be a theme for like American or something haha.
+frandalfstormcrow Hey, at least it's better than the "Days go by" album. I was so sad when i heard it and realized that they're pretty much doing cheap-ass Rise Against ripoffs nowadays.
Fraggr92 Yeah I think Splinter (03) and Rise & Fall (08) were like not as good as their 90s material, but still pretty good.. but I agree there's nothing memorable on Days Go By.
I don't know if they just got older or lost touch, but it was a disappointment.
+Fraggr92 Fair enough, I haven't properly paid attention to it, but my gf plays it every now and then. She's more a fan than me. I did go to their show a few years ago, for nostalgia's sake. They played the whole Ignition album and a selection of other tracks, including my fav (All I Want).
+JPMcFly1985Two This whole culture died after 9/11. Sadly, there was never place again for such a laid back, not politically correct, but also kind of self-centered way of living. Although I do think The Offspring was a little bit above all of that, despite this song being the epitome of such style. Funny thing is, some things of pop culture got even more intense with the years, like barbie dolls singers turning into sluts, haha.
I came today in April 24 to relive my childhood.
es un salto en el tiempo por lo menos de 20 años .. que recuerdos y que tan sencilla era la vida " y nos quejabamos de nada "..
20 years since this song was released, and it's still great to this day
Damn... early 2000s music videos were just built different
Now we have great high art like WAP - fantastic
Everything back then was more fun.
Truly was .I would give anything to go back to 2001!
My dad showed me a lot of 2000s rock artists, And it makes me sad because I wasn't even there then.
maybe they're the reason you're here now, so don't be sad
I can delete a lot of music from my computer, but I would never get rid of my American Pie Playlist. I loved those years, life was fun and my mother was alive. It’s incredible how many people can relate and agree that late 90s and early 00s were the best era for this music.
There's a really outstanding period of music between 1990 and 2003ish that has never was never and might never be topped.
The soundtrack of American Pie should never be deleted, amazing music and incredible memories from back then!
stifler way! yeahhhhh
It's the truth brother.
Fuck do I feel this to my core. Great music, family still around, life was just better, summers were better, music was better, life was just so much better
Damn why did generations have to change, everyone sucks now, and to top it all off I can't have friends that like rock and punk music cuz most peeps like pathetic pop music. I'd rather have no friends than having a friend repeat that they LOVE justin bieber
OMG yes
''OMG I'm so unique and everybody is so dumb and stupid'' grow up... tired of the same comment in every song I listen. Many people still likes punk and rock, you just have to search better
ikr it's so true a few of my friends are punk rockers like me but everyone else likes Beiber it's so friggin annoying
Is that directed at me or the other commenter?
Ignacio Torres ?
oh man, haven't heard this one in a while. This was my favorite song from the first album I ever owned, which I won on the radio 21 or 22 years ago and I still know the lyrics.
This song, like others by the band, is unforgettable. Offspring, for me, is one of the greatest bands of all time. I can't help but praise the two beautiful models that appear, one at the beginning of the clip, the first to be approached by the guy and the last. They are two of the most beautiful women I've ever seen in a clip, especially the first one. Regarding the last one, she appears in clips from other bands as well, such as Linkin Park (Crawling) and Deftones (Change).
Boa observação!!!
kim smith and katelyn rosaasen.
f&^k I miss early 2000s...
i know that feel bro
I miss the 90s so Bad, they had even better songs like Gone away. But the early 2000s sure were good too...
This band will never get old they just age like a great wine
Offspring lead one of the greatest vocalists ever!
This band never gets old. Their Dallas 22 show brought back soo many memories.
Perfect example of a “punk pop” song.has every element the break down. The verses. The power chords. Dictionary definition.
The best time of my life, when I was a kid during the 2000's
Thank God i got to grow up in the time offspring was in all its glory. They changed my musical direction forever at 14 years old in theearly mid 90s. This is what music should always soundlike andmake me feel. Like driving 100mph singing like a lunatic with a huge smile on my face. For life 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Pude realizar meu desejo de ve uma das minhas bandas favoritas tocar esse musica ao vivo e voltar pra minha adolescência instantemente - rock in rio 2022
Still love this after God knows how many years. Louder you play it, the better it is :)
Still listening to this in 2016
Wooden Bob 2015???

Internet Explorer is to internet what offspring is to music : old but gold
I'm 16 now and I'm so glad my Mum has been introducing me to bands she listened to when she was a teenager. I fkn love The Offspring now 🔥🔥
It's true what they say music has the ability to activate the brain's reward system, releasing neurotransmitters like dopamine that are associated with pleasure and positive emotions. I'm all for it! What a tune this was and still is 😊
that n also this song is actually fye
The switch up @ 3:00 mins is like the purest of pop punk...I can't get enough of that last portion of the song. I remember listening to this on a legit discman over and over back when I was like 10 or something and playing Perfect Dark on the N64 split screen vs bots. Legendary. Blink, Offspring, Sum 41, PS1, N64, demo discs from gaming magazines, long summers, no responsibilities, dang. I really see why people used to say ''back in my day it was better''...living it now.
when life was good!!!! and Mtv was MUSIC TELEVISION!!!!
i moshed so hard at their concert on 2/28/95 in worcester, ma. i had to call in sick to work the next day due to exhaustion and lost my voice. been a fan 28 years now & they're still one of my favorite bands

Tenia 10 cuando salio este temazo y otros tantos, si bien creci escuchando todas esas bandas de rock y metal derivados de aquellos momentos, Offpring es de mi bandas mas favoritas, casi todos sus temas son rebuenos.
Happy Birthday to this song. 20 years ago today. Wow where has the time gone. This was the best of times during my high school years 🤘
The guitar sound it's so energetic and the ending of the video it's so inocent. 😌
Growing up in naughtys was the best. If you had that privilege too then we were lucky. Pure memories of my childhood xx
I miss so much the early 2000s that even makes me cry
These guys have been around for at least 25 years and I saw them in concert for the first time ever last year when they opened up for 311. They were amazing! Makes me regret not seeing them sooner.

Lo que más me gusta de la banda , aparte de su música y lirismo, es "el ambiente divertido y desenfadado que crean". Nunca crean indiferencia. Siempre energía y buen ambiente. Gracias por la alegría que transmite lo que hacéis.
I like this song stayed up all night changing that transmission in my truck then couldn't get it out of my head and pulled another all nighter then got in my truck and drove of listening to this song
First concert experience where you guys! Man oh man thank you for the memory’s. Thanks for the music, so good! Take care ❤
I remember listening to music like this when I was in college in the early 2000s. The year 2000, 2001 had some of the best rock and roll music on the radio.
Oh my god how I miss this kind of music.. makes me sad people cant do this great music anymore..
Love The Offspring.. Gotta play loud in the car when cruising through the city tonight! :)
Show them what music is MAAAN
People do make this kind of music but it doesnt sell as shitty trap does
They played at a music festival a few years ago without a set list. They just ran a Twitter feed on a jumbotron and played the songs requested by the fans. It was KILLER!!!
I love you guys since I've been a teenager in the 2000's. It's been incredible that you've played this song this year at Rock im Park and Graspop so I could listen to it and sing along.
