Hey y’all, I’m Lauren!👋🏼 I started WW in September 2016 and lost over 60 pounds, in February 2020 I decided to quit WW and focus more on Whole Foods, nutrients and good ingredients! It will definitely be balanced with the occasional taco bell...lol! I started working with a Registered Dietitian in April 2020 and have been reverse dieting since then in order to raise the calories I eat in a day while maintaining weight. In a few months I will cut down a little on calories to lose the last few pounds from there! I live in Texas, have the best cat named Hutch, an amazing boyfriend named Morgan, I love coffee, home decor, and anything true crime. Love seeing you working out, girl! May I please make a suggestion? I suggest you start with just 2 of the 20 min rides per week. Once that becomes consistent, then you can add more time or more days. I see this a lot with my clients where they almost try to make up for not exercising for a while and then try to do it 5 days a week. And that’s too much, so they stop all together, and the cycle continues. Baby steps!
Have a strong reason for wanting to lose weight. For me it's all about being healthy, happy, and wanting to grow old gracefully and vibrantly. I want to be able to feel good so I can continue to travel and pursue my dreams

The wings looked really good. Girl I need variety as well. Every time I cook I make extra and freeze in individual servings for lunch or dinner. My freezer is full of seasoned cooked taco meat, sliced meatloaf, homemade breaded chicken tenders and nuggets, meatballs, etc. I also freeze meal kits. Mississippi beef roast with carrots and potatoes, pork roast with sweet potatoes and apples, roast chicken with stuffing and mashed potatoes. Cook big once...eat many times. I just pulled out a meal kit with 3 slices of spiral ham, cheesey potatoes, and corn souffle...it was so good and just heat and eat! Do the same with a large batch's of chilli, soup, baked pasta! Convenience is the key. When it's your own food you also know what's in it!
Haha! “There she blows…” is probably what you were thinking as opposed to “that’s all she wrote”. I think I once said, “that’s letting the horse drive the cart” which was a combination of “letting the tail wag the dog” and “putting the cart before the horse” 🤦♀️😂 I still think it works.

How was the oatmeal? You are making great choices and addressing your stress. I love the support Morgan's giving you. I get the burn out on the meal prep. I'm trying to do 2 or 3 different breakfast's so I have a choice; something the twins suggested in their video. Hang in there, you got this.
The oatmeal was good but I wasn't blown away by it so probably wouldn't repurchase for me but Morgan loved it!
Your tote bag for your laptop is so cute!! My family and I get the Walmart brand parmesan garlic season packet and put it on potatoes. It's so good. I got the idea from Amanda Lewis!

Love the idea of batch cooking/prepping a protein, veggies, and grain & changing up the seasoning/sauce. If you’re in a pinch, love the grains in a pouch I got at HEB that you just microwave for the convenience. They have different ones and a pouch can be spread over a couple/few days. One of my favorite combinations for a bowl is mixed grains (I half the serving so not as many carbs/calories), add chicken, spinach, & air fried sweet potato cubes. I found a delicious Zatar seasoning at HEB and I mix it with fresh lemon juice and a tiny bit of olive oil to make a dressing I pour over the grains with the spinach mixed together and then top with the chicken and potatoes. It’s so lemony fresh and delicious with the sweetness of the potatoes on top almost like croutons. So yummy!
I love the cherry limeade sparkling waters, they’re probably my favorite - but also it’s hard to find in the cans but the pineapple coconut are also really good

I definitely have to make that Shrimp fried rice meal - looks so easy and yummy! I buy veggies and forget I have them, so that defeats the purpose of getting more veggies in. 🤦♀️

Have you ever tried the blackened chicken tenders from Popeyes? They aren’t on our menu here but if you just order the tenders combo(or separate) just tell them you want them blackened. They are awesome. No breading.

I thought your sunglasses looked cute :) The shape fit your face really nice! An Amish place near me makes THE best fruit salad and I splurge on it once a week. Its way easier and cheaper than buying all that fruit myself. Plus I'd end up wasting so much if I made it myself because I'm the only one who eats it. Convenience for the win 👍

Thank you!! The first one with the flowers is from target like 5 years ago😩 but the red one is on amazon and they usually have several colors! I don't know if you're opposed to products with aspartame (really bad for you). The orange crush packets have it in them. I'm not opposed to substitute sweeteners, but aspartame is the most harmful one. Google it

I dont have a peloton bike I have a cheaper one but I use my ipad to display the Peloton app and take their classes and I really like it!!
YES to the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Oatmeal (I use the creamer in the coffee too lol). I am addicted to La Criox Limon Chello it's so good and any brand sugar freegrape packets for the bottle of water. LOL Seriously if you haven't tried the Limon Chello you have to, you will love it. Morgans wins "man of the year" leaving notes like that!

I did not get a peloton I have my bike linked in my bio! It’s about 1/4 of the cost of peloton and holds my iPad so I pay for the peloton app $13 a month!! I love the bike I got and I have a discount code that saves you $50 too! I have the black one and it’s sleek like the peloton 🙌🏼😍
