- Hard working full time UA-camr Toon has ALL of his channels HACKED STOLEN AND SOLD on the blackmarket. Despite many emails working with UA-cam support, Toon has been unable to get his channel back. It find it disturbing that UA-cam won't reinstate the channel after it was obviously hacked. Just goes to show how deeply unprofessional YT is and that they don't care about the content creators.
I'm glad someone is drawing attention to this, I haven't heard about this guy's story and UA-cam should be pressured into dealing with these matters like every other company/org does when someone is hacked or their identity is stolen
This lines up with UA-cam's past pattern. It's a shame this company is misrepresenting and letting down it's content creators
This guy absolutely vanished after this. It really must have been a catostrophic downfall for him, to lose his livelihood and it was never recovered. Was his response a bit charged? Of course. I doubt I'd have the composure to beg over and over for help either. In the emails it's odd, you can see him give them dates and info in scores and in the next email they asked for the same stuff except formatted. Very unfortunate that he had to leave the platform with such a bitter end.
been watching him for ages and it's really sad to see this happen to him. hoping he'll get his channels or at least the main channel back even tho itäs quite unlikely.

My channel was at 1600 subs and it got stolen from me yesterday through an email that said it was from UA-cam and that I had a copyright issue with a video and when I clicked the link it took me to google to sign in and then back to UA-cam and 5 minutes later my channel is gone!
That doesn't make any sense whatsoever. I remember when it first came out, UA-cams Content ID blocks copyrighted material before anyone else an even see it.
i don't see how they'd collect the money unless they changed the address, and it seems like the address change and password change and copyrighted material would be a big tipoff.
This also happend to Riggsgaming channel as well
The dude hacked me, it was a asian dude aswell and changed my profile and he uploaded alot of Chinese videos aswell, just to get the money. Yea the 10k channel got deleted so I started my channel again, but this time it has 2 steps verification. I feel bad for what happened to twoon.

It's not that easy for you Google account to be hacked... Maybe in UA-cam... But not Google... Google tracks your location and sends a code to YOUR phone. And the other person cannot change your password without that code.

My chennel has jst been hacked an lucky me the shit bag who hacked me took over my account but did move my chennel and didn't change my previous password.My previous password helped me gain control again

thank god this will never happen to me, my channel sucks and im proud of it.......its safer that way lol. just so you know, I was laughing the entire time thinking this was a joke....... I was sadly mistaken.

The criminals are uploaded terra-bytes that YT has to store, waste cycles and human resources.

Why doesn't UA-cam have a simply velocity metrics check? The credit card companies did this decades ago.
Hell YT, make it a smart one that checks the account's historical upload pattern.
