Not going to lie, I was fully expecting to hear this song when they went to fight Rasputin. The 1812 Overture is still a solid choice, and I will not knock them for it, but come on. This was the perfect opportunity to use that song unironically
I wasn't upset that rasputin wasn't the main bad guy but I was damn near disappointed when this song wasn't in this scene. But honestly overall a good movie and never knew I needed something like this lol
@@novastonegaming It isn't true . Things are more complicated than that, but here is not the place for a hystory lesson . Rasputin here is actually using a few dance moves commonly used by the Georgian national dance ensemble. Eg. Where he spins, drops to his knees, jumps up and continues spinning.
I do agree with most of the people saying that he should have been the main villain of the whole entire story instead of the guy we got at the end of the whole entire thing I especially love the choreograph fight of like just normal hand-to-hand combat and dance choreograph I thought that was amazing
I get the feeling Rasputin's dance during the fight is partially because he's trying to confuse his opponent. He's doing an excellent job with his blade form, but also he distracts the opponents, by moving like a dancer, as opposed to a fighter.
The King's Man felt like it could have been a whole Trilogy; Part 1 with Rasputin, Part 2 the War up to Conrad's death, and Part 3 the Beginning of Kingsman and the end of the Great War.
This fight scene is so dramatic that it’s basically a freaking dance battle, why didn’t they put Rasputin as the music playing in the first place!? It would’ve been more appropriate
What?? What Kingsman was I watching!! I never came through this fight scene... I thought Arthur and Merlin only start going on missions after the death of Conrad Oxford!!!
Poisoned, shot, stabbed, beaten. Tied up and thrown into a river. He died because... the watter was too cold and he couldn't untie himself in time. Say what you want about the politics, but that dude was an absolute terminator.
It wasn´t too dificult make a better villain. In the others films we saw the character from the begining and have time to understand their motivations. In this film (a precuel wich wasn´t needed) the villain is the villain because potato.
Imagine if they make a more brutal version of the song to put during the fight! I mean, Kingsman can play with this things, they're just so lazy in this new film
Nicely edited. The Boney M. song lends a different feel to the fight than Tchaikovsky's '1812 Overture' and I like them both, but the Boney M. song works great!
Good afternoon If you're interested, I'm a member of the medieval fencing section, and I used to be a dancer And in this scene there is much more from dance (and more from tactical classical ballet) than from combat Movements are irrational and slow, they spend an unjustifiably much effort. Oh, those Russians. Pretty sure Rasputin wasn't a bad guy though. His biggest crime was praying for the prince so hard from the other side of Russia that he actually recovered. We all know at this point the "revolutionaries" were the real bad guys.
He gave advice to the tsarina that was coincidentally helpful, like avoiding giving the tsarevich any aspirin. The reason he's viewed negatively is because of the bad political advice he gave to the tsarina as well as worsening corruption in the government.
He had an awful reputation for shagging everyone he could and trying to expand his influence over the government as well as taking bribes in return for political assistance.
It’s a shame he wasn’t the main villain, it’s more of a shame they didn’t actually use this song for the fight
They made a special trailer with this song.

The agent is fighting for his life, Rasputin is just dancing like it's every other tuesday
The attempts to kill him in real life, was just a weekend for him.
If Rasputin isn't dancing while fighting in Shuumatsu no Valkyrie I don't want anything.

amazingly shamful
Literally danced on them
Rasputin fights like he's batman in the arkham series building up his combo meter
Real life Rasputin was a pretty tall guy who used to work on frozen fields, so he was probably pretty strong.
Don’t fight with a dancer. Dancing translates way too well with fighting.
Until they get shot
both Gurkhas and the freedom fighters had fierce battles but only short lived.
it was bloody battles, they said heads and limbs are rolling.
