WOW .. this sheer power ... around 400 W all time! What a beast. And this dystopian music! You came a long way Terrry... from Hotline Jason Colon - which i liked very much - to this masterpiece. Kudus from Germany
The speed you see on the screen isn't accurate. Terry is using a wide angle lens which increases the sensation of speed, and how far he is from the cyclist. If he were using a 50 millimeter lens, that would give you more of an accurate representation of how fast he's going.
Love the new speed and power metrics in the city. Also, that was all-out! Love the color grading as well- v immersive in that wide-angle pov. Lastly, dystopian ambient was the perfect choice for this crusher
Consistently putting out 400w uphill! Dvvid is a BEAST! And the fact that Terry is following him on probably a less aero bike with a 60lbs rig on his back! OMG!
See so many comments referring to whoever you are filming as ‘a beast’ or ‘really putting it down’ but it’s you who is keeping pace and filming too. Amazing skill. Some of those gaps get smaller as you are approaching them and I find myself breathing in. Love it Beast Barentsen !!
Man NYC is so huge. It must be crazy to live in a city that is so big but also so flat. Great video as always sir. Speedometer was a great touch, it confirmed my suspicions that you people are beasts and I have some work to do. Keep the vids coming, they get me through the cold Canadian winter.
It's interesting to see the speed/power meter when the cyclist is looking for some real straight-line speed. But I guess we don't want this to become a competition or something like that. It's also better sometimes just not to know the speed, kinda leaves room for mystery and we can imagine what we want :) Awesome video as always ! Love the ambient sound, it really calms me down 🫶
Thanks for the telemetry Terry! It enhances the viewing experience. Please be safe while playing dodge-cars! It is a tricky business. You guys and gals; have nerves of steel!!!
Programme: popular demand Setup: Nuh-uhh, you only thought I was gonna get dropped there! Rider mindset: numbers Motive: da fame Soundtrack: Uh-nuhh - Kenji Kawai murder scene - is someone gonna get hurt tonight? Execution: CUTthroat
amazing flow. how do you keep up with him some times?! will say, you might need a clapper (two or three significant wattage reads) on the mph and watts registered because at the end of the vid he was definitely going faster than the readout.

Love being able to see the speed! I've always wondered how fast you folks were flying!
Agreed, gives us an effort perspective that I can scale to how we ride. As always great video Terry!
It reminds me that they aren’t just “cruising” when they do these hotlines. They’re pushing it. Makes me feel less mediocre lol

maintaining anything over 20mph is difficult.
@@Flashback_Jack i think he means the speedometer? i think

True, but it being an e-bike definitely helps. Doesn't take away from Terry's bike skills though.
The background music is so ominous for like no reason lol I love it. I also can’t believe bruh hit 30mph 🤯

helluva workout, possibly the straightest hotline ever
Mesmerizing. This guy is crazy fit. I did miss the OG hotline intro music though.
Yea, bring back the intro! 🎉🎉
NGL kinda like just the ambiant noise.
Fellas, you missed the trailer.
The music really gave "There Will Be Blood" vibes. Love it! Amazing riding too by both you Terry and Dvvid!
This is amazing, it reminds me when i use to train on the fixed gear in the streets of buenos aires during the covid lockdown 🙌💪

such a happy video with such a dark music, i kinda waited for something bad to happen the entire time
This is why we have trouble racing with David. Beast on a closed course, beast on the road.🎉
Bladerunner 2023 vibes with the music ! Love it!!
In Terry's shadow, you can see that he was just chillin' and not phased.
Cant wait. I like to day dream that im in a hotline.
I've done that too lol 😅
One day homie! We're gonna make it!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who dose that! lol
That boy is MOVING !
Damn, lotta mustard on that hot dog
Definitely loved seeing the wattage. Ramirez pumping out those numbers are not easy.
Thanks for not making me ask a stupid question.

This one is very beautiful. Love the music and dramaturgy.
I give this video 4 out of 5 Cooper Rays.
yup same here
2 out of 5 Quadzillas.
JEEEEESUS!! pushing damn near 400 this whole video, guy's a beast!!
these ambient tunes are so perfect
the creepy music made me think at any moment he was going to get annihilated by some bus

Terry Has balls too! I would brake like 5 times there 🤣
This has gotta be the most intense hotline so far.
Nah, Safa's are.
It's the soundtrack.
Dvvid is quick. pulling away there for a bit in the beginning.
I am now going to think of this music every time I see a bike, THX TERRY I AM NOW AFRAID OF BICYCLES!~
Great your putting the speed and watts on now. Gives us more of an idea.👍
yooo terry be like yo let’s show em what we rip at nyc
Like Batman chasing the joker. Badass!
Least amount of traffic I’ve ever seen for a hotline
I don't care about the cars, fuck the cars, but the pedestrians...
Love the music in the background!
Love the MPH now I know you guys are flying
You're so FAST! I had no idea, till now WOW!
Fixed gear riding in NYC is on par with the Olympics for both rider and cameraman 📸📽️🚲…Good job ..Ice Rider..🧊
Terry, make the conversion in km/h!
WHAT THE FUCK IS A KILOMETER
@@gratedcheese123
Five more letters than Americans are willing to pay attention to? :)
@@gratedcheese123 Perhaps, to your discontent, the rules' Rule #24 says: Speeds and distances shall be referred to and measured in kilometers.
24mph is about 38km/h
@@gratedcheese123 WTF is miles!!!!
I always scream TERRYYYY on the inside when I see a car getting too close 😩
Great background music for this ride.
awesome hotline Dvvid & Terry
Like I said in one of your other similar videos... this borders on metaphysical/spiritual in nature, maybe a form of "meditation through movement".
Love your channel terry!! Your videos got me back into biking! Thank you!! 🙏🏽
This video is fantastic and the background music 🔥
music adds to the flow.
He is one fast fixed gear rider , you huffing and a puffing keeping up .
The rider is the one mic’d up. Terry is on an e-bike I’m pretty sure.
@@lionsamer5480 lol 🤣🤣🤣
You guys are hauling ASS, you have serious SKILLS!! 🚴🏽♀️🚴🏽♀️🚴🏽♀️🚴🏽♀️
The music choice was awesome.
Love being able to see the speed and power data, although the speed data doesn't seem accurate. Was it just GPS data or an actual sensor?
The creepy horror track was an interesting choice
Every light is red 🚦
dem soundscapes tho
really cranks the intensity
cranks heh
Speed/Power. Finally!!
nice to see someone kitted up to ride.
That was fantastic! 🥇
I love riding in nyc but that's crazy...
speed and watts? sick!
Crazy wattage!
That explains why all i want is to eat and sleep after riding all day on a fixed gear bike.
Those stats increase the intensity dude, Cooper Ray needs to visit
Damn y'all was moving🔥

My day just got better😊
HURRAY for Telemetry Overlays!!!
Curious; are we looking at your metrics or David's? And what power meter is being used?
you'll be blessed when you read the description
Speed! Finally!
Is it bad that your videos make me want to move to nyc or any big city just to ride a bike 😭
Final boss music

Ave of america wave. I use it every day.3rd ave and 1 st ave from 14st to 125 st is the best.
Can you put a small map in one corner so that we can see where you are?
La crème de la crème !
There was a four minute stretch without a single green light. Yikes.

Love it but the background music is kind of scary ✌️

Are you riding the flat bar Terry B single speed, while filling this one?
I think he's riding his cannondale ebike. I think it's a topstone.
@@al-du6lb I just saw the narrower flat bars in his shadow while he was riding… total shot in the dark, lol….
