- Added a new addition to the family. We picked up our new Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Premium Crew today. This have been so a big dream of ours for a long time.
We finally got to a point we were able to order one and feel so blessed and excited to see what adventures we will have with our new ride! This summer will be a lot of fun and exploring with it, followed by what hunting season will bring us. But for now, we will be getting to put it to work plowing all the snow we have been getting this winter!

What’s the difference between the XP Premium and XP?
I believe the xp premium has better seats and in cab comfort, a few added cab features, some color choice and I am thinking it has different package choices to pick from. I can’t remember for 100% what all of different are tho. It is a sweet and very comfortable ride!
I believe all the 1000XP's are premium. Then you have the 1000XP Northstar Premium and then the Northstar Ultimate. They all get more accessories added with every trim level. You can get a lower level standard 1000. They have more basic seats and the single overhead cam engine rated at 60 some hp. The 1000XP is rated at 82hp I believe.
Did the winch come with the machine?
I did a custom order for mine and ordered it with the winch added on. I added the front and back window, doors and plow also when I ordered it. I went with the 6000 lb on mine. Been a really good winch so far.
@@jessecolsonoutdoors are you still running the 27’s or did you upgrade on tires?
I am still running the stocks that came on it when I bought it. Probably have a year or 2 left on them before I will replace them.
Is that the winter pre package?
This one is just the premium version. I added the windows, doors, heater and plow. Sweet ride thought, I can push a pile of snow for sure.
@@jessecolsonoutdoors i have a 2020 polaris ranger premium regular 1000 love mine boss v 6 6 plow on it canvas doors ,going to switch to hard eventually, ranger an all around great utility and play vehicle for sure
I have been able to be around a few over the years, they are great machines for sure. This is the first one I have personally owned though. Don’t think much has changed sense 2020 aside from colors. That is my plan as well. Probably use the canvas doors until they wear out and change to hard doors after that. I went with the Polaris plow for now but did make some changes to it so I can push more snow. At some point I may upgrade to a different plow but it woks great for now! They are great and so many add ons you can get for them as well.
@@jessecolsonoutdoors i found my boss plow used for $2,500 was like new best investment i ever made never have to leave the cab and hook up quick.
Can’t beat that, that is a good deal for sure. I ended up adding 6 inches to the top of mine and side fins to make a snow box plow so I can move all of the snow to one area at the end of the driveway.
What brand doors are they?
They are Polaris brand as far as I know, I bought them as an add on direct from Polaris when I ordered the ranger and they had everything on it when I picked it up so not 100% sure if they are a different brand. I attached a link below for the front and back doors I have.
They are great doors and a lot cheaper the. The hard doors. Hope this helps you out!
