I know I mentioned this many times but what a beautiful place! South Africa is definitely in my “must go to” list. The Prado is one of the vehicles that impressed me off-road. I didn’t think much of it until I bought one. Very balanced and easy to drive.
That was a fantastic video Gregg. The Prado is my dream car, in the UK we don’t have the spare wheel on the back door. Never the less I can’t wait to own one. And Land Cruiser looks at home in the beautiful scenery
Great video, fun watching the different point of views. Toyota Land Cruisers (Prado) are the trademark of Icelandic travel culture for many decades as it gets you where you need, low cost of maintenance, great service and the reliability of the cars itself are superb compared to Land Rover, Audi, Volvo etc. Regards from the far north !
You skipped the most exciting part of the 4x4 trial. We completed the complete 4x4 Trail at Grabouw 4x4 also in some stock vehicles. Next time do this section as YES as stock Prado completed the complete course. Check the link here.. ua-cam.com/video/9USD9HkAS5w/v-deo.html
Ghwaha, you get the vehicle we’ll spot you 👍👍 can cal it HMB series. HMB = Hold My Beer lol. Jokes aside the press car will im-press people, and return without a scratch. Sounds like fun to me.
@@tobiasjfmostert No chance, tried that route before, "Dead man's pass". and turned around half way, you blokes are not messing around. Prefer the gentile back nine in forest.

Beautiful indeed, the Prado is brilliant on and off.
Kenya is quite nice too!

fantastic video!
Thank you very much
You are very very good father!! Have nice life with your family.
Thank you. You too.
Excellent offroader, and good on you for tackling that track in the wet.
For sure Rhino 1, it had to be done.
I get that you can't trash the press car, but that was doable in a volkswagen beetle...
haha, good luck with that.
I see they have two routes an AWD and a 4x4? Which did you do?
4x4 route, both are cool.
@@Africasideways awesome! I'm bringing my 2021 Prado down to Paarl this December. I'll be taking my dad for a drive while there. Thanks for the reply
Pleasure, loads of tracks there to keep you busy.
You mentioned three & half tone towing capacity? Here in Aus we have only three tone capacity..
Apologies, you are correct, 3 tonnes.
Great video :-)
Thanks Roy
My dream car
Dream boat indeed.
4cylendr or v6???
That is a 2.8L 4cyl. the V6 is a 4.0 petrol.
how many south Africans can afford this car these days?
Only the 1 percenters.

I've tried the front nine of the trail before, great way to trash a press car.
@@Africasideways epic response, would love to see a press car on that section...just to make a point!
