Now that is one epic winter picnic idea Colten! Was wild to see the Kootenai freeze this winter, but I’m quite certain you had the best view of us all. Nice landing both times; 100% accuracy by your truck! 🏆
Thanks so much for this fantastic video!! It has all of the ingredients to insure I never attempt winter flying. It has also helped me adjust my preflight routine to include a go-nogo checklist item: Minimum 76 degrees F, or the gear stays in the garage. 😊
This is the level of adventure that paramotoring is all about! Awesome little day trip with overcast skies. Your videos keep getting better and better, thanks for sharing!
I attempted to take off in deep snow with my trike this week but failed (wheels, no skis). Hope to see your skis back in action soon. You've inspired me to go re-watch your ski vid. Might be time for an upgrade!
It was somewhere around the high teens low 20s. These gloves work fine, although they aren’t heated. My heated gloves unfortunately weren’t charged up.
@@coltenwenger what gloves are they as well as your heated and what temps are they good for? I've got some double lined non heated . My heated gloves from Gin are broken so I'm looking to upgrade
Love this video, glad you got a chair. Your usb electric fire lighter tip from a previous video worked great on our last camping trip.. thanks for that. What size is your wing?
Love the chair feels so nice to have something to sit on while out there. Glad to hear that you liked the lighter! Appreciate the feedback. This particular wing is a 26M
How do you like that three bladed prop? im at 8,800' and i've had a hell of a time doing take ofs in the cold becuase of the extra grear. Im working on practcing on skis and i did end up getting a 3 bladed prop but i've heared that it will both help and hinder....
Absolutely love the 3 blade, rarely ever switch back to the 2 blade. So much smoother, and quieter. As far as thrust goes I don’t notice a huge difference honestly, there is a slight difference but not dramatic in my opinion.

Do it man, skis make all the difference and are so fun to use! Thanks for watching!
Sweet! How cold was it and how'd those gloves handle it? I'm always searching for the best pair

The ones in this video are from cabelas, they are their Gore-Tex snowmobiling gloves. And my battery heated ones are called Action heat gloves 👍🏻.

Way to give it 100 on the launch. Did you intentionally target that wood plank for an LZ prep/ fire surface or happy accident?
Thanks man, haha no that was just a happy accident. Had no idea it was there
hi does having a three-bladed prop. give far more extra power? compared to a two-blade prop.
No not in my opinion, there is a difference but it’s not dramatic
What is the flight distance (km)? And a velocity?
Distance is:
Poop
Velocity:
Fart
🪂🪂🪂👏👏👏👏
Isn't it boring to fly alone? ;)
Not at all, 95% of all my flights are me flying solo.
