Hi I have a Girling master cylinder 2 hole , fitted on my Mk2 escort which has had been restored by past parts . My Question is which outlet lines goes to where . I have (A )nearest the servo to the front callipers . Then B (near the grill front of car ) to the rear drums? . Always been this way . But the Haynes manual not much help . Is that the same as yours . Cheers

The 2 lines into the master cylinder are the same but different size bolts, which you can not cock up 😊 hopefully this is what you mean 😉 my rear pipe is the one nr radiator, and front brakes pipe is nr servo, out of interest did you get a new master cylinder from Ebay, or have the original one refurbished, I have just sent my original one off to be refreshed as new, I am totally not happy with this replacement from Ebay, it's ok but it's really not worth the money, then the company said it's a replacement not original fitment 😊 laters Steve

Hi thanks for the reply . My 2 lines both have the same fittings so can go either way. But my girling is the same as yours then rear brake pipe near the rad . And front brakes near servo 👍🏻. It’s an original servo that I rebuilt with a rebuild kit , then stupidly stored in the loft dry . (While shell was sprayed ) it seized solid and torn up the O rings . So I sent it to past parts and it was also re sleeved . As well as new seals and & powder coated . Not driven it yet but using it with AP princess callipers and 9 inch drums . Pedal does feel a bit weak . But as I say not been on the road yet so may need more bleeding 🤔just wanted checking the lines are correct . Sounds like they are .

@@northeee I remember my old man saying if you don't use them things can declare quickly 😢 so I decided to send both master cylinders to be refreshed at the same time, best thing never put them into the loft, drying out to the biggest problem, hopefully you will be able to get back on the road soon, I am off to my last car meeting Sunday
