A bitter-sweet journey through the Forest of Dean for one last time brought a tear to the eye of several viewers in this household. You have a knack of telling it like it is with no frills and flim-flam. Thank you again for such a thought-provoking film, an evening spent with you is so much better than tuning in to the rubbish on the telly nowadays.
This was quite over the top with the drama to be fair, but by this time I had moved a long way from the Forest of Dean, so I knew it wouldn't be so easy anymore to make films in that area. Thanks again for watching and for your kind comments. Cheers, Patrick :)

Sorry to hear about your Dad,it's his loss,your Mum has done a great job,I'd heard you briefly touch on the subject in previous films and it's good that you can talk about it rather than bottling it up. Thanks again for sharing,13 down and 95 to go and loving it,tv can take a back seat while I'm getting through these ! Pete.

I edited the story of my Dad on here before I posted it on UA-cam as I spoke about other things that I felt would not be appropriate for public viewing. Again the story was rather exaggerated for the sake of adding some dramatic effect, but I wanted to emphasise that this would be the last film to be made in the Forest of Dean. But that was then. I've got new and different ideas now for the future. Thanks Frank and Lee. Cheers, Patrick :-)

Hello Patrick I really enjoyed this lovely to see May Hill thats was about 5 miles from my home , I have only ever been to the top once and I was 40 years old then here we are 28 years later its time for 1 more trip :) They a man planted 100 trees on the top and 1 died so there was only 99 I am sure there are more now . Have a great weekend .
