Coleford looks a very nice town, Patrick. That church tower is astonishing just stood on its own, most unique, I'd say. Your Dad is lucky to be living in such a lovely location. A walk through the forest looks so pleasant, and the village of Clearwell looks so quaint. The ironworks and that old locomotive are a bonus, too. Many thanks for this showing.

I've not been back to Coleford since filming this, but used to go there a lot when I lived down that way. Clearwell is a lovely village. Nice to see thse old locomotives being preserved. Thanks again Ffranc for watching and commenting 👍

That was a fabulous video as usual. I really must visit much more of the Forest of Dean when I am viviting relatives in Gloucester. The area is lovely and scenery fabulous. I found the Forest to be tranquil and peaceful which is an added bonus. I have to say Coleford looks a lovely place.

Good walk Patrick. The last time I was in Coleford and the only time a few years back I walked back to Ross via Lydbrook. It was slow but I enjoyed the town and had a cup of tea in a cafe you walked by. Interesting to hear about Clearwell castle, which i was hoping you would mention. Someone I knew used to put on rave parties there in the early 90's. It seems it has had a music connection to other psychedelic purveyors to. You always film beautifully and frame your shots in a really vocal way. Another relaxing rime spent. Take care as always. Mark

Thanks Mark. That's a good walk you did then to Ross that time. I remember Clearwell Castle being open to the public a while back, but I don't think it has done for a long time now. Interesting place for the rave parties though :) Thanks for the compliment about my filming. One of the reasons I spend a whole day filming a fairly short walk is because I take time to try and frame my shots as well when I can. Always good to hear from you Mark. All the best to you. Cheers, Patrick :)

Yes, it was a good walk Patrick but nice and slow. I think you're right Clearwell Castle hasn't done anything for sometime - I haven't heard anything. It's a real pleasure to comment on and watch your videos. I do learn - especially about framing. Very good old friend. Have a great weekend.

    Lovely Patrick,I really enjoyed that.
I would love you to make your films just five minutes longer, and let us listen to your music for a full five minutes or so while looking at the scenes, some of the tunes and you playing them are wonderful, but they seem to end just as I am enjoying listening to them, this one was lovely.
It was good to see you go back to places where you had filmed earlier scenes,I think the running was referring to one of the hour long ones where the guy fell on a walk with Michael and thought he had abandoned him,so came back with his heavy to seek revenge, and in the final scene it was revealed they were cronies of the girl who had drugged you with a needle,I really enjoyed that one.
Another great film Patrick thank you so much for sharing them,we really appreciate it,all the best.
    Pete.

Thanks again Pete. I do feel that 20 minutes is long enough as I find that more viewers are likely to watch than if they are too long. I certainly feel that way if I'm looking at other films on UA-cam. The running I referred to was back in the fifth film where Nigel was trying to lead the walk in that particular film, then towards the end he gave up and I led him and Michael through Nagshead Plantation, and we ran in order to meet another friend the other end so that they wouldn't be late for their lift home. Thanks for your kind words Pete as always :)
