so I've been looking all over for the correct error free bulbs to do this with and for which kind for my 2007 e90 320i; ideally I want all the lights white, from fog to drls to high and low beams. what bulbs would you recommend (h6,7, etc) which company and most importantly what kind (hid, led, xenon, etc)? And as someone whose played around with different configurations, does what I want make sense or do you see there being visibility issues? There doesn't seem to be a definitive video out there so far regarding a complete bulb upgrade.
That's a very good thing to consider, however, In my experience the best is direct replacements for what the headlights are designed for. If you have halogen headlights like me, then a 35w HID Kit w/ warning cancellers is your best bet (55w if you can get them) with 6000k bulbs. Same goes for the foglights. For the high beams, stick to halogen. You don't want to mess with high beams especially because you need instant light when you turn them on. For your DRLs you can go with a direct replacement LED bulb kit. That's the best setup I've had with my particular headlights. If it were OEM xenons, I'd just replace the bulb with a better quality different colour bulb. I hope this helps
@@Realpreshaanb thanks so much for the detailed reply and apologies for the long & multiple questions. I've just bought a e90 320i in November so besides the mechanical and interior (comfort) upgrades I got a friends shop to do, I'd like to slowly start doing everything myself. Watched your video on changing interior bulbs to led and ordered both sets right away so I can start the diy process myself. 🙌 Do you have a discord or WhatsApp group or something I can join?
DIY Route for most cases are best, its what the channel was based on before getting into more specialised stuff... fortunately for me, i don't have a discord or whatsapp direct contact for my own sanity and privacy
I have those on my low beams and my fog lights which is what i use all the time when driving... I went with these as they provide maximum brightness as per OEM standards with instantaneous light... So far they're doing the job and is much better than the LED bulbs i replaced them with 🙌🏼
@@Realpreshaanb Yeah, sorry I just saw at the end of the video that upur low beams are HID. Thanks for the response. I came across your channel whilst looking for the angel eye bulb replacement. The cabin filter is another thing I need to do. Your channel is very informative. Keep it up - you're helping more than you realise.
@@Realpreshaanb I recently bought an e90 320d and I'm hearing a weird whirring/sometimes grinding nosie from the fan or blower motor. Also an odd rattle from the passenger side at low revs.. this isn't all the time. I think it's related to the vibration from the engine.
Thank you for the kind words, that really means a lot 🙏🏼 I've done a cabin filter replacement video if you're interested in checking it out... As for the grinding noise that you are suspecting from the blower, i would have it looked at as that was a component that was on a worldwide recall, i personally haven't had any noises or anything in that regard even with the vibration from the engine
@@Realpreshaanb Thanks man. Yeah I checked the VIN on the bmw website and it mentioned a recall campaign. I will check it out at some point. I'm always traveling so time is hectic. Hopefully we can meet up in December when I'm back in SA. Would be cool to have you check out the car and give your opinions on any work to be done.
Nice to have you back!
Thank you for your continued support 🙏🏼

are the front lights from valeo?
If you're referring to the actual headlights themselves, they're OEM BMW LCI halogen headlights made for BMW by valeo
RH - geni.us/vP4jq
LH - geni.us/o7ABTxi
Do they blink when light are off tho
No they don't, these bulbs are halogen bulbs so the "bulb check blink" isn't visible unlike LED bulbs
@@Realpreshaanb thank you for the speedy response uve earned yourself a new subscribe brother
Just go plug & play HID. You won't regret it.
