59 and overweight, started Gracie JJ clases 3 weeks ago and LOVE IT ! But, for the first time in my life I have stiff n sore knees.
I just ordered Asics gel knee pads. Any warm up or stretching I should be doing ? Thx !
Try some of our classes on here or on the app as a warm up. You'll feel more prepared for ever before you start rolling 🤙
i was pretty overweight and recently injured my knee. Be careful with over training. Body not used to rigorous activity and the mind might can go further faster than the body. Also work on strengthening and conditioning the muscles around the knee with rehab/prehab exercises and continue to focus on building flexibility. this is basically how im approaching it
This will make me more flexible for transitioning and submissions?
