No worries about grades, no added stress, no depression, less anxiety, and a time when I could enjoy every minute without dreading the next. I still go back to playing minecraft, it is a nice little escape from reality until I remember I have a test or an essay or a project due tomorrow and I need to get it done. I miss the days when I could just load up a world and spend hours on it, and having my mom yelling for me to get off those games and do something productive. I want to go back, I don’t want to grow up.
i can just hear the doors opening, the cows mooing, the sheep yelling. the sound of wooden planks hitting the soft blocky grass, the start of your first night hut.
lol I was hearing all the minecraft sound effects until you mentioned a yelling sheep, then I just thought of that screaming goat thing. Like, *click*, *moo*, *AAAAAAAAAAHHHH*
I know. I feel all of you that used to get on in 2010-11, get on that same old survival, and just play for hours on end. With that same music ingrained in our minds. Those were the days. The days. I miss it so much.
@@awsomenesdragon8519 why does everyone talk about dying this, dying that? Its not about popularity, its about fun. If some people prefer fortnite then so be it; Minecraft is a generational game regardless of whether people also play fortnite. Stop witch hunting people for playing a different game.
It physically hurts me to listen to this in a way I could never describe. Never fails to make me cry. My childhood, the better parts of my earlier life, the bonds I made and the things I built. Nothing ever truly can or will be able to fully describe the impact that the Minecraft soundtrack has on people
I got tired of Minecraft one day and I stopped playing it but then I said: “maybe I should delete it” but then I thought “nah why would I do that” so I never did
20 year old Doomer, no friends at college, no jobs, and nearly zero social life. Came here to enjoy my past when everything was more simple. I’m not sure about my present or future, but hearing these musics and thinking about my past childhoods gives me at least some hope. One day I will get through all of these struggles I’m currently facing, and tell my story just like I did in Minecraft when I was young. And to everyone who is struggling like me, cheers for you and hope this message will be a slightest light in the dark ❤
As someone who is three years older than you and in a similar situation. I wish you the best of luck and to always have a positive attitude. It’s will get better.

It's actually kinda weird scrolling through the comments and seeing people with the same nostalgia from childhood wonder. The reach of this game is far greater than anyone could ever, or ever had imagined.
It ain't 2nd most sold game for noting And technically Minecraft is number 1 couse when counting how many game Tetris sold the took into consideration all the Tetris games ever made
The minecraft to outdoor pipeline is real. I used to play minecraft a lot when I was younger. During COVID I spent almost all my time doing it, loving exploring the wide, vast landscape. Building my own nations. Then I got into hiking, and then followed by that, climbing. I think I've always had a desire for adventure that minecraft filled for a while. I started hiking some local trails, then exploring further, then driving out to the mountains, sometimes spending whole days on snowy peaks without seeing a single soul or footstep that wasn't mine. I'm getting into mountaineering now, accessing some of the most inhospitable terrain on the planet (mount washington in NH, known for its horrific weather). Minecraft got me into this mindset of independence and exploration, and I can't thank it enough. Minecraft is beautiful, but not even close to being as beautiful as the mountains.

imagine this: you are a historian in 2700, and you come across an old game called "minecraft", at first you felt like chastising the game for its strangeness...however you kept going through the game, finding it difficult to play as everything was written in old english, but none the less you managed. as you explored the game more and more however you began to appreciate the strange beauty of the game. you eventually felt compelled to find out more about this "minecraft". you found old digital articles and videos about the game, that one "bedwars", a highly popular multiplayer game, about how many people of the years 7 centuries before you share your opinion about the game... you wrote an article concerning minecraft 2 months later, after extensive research about the etymology(it is the words mine and craft put together, as they are the 2 main actions the player will perform) of the word minecraft, as well as other details necessary for the article, you were the one who shone the lime light on the game of mining and crafting once more...the game was soon translated into a more up to date English, and the game was converted into QIV(quantum interactive video)...a culture formed around it once more.

@Retz Retz I know, I wish I could go back. The memories we make today will never be the same as they were before. Before everything became so stressful. When everything was just so simple. We can still have fun and play Minecraft, but it won't be like it used to be. I'm just so upset that I never realized how good of a game it was until I grew up and look back upon those memories I made. I'm happy that I was able to grow up with this masterpiece of a game, but there's just something that's stopping me from being content.
We need to keep the memory alive because without our reflection it might fade away; and this too important of a piece of my life to let slip through society. One last thing, the take away is that you never know what you have until it’s gone. 😭
Damn, lots of good luck next on, a real challenge awaits, rn I only have 3 years till I reach 18 and I gotta admit, it's hard, but yeah I wanted to wish you good luck and a stable life bro!

I'm listening in 2020. The world is falling to pieces, and my dog just died. But this music reminds me of a simpler time. This game was the literal building block of my childhood. I always get a weird feeling listening to this music, and it is the best feeling ever.
Especially streaming. Ninja and Tfue usually play video games for a living and they travel the world and make millions just by playing video games. I get it if people say, "Get off, you've been on for so long" but other than that. It can change your life
Absolutely. Video games made me who I am today, and allowed me to go into my chosen profession. I'm glad that I live in a time when a medium exists where I can express myself creatively and get fulfillment from it. What a time to be alive.
my best friend on xbox360 left me... last online 7 yrs ago after this i leave from xbox... i am so bored about it, this is very sad. cellulardig6 please come on, i miss you 😓
This soundtrack feels like someone, through music, is describing being isolated and bare. Like you are remembering a great kingdom that has fallen, and is now empty and wasted. Like you are remembering a brother you loved who has died, and you are looking at his picture. Like you are thinking of your family as you are leaving them. Like you realized you missed out on something big. The music has crescendo's and decrescendo's, like a lump rising in your throat. It's bittersweet. It has lovely melodies that start promising but always end leaving you feeling... empty, for lack of a better word. Like you want something you lost. You remember the good old days and realize you can't go back. And we can all relate to that feeling, we can all relate to losing something. But that's not to say the music is bad. In fact, it is very good. People have misconceptions that being alone is inherently bad, but it isn't. And that's why this music is perfect for Minecraft, why it fits so perfectly. Because in Minecraft, you ARE alone. You are the only one of your kind who is around. Not even books about who was there. The only remanent of people before you you can interact with are music discs (ironic, huh?) . Music adds as much, if not more to this game than any mob or item. It adds more than any block or biome. Because music, especially this bittersweet kind, can touch your emotions in a way no objects can. And that is why Minecraft's music, no, MINECRAFT will be one of the greatest game of all time. It connected with us through song, and thats a connection we can't easily forget.

I do remember when I first met this wonderful game. I was 11 in 2012 when I saw a random video by unknown player, teaching the quickest method to find diamonds. I was fascinated by the picture, graphics and essentially atmosphere this game gives. I didn’t know the name of this game so that I couldn’t track down that video again to find out what it was called. Later, maybe a month or 2, I told a friend of mine about this video and it turned out he knew this masterpiece. Unfortunately, I have lived in Russia and that’s by far the reason why I wasn’t able to purchase Minecraft. So I downloaded a pirate launcher with version 1.2.5 and that’s when my journey started out.
I never played online when i was young, me and my brothers just played the Tutorial since we only had the Demo on Xbox 360, I remember we would always quit if we saw any hostile mob (or an iron golem) It took 1 year of playing until [MONSTER HUNTER] appeared in the top right That was a fun 6 years ago
Friends from 2012, so many of them, I'll never hear from them or see them again but I'll never forget them and the fun times we had on this game for the Xbox way back before we all moved on and away from each other. I love you guys.
I know exactly what you mean. Now we're all off in college, and this sound track is all we've got to remember it. I don't even have the 360 anymore. fun days of the past.
master of Something 7:23 reminds me about the times when I would sit up in my giant tree house, and look out at the sun setting past all of the massive things I had made.
i had over 20 super close internet friends i would play minecraft with, i set up my own server so we could all do our thing but back in 2011 we all got out of playing it. i had like 3000 hours on record? thats not even counting how much time i played on 360 and alpha. i just got out of college and this is the fist time ive heard these songs in 5 years. it brings tears to my eyes every time i hear this

AUCH THAT HURT
Hurts
I never played online when i was young, me and my brothers just played the Tutorial since we only had the Demo on Xbox 360, I remember we would always quit if we saw any hostile mob (or an iron golem)
It took 1 year of playing until [MONSTER HUNTER] appeared in the top right
That was a fun 6 years ago

Friends from 2012, so many of them, I'll never hear from them or see them again but I'll never forget them and the fun times we had on this game for the Xbox way back before we all moved on and away from each other. I love you guys.
Kreamations ★ i actually cried i miss them too😞
I know exactly what you mean. Now we're all off in college, and this sound track is all we've got to remember it. I don't even have the 360 anymore. fun days of the past.
james wasda Of course, man. Stay strong.
master of Something 7:23 reminds me about the times when I would sit up in my giant tree house, and look out at the sun setting past all of the massive things I had made.
i had over 20 super close internet friends i would play minecraft with, i set up my own server so we could all do our thing but back in 2011 we all got out of playing it. i had like 3000 hours on record? thats not even counting how much time i played on 360 and alpha. i just got out of college and this is the fist time ive heard these songs in 5 years. it brings tears to my eyes every time i hear this
"I'll find some diamonds, you build the house."
reminds me of when my brother and I used to play split screen when we were younger
I wish I could save comments
@@bentuu The best you could do is wait for someone to reply, the thread will then be saved in your gmail forever unless if something goes wrong with the server. Or, you can simply take a screenshot of the comment.
Nostalgia
@@sskindog I also played with my brother when we were younger
Minecraft... the maker of true nostalgia...
All of those lost memories... stored away in my head...
Now seem like the present...
Whenever I play this game, nostalgia follows...
It makes me want to cry quietly...
Tears of joy.

@@Woofis69 I'm doing the same thing too. I just picked Minecraft up again after a few years. Started a hardcore survival game, just like the old days.

Turning 18 so now I get to write a comment. I loved to play Minecraft with my sisters back on our PS3. I cherish those memories. Now in present time I really only play with my cousin but we find things to make Minecraft always interesting. We started a story that stretched out to nine different worlds. Minecraft will never be forgotten.
I feel you
i love how brothers and sisters play minecraft together. it’s not like “you’re a girl you can’t play” it’s just two kids having fun on their favourite game
