I unfortunately didn't play minecraft until high school and the soundtrack brings me such a sense of relief but unlike the nostalgia people feel for their childhood it just makes me wish I played it as a kid too :/
But maybe it would get diluted among other childhood memories, and maybe it wouldn't be so special like it is now :) I started playing MC when i was around 19-20, and it was the perfect time for me personally. I have plenty of other good memories from my childhood, but not many from age 19-20 except Minecraft. Honestly i wouldn't like it any different, i played it just in the right moment. Minecraft helped me through some really hard times in my life, i was a complete mess at that age and the game kept me happy and sane. But i played with 10 other close friends on a private server, while also playing stoned all the time, so it was the whole experience that was meaningful to me :)

for the past 3-4 days the only way ive been able to actually sleep is this playlist and i dont know what about it is different from the millions of others but it brings back so many more memories of having my laptop open as a kid and letting the music play from the loading screen to go to sleep or the evenings where me and my brother would play split screen minecraft on his xbox 360. today i still contemplate asking him to play again for old times sake on local play where we would have building competitions or where we would inevitably delete a minecraft world because one of us grew up before the other and although the years between us stay the same, it feels like we're growing apart in a way only a good game of minecraft can undo.
I wouldn’t call myself a Minecraft veteran, but I’ve been playing since 1.8 and still love the game, but man, back then when I was on a single player world and just figuring out what everything does while this music played in the background, it was absolutely magical. Quite a few years after that, around 2019-2020, I went on a random multiplayer server because it was the weekend or something and I was bored, and I met these players who were about my age, and man we had so much fun together. After that, I didn’t seen them again, and I didn’t even remember it until one of my friends invited me to a little SMP they had been working on with friends. So I joined the discord and hopped on the Minecraft world, and turns out, it was them, from all those years ago, and turns out I knew a lot of them already as personal real life friends. One of them remembered my name and my old Xbox live account from the time we played together, and we started to get to know each other, and, a few months after that, we fell in love. I’ve never before encountered someone as likeminded to me as her before, nor have I encountered anyone as kind and as caring and intelligent and loving as her. In fact, she’s going to come visit in about a week and a half. I know I’m probably gonna be viewed as another sappy comment, but I really wouldn’t be who I am right now without Minecraft. Thank you, mojang. For everything.

I remember those days where my parents weren't in good situacions, aggresive conversations, fights between them, things that for a kid of 10 years old would've been a trauma for nowadays, but thanks to this game, I could forget those traumatic moments, everyday that I woke up, was to meet my friends, like 4 or 5 of them, to watch videos of minecraft, play minecraft, roleplay sometimes, doing maps based on famous things, like hello neighbor, granny's house.... Praying everyday to be all of us in a single room, cuz sometimes there was always 1 o 2 of them that haven't the right to play.... Being with them was my way to escape from my dark life, and thanks to this game, I could have a great and amazing childhood
This honestly makes me so sad. As a kid, Minecraft used to be so simple. The game felt smooth and natural, something irreplaceable. Now with all these new updates, it almost doesn't feel like the same game anymore. Caves and Cliffs is the last update that still felt like ... Minecraft. This life moves on, things are always changing. Sometimes those things don't need to change. Be aware of life; overlook the past so you can see the future ahead. Keep building, thriving, and loving. Minecraft taught me to cherish those things in life, whether it was building yourself, or a house. I will cherish the memories with my sisters forevermore. Stay with what or who makes you happy. I've learned it's better to let go of the drama and the bad... it just isn't worth ruining your mental health over. I don't know who needs to see this, but keep going.

I started playing MC when i was around 19-20, and it was the perfect time for me personally. I have plenty of other good memories from my childhood, but not many from age 19-20 except Minecraft. Honestly i wouldn't like it any different, i played it just in the right moment. Minecraft helped me through some really hard times in my life, i was a complete mess at that age and the game kept me happy and sane. But i played with 10 other close friends on a private server, while also playing stoned all the time, so it was the whole experience that was meaningful to me :)
@@twentytwo138 you’re absolutely right. I started playing when I was 17 and that year is packed with so many warm memories of hours of Minecraft with friends. It was during quarantine, so if it wasn’t for this game I would’ve otherwise been very lonely. I hope your life has gotten better :)

for the past 3-4 days the only way ive been able to actually sleep is this playlist and i dont know what about it is different from the millions of others but it brings back so many more memories of having my laptop open as a kid and letting the music play from the loading screen to go to sleep or the evenings where me and my brother would play split screen minecraft on his xbox 360. today i still contemplate asking him to play again for old times sake on local play where we would have building competitions or where we would inevitably delete a minecraft world because one of us grew up before the other and although the years between us stay the same, it feels like we're growing apart in a way only a good game of minecraft can undo.

I wouldn’t call myself a Minecraft veteran, but I’ve been playing since 1.8 and still love the game, but man, back then when I was on a single player world and just figuring out what everything does while this music played in the background, it was absolutely magical. Quite a few years after that, around 2019-2020, I went on a random multiplayer server because it was the weekend or something and I was bored, and I met these players who were about my age, and man we had so much fun together. After that, I didn’t seen them again, and I didn’t even remember it until one of my friends invited me to a little SMP they had been working on with friends. So I joined the discord and hopped on the Minecraft world, and turns out, it was them, from all those years ago, and turns out I knew a lot of them already as personal real life friends. One of them remembered my name and my old Xbox live account from the time we played together, and we started to get to know each other, and, a few months after that, we fell in love. I’ve never before encountered someone as likeminded to me as her before, nor have I encountered anyone as kind and as caring and intelligent and loving as her. In fact, she’s going to come visit in about a week and a half. I know I’m probably gonna be viewed as another sappy comment, but I really wouldn’t be who I am right now without Minecraft. Thank you, mojang. For everything.

I remember those days where my parents weren't in good situacions, aggresive conversations, fights between them, things that for a kid of 10 years old would've been a trauma for nowadays, but thanks to this game, I could forget those traumatic moments, everyday that I woke up, was to meet my friends, like 4 or 5 of them, to watch videos of minecraft, play minecraft, roleplay sometimes, doing maps based on famous things, like hello neighbor, granny's house.... Praying everyday to be all of us in a single room, cuz sometimes there was always 1 o 2 of them that haven't the right to play.... Being with them was my way to escape from my dark life, and thanks to this game, I could have a great and amazing childhood

As a kid, Minecraft used to be so simple. The game felt smooth and natural, something irreplaceable. Now with all these new updates, it almost doesn't feel like the same game anymore. Caves and Cliffs is the last update that still felt like ... Minecraft.
This life moves on, things are always changing. Sometimes those things don't need to change. Be aware of life; overlook the past so you can see the future ahead.
Keep building, thriving, and loving. Minecraft taught me to cherish those things in life, whether it was building yourself, or a house. I will cherish the memories with my sisters forevermore.
Stay with what or who makes you happy. I've learned it's better to let go of the drama and the bad... it just isn't worth ruining your mental health over. I don't know who needs to see this, but keep going.
