You explain this section in a very simple language and way... I am watching your videos and it really helped me in learning the law limitations and prescription. Excellent teaching sir.

Sir, you already discussed this sec is applied only on suit and applications , but in sub sec (1) and (2) contain one line ... Whether in a court of first instance or of appeal or revision, I can't understand about this line please explain it.
I filed a complaint in consumer court on 16 june 2016, now i want to file civil suit for same matter. Now will Civil court exclude the time period as per Limitation act? Pls guide me.
Explaination no. 2 thora clear kren k appeal resist krne ko proceeding prosecute krna samjha jae ga mtlb? Phr iska effect kia prega period of limitation pe?
Great video bro thanx a lot, but you have wrongly explained the explanation (a) - it actually means: the day on which the former suit was instituted before the wrong court + the day on which that suit ended + the period during which such suit was pending - has to be excluded while counting/calculating the Period of Limitation under this section.
Actually it’s about rule 1 of order 23.. and here sir explain us the sub rule 3 of rule 1..so thts y u get confused.. check or 23 of Cpc it’s containing rule 1 with its subsections...from all which subsection 3 of rule 1 is relates to here..and rule 2 is exception of this sec 14(3)..
You wrongly explained the explanation (a)... Actually it says that 1st day and last day shall be counted in excluding the time period... Please correct this... This may lead to confuse the students
