every time i see you in comment sections i ask myself what you are doing here. Then i start to think and then i actually wonder why i don't expect you in videos like that more often.
If you think about it, just about everything he sells you is stupidly cheap. A handgun for 50 EUR? A frag grenade for 12 EUR? On the other hand, Leon is probably getting ripped off himself when he sells those treasures that could make him a millionaire if he kept a few.
@@eriktruchinskas3747 Hey those ganados had to have gotten their rocket launchers from somewhere. They are clearly driving down rocket launcher prices.
I feel like this was a run in which the runner got unlucky in some parts but was skillful enough to think on their feet and keep going, whilst providing good commentary at the same time, really talented.
@@josephkitchen3059 Yeah, if they are in a neutral state you have to stop running and then back up slowly. The enemies have this programming that tells them to attack if you run at them so even if you just run for a millisecond towards them and then back off they'll usually whiff you.
Kate can wait wtf really ? (Asks self same question as I continue to watch video and see if this is true) I’ve played this games probably 20 plus times
I love this run. The atmosphere in the room and the banter are so chill and wholesome, the run commentary is really insightful and funny, the donos are so endearing, and re4 is my all time fave. Found myself going back as comfort content staple.
This is impressive I’m sure it’s nerve racking to try and accomplish a speed run perfectly with a room full of people watching but man this was impressive 💯💯💯
I had friend who finished this game more than 100 times because he loved the game that much. This is back in 2010 and he had no internet (From a small town in South India) nor any idea about speedrunning. But he always challenged him with a timer to finish the game faster and faster. No one took him seriously.
I remember on my GameCube version, the QTE fight with Krauser was the HARDEST part...the disk had a scratch, and at that part the sound cut out and the game froze after each QT input. I had to do the input, open the GameCube lid, manually spin the disk, shut the lid fast, get back on controller with the same QT input before the disk spun up, and repeat for the whole fight...with no sound cues.
This was the first game I ever tried to speed run. I always thought that beating the game in under 5 hours, no deaths, and on professional, I got the PRL. Little did I know that was region specific after beating the game in like 2 hours
47:36 "Lotta people don't know that, so... There you go!" HOLY FUCK, I'VE PLAYED RE4 EVER SINCE IT CAME OUT, HAVE IT ON MY PS2 BUT BOUGHT IT TWO DAYS AGO ON PS4, BEEN PLAYING CASUALLY THIS TIME AND JUST GOT PAST THE WATER HALL THIS IS NEWS FOR ME, MAN! THANK YOU!
When I played RE4 as a kid even then I felt like the purpose of the op rocket launchers was for less experienced players to get through the difficult boss fights. I remember my friend and playing this for the first time taking turns after every death and we were terrible. We NEEDED the rocket launchers or we never would have passed most of the boss fights. On that first playthrough we also didn't know you could run so that might have had something to do with it. Of course its such a good game we replayed it a million times getting better every run. My friend became so good at this style of shooter that when Dead Space came out I got to watch in horror and amazement as she beat it in just under 4 hours and almost never took any damage.
I've always wondered what was going through the minds of the builders that built the monk cathedral. "So yeah guys. We want you to build this massive castle and one section, we want you to build a bridge, but with a couple of sections missing, and we also want you to install 10 ton swinging axes that pass over the bridge." The builders: "Sure, they pay well. Probably shouldn't question it."
Watching this again after the remake to relive my favorite RE speedrun moment. "FaZe Clan, consider this my resume. I'm gonna take out all these enemies with some quick scopes. I missed."
And here I am in 2021, after beating this game multiple times, learned that you can close the well before you pick up the treasure, for it to stay clean. I feel so fucking stupid right now. I want to come back to this game, but in the remake.

I like how realistically powerful the RPG is in this game. Few living creatures should be capable of surviving a direct hit from a high explosive anti-tank round. Surprisingly in this game, despite all of its unrealistic and supernatural parts, that holds true.
Another lore about Leon *during his first day of work as a police officer in Raccoon city he was actually late for work. His girlfriend broke up with him then he left his house and slept in a roadside hotel and woke up super later for work* How Leon ended up as a bodyguard of the president is beyond my comprehension.

oh heck yeah, wont get tired of RE speedruns

every time i see you in comment sections i ask myself what you are doing here. Then i start to think and then i actually wonder why i don't expect you in videos like that more often.
I can never forget the fact that in Resident Evil 4 you pay 30.000 Spanish PTAS for a rocket launcher.... or..... 180€ to make it clear.
Well who else is he gonna sell them too?
If you think about it, just about everything he sells you is stupidly cheap. A handgun for 50 EUR? A frag grenade for 12 EUR? On the other hand, Leon is probably getting ripped off himself when he sells those treasures that could make him a millionaire if he kept a few.
@@eriktruchinskas3747 Hey those ganados had to have gotten their rocket launchers from somewhere. They are clearly driving down rocket launcher prices.
Well, Spain got euros in 1999, and the game is set in 2005. Maybe the whole world economy in RE is alot different thanks to umbrella.
Btw. 180€ is $202.52
i was watching this run just to see The Krauser cut-scene. It starts at 1:18:53 ahhhh! some good times those were
My sister played this for her first time and got scared and shot the merchant
😂
this made me laugh mainly because you said it calmly and simply. If that makes sense lol.

Loved it when they overdubbed that Leon vs Krauser cutscene. Then the end with Ada leaving and “REJECTION”. Fantastic.
The krauser fight was hilarious! What a great run.
Almost every words and letters. They recite it like a bible verse!

The Krauser cinematic was pure art. Nice run as always!
