Awesome job! I really don't understand why some people prefer a "quick overview" of something as complex as a synthesizer... so many possibilities, right? Subscribed!!!!
Really spent a good time watching this one. Very inspiring to get in the studio and mess with stuff. Appreciate the clarity and simplicity with which you explain. Thanks
Thanks man i need this guide :) by the way on the CA2600 From cherry audio you can use in/out multiple times i have the Arturia version and the cherry audio both fun and amazing
Thank you for this awesome video! I actually learned a few more things about the Arp 2600, and I have a much better understanding about how this synth works now =)
Great walk through of one of my favorit Arturia VST's :) About the Retrigger, you can hear it if you make a sound decaying down. Hold it and hit a key below, then it doesn't retrig. I've tried for a couple of years to have Arturia make it "last priority" but nothing happens - it's useless when it's only low priority :(
Damn !!! I didn't try that. And I agree, the lack of the key priority options is a let down. But, I guess this gives you so much things to work it, we can let it slide for this time. :)
@@XNBeatsMusic I wanted to use it for the famous Equinoxe 7 bass but it's simply not possible without last priority mode :( I know it was like that in the original but they changed a lot of other silly 70's things so why not this too.
@@thhedk Completely agree. Same with the SEM, it's great. ..but some things are off. Like the unison and play modes as well. But again, they are highly usable still.
why are some of the cables one color or another? i assume it has to do with function but i havent really figured it out. maybe just cause this is my first semi modular synth outside of something like phase plant so my head is spinning a little bit lol
Still trying to figure out how does the input jack between orange mixer square and the panning slider works, I think it's to modulate panning, but whenever I connect to a modulation signal, sound goes off, can anyone help?
Hello 🙋🏾♂️.., I'm having issues getting a live input to sound off. I see my input, but yet i only get that flat sound of my guitar as i play live. Can u explain how to route a simple analog (live) input? Ex: like a 'Who Are You' sound. I was able to easily accomplish this with the cherry audio version, but i can't seem to figure this out with Arturia. I am using Cubase. What is the correct routing?
Thank you, glad you liked it :) The oscilloscope and spectrum are native plugins from Bitwig. If you want free ones, check socalabs, this dude makes plugins, they are great and free. socalabs.com/

Thanks for this. This one of the few synths in the V Collection that is confusing for me
thanks !! it looks really confusing, but once you learn some patches and get a global idea of how it works, every part becomes easier to learn.
Thanks man! Really appreciate this in depth tutorial.
perfect guide to Arp2600
Thanks !!1 I really went to work on this one.
grande, finalmente ci sto capendo qualcosa, un augurio per 100 anni di benessere

Again, the best tutorial on YT ! By far.. the mother of all Synths
Applying this thorough info to the Behringer Gray Meanie on my desk atm, THANKS!!
Thanks for this tutorial!I don't know if I'm wrong but after I tried I think VCO1 is the sync slave instead of VCO2.
Thanks for this tutorial (edit: just noticed the length of this video...wow, really appreciate it)
Yeah.....it is a monster. That's why everything is timelines and divided in sections, you just watch what you care :)
such a comprehensive video! i thought you were way more popular, this is very well produced! thanks for the help!
Very comprehensive journey through this amazing synth. Thank you so much.
Probably one of the best 2600 tutorials I've seen. My one complaint - I wish you spent more time on the ring mod.
i think your tutorials are sooo great, already learned dx7, jun-6, prophet....would be amazing if u did pigments
I guess I will, when I ran out of Arturia synths to cover. It's a lot of work, Pigments is very very deep.
You're a genius! Thank you so much for the good tutorial.
Thanks for the comment, glad you liked it, the Arp is a Beast
