Dan and FabFilter have not only made the most high quality videos on music production I've ever seen, but ALSO a clear and EDUCATIONAL explanation on HOW loudness works, why it is the way it is, AND how to use it effectively. This is the kind of content that is SORELY missing from UA-cam, where half-researched and semi-educated guess-like content regarding music, mixing, and mastering has flooded the platform. This is the kind of content I'd PAY for. Having done my own research on these topics to better understand my music and my faders, I can say that there is NO better summary of this on the internet, and that even after having done my research this taught me things I STILL didn't know or realize.
Incredible work FabFilter and Dan. I LOVE this content and EVERY producer should know and practice these concepts if they want to have any hope of perfecting their craft. I cannot thank you enough for providing this for FREE.

My god, this is the best audio related content I’ve ever seen in my life.
Every video is an insight, a gem, a priceless experience.
I’ve studied audio engineering in university but I’ve never had this information presented to me like this at all. Almost every single subject of these videos here and on the Dan’s channel are the eye-openers and I’m so grateful that people like Dan are using UA-cam to share this information for free (I mean we as viewers don’t pay for it).

Are you serious? See this is why I've been hesitant on throwing down thousands of dollars for something like that because I'm afraid of getting semi-ripped off and not learning all that I need to / want to especially when you can learn everything you need to for free in this internet age. All I want to do is know how to go into a mix knowing exactly what I need to do to achieve optimum loudness and clarity. I'm getting there but I feel like it's taking way longer than it should
@@lifelesun the best advice i can give you is to only pay for or watch audio engineering courses that are made by a college or a university that teaches audio engineering.

Very nice video! I thought I knew all about this, but still learned a few things. Good job going that deep into technical details, and at the same time keeping it easy to understand, especially for a non-native English speaker like myself.
Excellent video - very clear explanation and you kept it moving along so it stayed interesting. I knew a little bit about this topic before I watched this and it helped me confirm that I indeed was solid in what I had learned but now I feel like I learned a lot more and I am going to watch the part 2 video right now.
