Actually not just 1949. With the bed details it represents a 1948 through mid year 1950 Ford F1.

I first saw this little truck in summer last year and immediately fell in love with the way it looks. Had it on order for months, but delay after delay meant I got over it and eventually cancelled my order. Let's see if regret sets in, once I finish watching this video!

Tomley! Press the CH4 “Train” button as well as the CH5 “Climb” button, to get even better low crawl control. Both buttons should beep 1 or 2 times indicating the two modes on each of the “Climb” and “Train” when cycling the buttons.
Still have yet to get one of these, I'm on the fence about the whole crawling epidemic but if I did get one I definitely would go with one of these style FMS trucks

FMS listens to consumers. We all lamented the additional axle on the Apache and wished it were more scale, so they gave us this. I wonder what will come next...🤔

I rec'd a notice from FMS on this release (they ship from Canada now, yay) and when I saw it I thought you could go nuts building a nice scale rig. Add some thin strips of wood in the bed, cut out the doors, add some chrome on the window drip rails, and if so inclined, give it some patina.
Def needs some oil filled shocks though.

Is “climbing mode” some version of the FOC that Furitek implements into its electronics? I know other mfg’s also leverage Field Oriented Control as well, I was just citing Furitek as they, much like FMS/Roc Hobby, operate in the 1/24, 1/18 space mostly as well.

I don't get why they keep releasing small scale when these need to be 1/10.
Crawlers need weight so make em bigger.
I like the Atlas and it's brilliant value for money where I live, unfortunately, it's one of the few FMS/ROChobby 1/10 scale we can get here.

Question for the Pro's or anyone that knows, do these RTR kits tell you how to saftely discharge the battery (for storage)? I have some older cheap mini heli's and the batteries are all dead because I always just fully charged and left alone.. do these batteries for the trucks or cars actually come with the proper stuff so the batteries just don't go bad after two months? I appreciate it, I think its not asked enough
In my experience they do not. SCX24s, for example, have a USB charger with no means of putting them into storage voltage.
As far as I can tell you'll need a proper Lipo charger and the correct charge leads to put them into storage. The only exceptions I've seen is Parrot Drone batteries and Spektrum Smart batteries that auto discharge to storage voltage.
Fully charge and then just drive for 10 minuten. Always worked for me.

Are there aftermarket parts and add on available for this model I bought a hobby king bad bug years ago and very quickly got a bad taste for the manufacturer not having stock replacement parts available or contact information available

Hi guys, does anyone know what the differences between V1 & V2?
I just got the V2 and it has different electronics (transmitter & receiver /esc), no working rear lights and an extra towing bumper as spare but apart from that I don't know what else might be different 😕, I can't find a separate mode for climbing either and FMS has no idea about this version 2 product ☹️
I recently buyed another V2 and want to know the difference!
Are they usually that noisy..FMC24 so quiet, but then after this Atlas six wheel drive, so noisy is this common
It’s more to do with the hard body. I didn’t try it.. but opening the hood or putting some foam in there will make it less noisy
