Who needs to be an expert when the vehicle is most likely going to be totaled by the insurance company? Range Rovers tend to have poor resale value anyway and one that is on a rebuilt or salvage title is going to be worth even less. Take the insurance payoff and don't go through the hassle of trying to repair or rebuild it because it's not a rare vehicle and they make new ones every day at the end of the day it is not worth the time money and effort put into it because people looking for a used one can find a heavily depreciated one that's never been in an accident.
It being a 21 I would probably. let copart take it and you collect that guy's insurance. Good buy a new one. Fixing that you'll always have troubles. Plus, it's a range Rover. They're good for 100,000. That's it. If they make it that far.
I got rear ended in a 05 tahoe by an old crv while sitting at a red light. Trailer hitch went right into her driver side crash bar. No crumple or cushion just a thud. Fucked her car's frame good but at least it didn't puncture the radiator/components. Mine just needed to be realigned and a new chrome bumper.
Unless there’s major frame damage, I believe it’s getting repaired. Plus, no airbag deployment is the major factor avoiding a guaranteed total loss. Let’s hope we get an update.
As an estimator.. take your money and run!! The front bumper alone will be 5-8k if those lights are damaged. Not to mention two new quarters, rear body and lift gate
Lot of body work. But perhaps it is worth to keep it. It is too nice to go to scrapyard. I will repair if it has no mechanical issues and repairs are arround a confortable cost. The interior looks increidble well.
I would buy it back, fix some of the cosmetic issues, lift it, put some off road tires on it. Then you have a nice daily that you don't have to worry about getting dents and dings on it.

Via insurance repair this is easily a $30-35k+ repair. Given its value, I think the insurance company would rather copart it and get $25-30k back. Makes no sense to try and repair. For your average body shop, they could probably fix this for $15-20k with used parts.
Take the money and run, be happy you sold that car to the insurance company. Unless J&J auto salvage will give you more than insurance plus towing its not worth the time.
If you rented it and took the depreciation against the business rev then it’s already been made worth it. If you get money for it you’re going to be taxed on that. So I say buy it back keep it in the business

Given the high resale value of Range Rovers at auction for export overseas, the insurance buyback cost likely won't make it worthwhile to buy back.
