Varo is a "credit rebuilding" card. Definitely not enough limit for the 4 seasons.
There’s no limit on the card u can use it as long as u got money
Varo has a debit card. Their credit card is the credit rebuilding. They are just like every other online bank
It’s a weird card choice since even with shit credit you can usually get a credit union account or some other type of more legitimate looking card.
Mr. Spaghetti catches the marinara fraudster before they could steal his secret recipe.
Nicely done! 👏👏👏

I only come here for these comments 👏👏👏
It didn’t take past the first comment. Well done.
At this point trying to steal Rob's cars is like a meme Tiktok challenge lol.
I'm one of the few people who keeps it real in this industry. Not telling you to buy my e-book on how to make $1M a month renting Exotic cars with no Risk and No Money upfront!
@@superspeeders Lol right on. I keep it real in a different way. I'm as far from all the exotic cars and associated lifestyle as one can get, i make like 5-6k a year and if i made a million i wouldn't know what to do with it, i'd probably be stupid and invest it in a beat up 70-80's era 4wd pickup truck that runs good and some stable low risk stuff that pays dividends then reinvest those instead of cars, coke, and hookers or whatever the normies would do. I'd probably buy another used Thinkpad too and like 10+ new t-shirts from the local thrift store.
I live almost two miles high in the desert mountains off grid and self sufficient, i ride a badass 30 year old dirt bike and none of your cars would ever make it to within miles of my place except maybe a G-wagon. I watch these vids like Rick and Morty watches Interdimensional Cable, like the whole thing (not you personally, but the world itself) is not even real. You and i are so far apart we don't even breathe the same air lol.
@@superspeeders I sent you $100 for that damn book - where is it? LOL.
@@superspeeders Instructions unclear, have now purchased Amazon.
@@superspeeders Yeah, but just FYI... if you sold one, I'd buy it. 😛 You *do* make it look interesting and fun. 👍
Who the hell would spend $1000 a night to stay in Baltimore. It’ll be cheaper to buy a house there.
But then you risk getting robbed and shot
Poors who steal money and want to pretend to be rich for a couple days.
Garbage City, Oops, I meant Chocolate City. 🙉🙉🙉🙉
Baltimore is a shipping port, so the container would have been ready when the car had arrived for shipping.
I haven't watched Rob in more than a year, nice to see the pasta comments haven't gone away
Still as tired an unimaginative as they were a year ago.
@@BobbyGeneric145boo, people having fun are losers. booo

Can't people just rent a car, take it to the drag strip for the day and then bring it back like normal people anymore...
Not those kind...
Speaking from experience, Rob will happily let you rent one to track it. It wasn't much more than the rental.
“Fastest Car you will ever drive is a rental.”

@@RoeVenturesLLCthis is facts. When my car was in shop, enterprise gave me a charger. Thankfully they don’t check tread wear when you return the car lol
The vehicle being delivered to Baltimore is a huge red flag. Would have gone to her then directly into a container for delivery overseas
Seriously…..The Greek would have been all over that
“And what is the name on the card?” “….muh husband…”
My baby daddy
As someone who works in fraud for a bank, this was awesome to see!
Imagine a car getting stolen and then you see Nigerian UA-camr Passy review it a few months later lol
I'd have hung up about 1 minute of talking to her
The first red flag should have been that she could hardly string 2 words together. lol.
Anyone trying to do business with me and putting "smh" in the email probably would have gone straight to the bin
As a mass resident and someone that has relatives in Brockton, I can tell you that you should NEVER do any business with anybody from Brockton.
Please report her to the FBI since this is interstate fraud.
yea it is federal crime. trying to use fake credit and ID to rent something from another state.
Good luck figuring out who she even is.
They should have sent the car with agents to arrest whoever climbed into the car.
They don't investigate spaghetti crime
You’ll find that nobody really cares about anything anymore
I think as soon as she said "Baltimore", I would have hung up on her. 🤣 I used to live near there.
Ok and
Yep. No reason to do business with Baltimore
not everywhere in baltimore is terrible, majority of it is but you do have wealthy areas, it's just like any big city, philly is a complete slum on one street and the next street over has million dollar homes
I watched the wire. Also Baltimore is factually one of the grossest hell holes in america.
Avoid the cesspool that’s Baltimore at all costs
what about reporting her to the police? isn't faking the documents, cards etc. already illegal?
they honestly probably wouldn't even want to bother doing anything about it
Nothing about that persona was real.
Yea police likely ain’t gonna do anything
"The Police" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 that was the best joke I've heard all week
cops are scared of doing real work😮
The problem is nobody from a law enforcement or even credit card perspective REALLY cares about this kind of thing. Because if they did, you'd have a direct phone number to call and from that point forward everything would be handled by the FBI. Phone calls from the fraudster would go directly to them, and a sting would be set up. Car gets delivered and whoever collects the car gets taken down and thrown in prison for the next few years. I find it absolutely appalling that 1. You have to do this kind of legwork yourself because this is so bad, and 2. Possession of two out of state fake IDs and a modified/fraudulent card doesn't incur the slightest interest from the FBI.
But mahh J6! That's what really matters

Excellent video. It would be fun to say you'll confirm by phone to her hotel room when she's checked in. "Yes, just tell me your room number and I'll phone you there" ... just to hear what lame excuse she'd have for not being able to be in the swanky hotel room :)
The card was cut in half so obviously that's the first thing I noticed. What a sloppy attempt to con someone.
In the distant past when we used magstripes for everything I had a few cards break the way from usage.
I have one right now 3/4ers broken
Back in the 90s we had a fully uniformed cop at the door checking IDs to get in the bar. He had 4 idiots try and use 4 fake IDs that all had the same ID number on them. To a cop. People are stupid.
I've always said .... saying NO to 2% of the people save 98% of the headaches
The pereto principle works almost everywhere when you start using it to look at things. Although the principle is 80/20, the logic is still the same as yours.

You should have taken their information and then when they got there said you only have the donk for rental 😂. Take it or leave it
lol! Does he even still have that?
They were asking for the car to be delivered to Baltimore. So yes, he should've pulled up with the Donk on the truck 😂😂
Fantastic idea. But even the Donk is too good for them
the tail of the "p" on "pursuant" is falling off the edge of the card.
Baltimore is #1 port for automobiles - exporting them out of the country
Just FYI for blocking out the credit card numbers, it's easier to guess the first 4 digits than the last 4 digits.
Philly. Baltimore. Portland. Enough said... should have told her yeah it will be there, just wait out front, then ghost her.
Virginia Beach VA & Brockton MA were all I needed to see.
Damn does VB have some kinda fraud?

BIG RED FLAG
💯
“Oh you don’t have that car, I’ll take the car you do have.”
“Oh you can’t do it on this date I’ll rent on the dates you can do it.”
Those are huge red flags.
Car thieves are perusing this video right now to figure out where they screwed up. Lol.
Using copilot or google Gemini would easily make this scam harder to spot
Well,
They already screwed up by becoming a car thief, so what's the point
There was so many issues with that phone call.
It might be worth making a video.
If Baltimore ever comes up in the conversation then that’s usually a big red flag that it’s a scam lmao
Wow a 2011 Toyota Camry real high roller
Her voice alone is a red flag OMG😅😅😅
Well I guess my 1990 4runner is bad news if I want to rent his Ferrari 😂
Driving a 2011 Camry makes one financially smart. That's how she can afford expensive hotels and car rentals, obviously!
@@MikeKayK but yet you are spending 1000$ hotel room while driving 13 year old camry is 1000% a red flag if you trying to rent out a high end car.
You would be shocked at the cars the rich people I know drive. One of them drove a 1991 Jeep Wagoneer for probably 20 years. Another had a late-90's Saab 9-5 for a similar period, despite making high 7 figures as a partner at a major law firm (He did, however, splurge on a $400,000 boat). Yet another buys his wife a new 911 every year, but drives around a 10 year old Chevy Tahoe. Daily driver doesn't indicate that much about someone's means (though I'll note that, as far as I know, none of these people rent exotics, either. They're just not car people).
@@arbiter1 I was being sarcastic dude 😂 but also I drive a $10k 2006 Highlander and will drop $20k on a 2 week European vacation in a heartbeat. So that's a thing 😉
Good job sharing the red flags. Competition or not, I would never wish ill of anyone else and I think its noble of you to set the example on how good business is run.
As the owner of a 2011 Camry who has money but is frugally committed. You have deeply insulted me 😤😤
That rental would cost more than a 2011 Camry
Either way, a rich guy with a 2011 camry is going to be way too cheap to rent a car like this, so it is still a red flag.
11:12 I have never heard a person say that about the 2011 Camry. So, an old Roll Royce for $5K from my local auction means I’m richer than a guy driving a Tesla Model X 🤔.
@@RoeVenturesLLCIf she is spending thousands a day on a hotel room and ready to spend thousands on a rental car, she could own a 2011 Camry, but she probably also owns a newer car and that would be on her insurance card. Doesn’t mean there are not people who only own 13 year old Camry as there only car, but it is suspicious. And was just one red flag among many others that she was a fraud.
@@RoeVenturesLLCProbably better net worth with a paid off roller versus a financed fancy golf cart

Sounds like she wanted it to go to Baltimore so we can go right into container and on a ship to Saudi Arabia or Nigeria
It might be kind-of tricky to get out of Baltimore though with the bridge salvaging operations.

You can smell that scam the first two minutes of that phone call
The DOB on the ID and drivers license have different birth years, 1980 and 1993 😂
What rob doesn't realize is that this video is doing more to help scammers refine the scam and avoid raising these red flags than helping other rental companies.
The license having a Brockton MA address is the only red flag you would ever need. That city is a giant sewer filled with criminals.
That’s wildly classist and probably racist too coming from you.
Should have called law enforcement where the hotel was and setup a sting. I hate criminals

Great video and subject. I would like to see more videos like this alerting us to possible fraud or illegal activities that affect all of us.

PAPA SPAGHETS EXPLAINS WHY HIS SAUCE RECIPE IS RARELY STOLEN
Janice Sample strikes again! 😆
i love the integration of the office view.
The fraudster's cunning plan didn't account for the notice on Mr. Spaghetti's menu "no skills, no scruples, no service".
She really didn't lengthen the rental. Since you were going to provide the car a day later then originally requested, she shifted the return date one day to compensate.
Never ever ever tell a fraudster how you knew it was fraud, even when it's as amateurishly bad as this one was. The last thing you want is the fraudster calling back in to try again armed with the knowledge of what didn't work the last time.
11:30 “I sent my credentials over” 😂 yeah those credentials look very official legit ma’am 😂
I just come here to read the trolls. Never disappoint!
Varo is an internet banking card. Essentially a prepaid debit. Basically like a Chime or Greendot card. My rental office has a list of those cards we don’t accept. It’s either a brick and mortar bank or bye bye.
so you dont take ally bank ? theres legit banks that are online lol
Today Mr. spaghetti shows us a spicy meatball trying to steal his secret sauce.
11:25 that call back was her fishing if criminal investigation has been started....definately a pro!!!
im surprised that people are still trying this stuff with Rob. He's got almost 900k subs and always talks about how to stop fraud and thefts youd think the people in the business of stealing cars wouldnt bother
Not everyone who rents cars or tries to defraud me knows about my UA-cam.
There are always customers trying to not pay or screw over a business in some way. So when if a customer gives me red flags I just stop contact right away
That 2011 Camry is still new by my Toyota experience. Heck, its motor finally got broken-in. Went to replace my ‘08 Toyota with a new one, but saw Toyota removed comfort features I’ve gotten used to on mine, so told the salesman that car was too basic to be that high priced. Installed a new entertainment system in mine that has CarPlay, so I guess I’ll keep it longer. My son won’t sell his old Toyota and get something newer, so I keep helping him maintain it.
One of the things about China is that many businesses share information with each other. We in the west like to keep information to ourselves to give US an advantage, it’s the opposite in China, share the information to help the next guy so he can help you some day
My favorite part was when rob was talking crap about who drives an old hoopty and balls out when rob is the hoopty king himself and lives that lifestyle 😂😂 Rob your the man. Great video.
10 years later the spaghetti jokes never get old lmao
0:04 soon as i saw the face... immediately no. i have seen what i need to see, immediately no.
Why what did you need to see?
If i were in your line of work i would also require a thumbprint of the person i handed the car off to or that did all the paperwork. Under the current Real ID act....2 thumbprints are taken at the dmv.
I have a real ID, they never took fingerprints.
@@cdrone4066 interesting. I just looked that up and only 4 states require it. I still think it would be a valid way of doing business because criminals usually have their prints on file and if they used a shill with no prints on file, once you explain that the thumbprint is used for 100% identification, they would probably get scared of pretty easily. Just a thought.
Upfront kudo's for the scrutiny, for both your business and competitors. HOWEVER..., you need to take this further and turn this information over to the FBI or Dept of Commerce-Consumer Fraud Division to stop her cold. I bet money this is not a one of, this is most likely routine for her!
They have zero interest in prosecuting these people.
Should have got her to come collect the car and arranged for the police to be waiting once she drives away. Speak to a detective. They’d love a case like this as it undoubtedly links to other crimes
This is why i hire through big companies, they rely on their procedures and dont need to spend a extra 40mins on the phone with me having a quiz to screen me. If i sense this is happening to me during a call i troll the person on the phone or just move on.
Love story time with Rob, please share more of these!
I swear Rob is like a scam magnet lol
On this episode of Rob Ferretti, he prevents the theft of his spaghetti!
She transitioned from light to dark side 😂
I would have just said "yeah, the car will be there" and just let them wait for nothing lol
The ‘eugh’ noise she made when asked for the billing address is exactly the same noise I make when somebody asks me for my company cards billing address. Idk it’s either some tower on the loop in Chicago, some office building in the burbs, the accounts office in utah or my house in Maryland. It seems to change every 6mo. It was the most believable part of the whole thing.
Had someone try to purchase a high end car from me. Would only speak by phone or email and would never answer calls only return them. Her (and I say that loosely) problem was she was trying to impersonate a college professor which we were able to look up as staff members are registered and public. The drivers license was not the person on their staff registry’s website. We alerted the bank and they flagged the activity.
