I was really hoping someone would say that. As I threw this video together, I was going to do a voice over, but then thought it might be better raw. Thank you very much for watching. CUOTO
Coast Guard here, I’ve been on scene for a few weeks, it’s very cool to see things from your perspective. I’m glad we got the channel(s) open for some authorized traffic. Safe travels!
Thank you very much for watching and welcome to the channel Chris. You guys are doing a fantastic job. I will be coming inbound (lute tug) tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1000. Tty on 81. CUOTO
Good Job Captinatin' Luke. First time through a national disaster site with everybody's eyes staring at you. USCG, the NTSB and FBI, industry movers and shakers all focused on YOU. Metal shards, wires in the water, current pushing on the stern, Tim yacking into the camera and leaning in your way to get a better shot. Bravo Zulu! Thank you both!
Very sobering the whole thing. I can't imagine the terror of the bridge crew on the Dali when they realized they were helpless to avoid hitting the bridge. Then those poor chaps on the road bridge itself as it collapsed into the darkness. An awful moment. Thank you for sharing.
I just drove past it yesterday on my way to NY, probably the same day you filmed this, it was really foggy. Such a tragedy. Its creepy to see the ramps just end to nothingness.
It's hard from the various videos to grasp the enormity of this disaster but watching you pass through that channel brought it into perspective! Thank you!
Thanks Tim / Luke for filming your transit through the new "deep water channel" ... gives a real life perception of the damage done that fateful day March 26, 2024. Stay safe ... CUOTO
Thank you for bringing us along on what must have been a pretty intense and emotional journey thru the catastrophe. Life does go on. Take care and CUOTO
Well done Captain. With Luke at the helm and you swinging the camera, we got a first hand look at this scene. The enormity of the job, in size, manpower and equipment is overwhelming. Thanks for taking us along. CUOTO, Ed
Thank you and please do more videos about Baltimore, the bridge and docking in that area. I knew very little about tugs until the bridge fell. Discovered your channel that weekend. I've learned so much from you. You have my deepest appreciation.
Thank you for watching and welcome to the channel. I can only shoot Baltimore content when we get a load into or out of Baltimore. But keep watching. I hope to keep making content you like. CUOTO
Wowsers, crazy up close video! Thanks Tim and Luke, much appreciated! I'm a little surprised that there are still so many containers on that vessel.....
Thanks for this Tim. First time I have seen the extent of the incident from an on-the-water perspective. Amazing and shocking at the same time. RIP to the bridge crew that were killed. You don’t expect to go to work snd never come home. Best wishes from across the Pond 🇬🇧
Wow, great footage. Have seen many videos of the salvage efforts but the first of a ship transit. Watching your transit made me thing of how I would steer from my very old Navy days. Tks again for the video
Bonus video - just watched your regular Tuesday video and found this one. Just what I needed for my second cup of coffee. Stay safe out there and keep the great videos coming!
Thank you for a fantastic video as we were watching through your eyes. Very sad but so much progress. Held my breath and felt goosebumps as you passed the remainder of the Francis Scott Key Bridge. Be safe. Blessings. Sherry 🥰🙏🚢
Thanks captain that was actually the best footage that I've seen so far. you get a real feel for everything and being a former power boater from that area it brought it all into perspective for me. Things are going to change for all the Recreation boaters with slips further up in the Inner Harbor and I'm sure they're paying $5,000 or more a year for a slip in that area and there's going to be all kinds of restrictions put on them I'm sure . Small problems in the realm of things but they are still problems for some people .
Thanks for sharing this! Really a mess and I have picked the Cashman crane and barge as my favorite. I seems to be the smallest and stockiest of all the cranes and it is always working away and doing it's job. They all are doing an amazing job of clearing the wreckage. I don't imagine they allow any traffic through there after dark.
Hey there CUZ! 😁 Great vid bro--an EXCELLENT depiction of the current goings on with the bridge from a perspective that few others (if any) are offering! Awesome work man!
I bet that you would have never thought that you’d see such a thing during all your years at sea. Terrible tragedy. Thank you for the videos Tim. Much love and Safe passages
Very interesting video. Nice job navigating the temporary channel. Lots of cranes and barge traffic in that area. I live nearby and watch the AIS coverage online.
Wonderful, timely coverage. Glad you guys knew where the channel was, certainly not obvious to me with all of the "stuff" in the way. Thanks for making these.
Great video. Tks. It is difficult to feel the size of the accident, until we know the size of your vessel and you passed it through a very small gap. Incredible. Take care. CUOTO.
Thanks Captain Tim & Luke for a great look at the current status of the bridge & Dali. Best views I have seen since the tragic accident. Thanks Captain. CUOTO!
thanks Tim, excellent coverage. Stream Time live is where the video comes from , in which i am one of the camera operators ,and have been watching you for years, hoping you would get down to the Key Bridge
WOW, That's a good perspective of how little room there is for error, especially if there is bad weather, strong winds, and, as in the case of Dali, electrical malfunction.
Good to see you in Balto, Tim. You are passing through my home sailing waters. North side of Brewerton channel is home base for the NPSA (North Point Sailing Association )Weds. races. Welcome.
That was a short cruise, no meals, snacks and hardly enough time for a swim or cocktails. Nice view from a boat or ship’s view, I was in the Army not the Navy cut me some slack here. Good job Luke and the fella with the camera. 😎
Just happened to catch you guys passing through the recovery area on Stream Time Live's Baltimore Harbor cam. Yesterday (May 5th) about 15:30 or so? I was wondering who was at the controls!

@@TimBatSeaExactly this. Fantastic video as always. That channel doesn’t look as wide IRL as I would have expected!
Thanks for the best close-up tour of the Key Bridge Collapse I've seen. Thanks for making and sharing the video.
Thank you very much Ralph! I really appreciate that. CUOTO
I've viewed a lot of videos of the collapsed bridge and cleanup efforts. This video provides the best perspective of all. Thanks so much Tim.
Thank you very much for watching. CUOTO
Thanks Capt Tim & Luke for an incredible close up view of the Key bridge, glad channels were cleared and you can get back in and out of Baltimore.
Thank you very much for watching Steve. CUOTO
The progress they have made in 5 weeks is unbelievable. Thank you for showing the passage!
Thank you for watching. CUOTO
While passing through, it's sad to know that there's still a man missing
Thank you very much for watching. Yes. Very sad. CUOTO
I felt the same. An interesting passage, but solemn as well.
It’s just his earthly remains. His soul has long since departed. But yes sad to think of his demise. I’m a highway worker could have been me
It's a body, not a man.
@@kenbulut-oe8sbwhat if it was your mother. Just another body right?

Doubt they are still onboard.
@@ronbelanger4113 they are still onboard. They are required to remain onboard at least during the initial part of the investigation.
And whatever their faults, had it happened with a well protected bridge, only the careers of a few officers would have been at risk.
For the crew of the MV Dali, it must be close to serving a prison sentence of unknown length.
Thx for the vid.
