@@Wis_Dom The incident you are talking about is the Jemel Roberson shooting, not the Thousand Oaks shooting. In this incident, the casualties were 4 injuries and 1 death, not 12 deaths. Basically Roberson bravely stopped a shooter by tackling him to the ground and put his gun into the shooter's back. When the police showed up, they saw a black male with a gun in the back of another black male (the shooter was also a black guy), and they made the wrong call. Of course, this incident could be racism or crooked cops, but it could also be a horrible mistake or a bad judgment call that resulted in tragedy. There is not enough information to be entirely certain. Either way, it is unfair to say that is incident is a definitive representation of all cops across America.
@Tatea If you honestly believe all cops are bad then that is depressing. My point was that not all cops deserve to be ridiculed for the actions of a few terrible humans. I understand your frustration and I will definitely admit that the issue of systemic racism in the police force is much greater than I initially thought but I don't believe that every cop is bad, and I also believe that most cops are human and are susceptible to making mistakes.
