@ Remedios Sombrio Lol, It's pretty hard to hold my phone steady in one hand and trying to dig it up one handed in that compact black dirt. If you exert a little bit of strength in your digging hand, The hand you holding the camera phone moves. Makes for a very shaky video Lol. I understand the satisfaction of digging it out of the ground when foraging pine 🍄. Thanks, either way you got a point. Been looking for a cheap head mounted video camera.
No, This was Washington. It was few weeks ago. Five of us only manage a basket and a half. Oregon had a better Pine crop then us this year. 2-3 baskets each picker from what I heard.
I went two days ago. Only found a few scraggly chanterelles and lobsters. Hopefully this freeze coming up doesn't shut everything down. Right from summer to winter this year!
Matsutake mushrooms are one of the most expensive mushrooms on earth selling for over 500 per kilo , you should definitely invest in selling them ^^ of course eating them is also very enjoyable ❤
@Suong Nguyen. I am not sure your State produces any Pine 🍄. I could be wrong tho. I've heard rumors of some over in New York. I think there's some up in Bangor, Maine. This looks like its in OR. We just had rain in WA and waiting to go out this weekend!

Had the same thought, hoping to see all our fall goodies starting to pop this weekend. Hood canal area should be doing ok I think.

Yeah I love eating them. Can never get sick of them. I be happy if I can sell for $60 a kilo. 😆 They do sell for that much in Japan
