What a beautiful child. Great parenting to have him in the kitchen with you. You are building memories that he will cherish forever. By the way, a cutting board works to press the tortillas also. I do have a tortilla press, but when I am only doing a few, I use a cutting board that is thin and light.

It was so sweet that you are teaching him to do this. I grew up with 5 brothers and 1 sister. My mother said every man in his lifetime will have to know how to cook. All six sons learned to cook, and to this day they cook better than their wives. It starts with times like this in the kitchen. So proud of you!
