Steve Lukather watched our trio play for 2 hours in a bar in St. John’s nl Canada, bought us beer and stayed around to tell us how much enjoyed our group. Loved our harmonies and complimented our playing

Steve is an amazing guitar player and obviously has been since very early on. I can remember playing “Hold the Line” when I first was learning electric guitar. I played that rhythm guitar hundreds of times and thought I had it down and I was about 16 years old. The lead though, well let’s just say I improvised! 😂
He seems like a very nice guy and definitely underrated. Good interview and probably one of the best versions of Crossroads I’ve heard. Everyone was really into it. That made the difference. Sammy’s voice was hitting those high notes effortlessly and Kenny, well that drummer is just so damn versatile it’s insane. Thanks for the video and wish them all great health and many years of making the best music that inspires and allows us to temporarily escape this crazy world!

Luke is THE MAN! I love when I hear interviews with him and they’re picking his brain about his career. The stories this dude has. The people he’s jammed with. The people he’s recorded with. The songs. My God! The songs he has written and co-written. The funny stories. His stories and the love he had for his brother from another mother, Edward Van Halen. Luke is one of those guys you want to be around and be friends with. The fact that he has survived what has taken so many great musicians down is incredible. Yeah….to be able to hang with Steve Lukather for a day is on my bucket list. And at my age and what life is handing me, the time to empty my bucket is getting shorter and shorter.
