@@dewalphneal2811 The Scriptures you quote show that Israel is divided in two. Paul calls the one part "the election" who have recieved God's grace and His righteousness. The other part, Paul calls "the rest" who are blinded and hardened. Likewise, the Gentiles are divided into the same categories. The remnant of Israel and of the Gentiles who are made righteous in Christ by their robes being made white in His blood, together make up the Bride of Christ.

I appreciate your observance of the latter, however you also have these who Christ tells “because you have kept the word of my patience I will keep you from i.e. ek’ out of the temptation that is going to try the whole world. There are those who come out of it and there are those who are kept from it. Jesus said to pray “lead us not into temptation”, why would he teach us to pray for what is inevitable?

Very thankful for this series. It’s sometimes very disheartening to try to reason with those whose hope is tied to pre-trib rapture. I’ve been accused of trying to steal people’s hope and joy for saying that the pre-trib rapture is an unbiblical lie and that we will go through the tribulation and should be prepared to.
We need to study what the Bible says and not just listen to preachers whose messages make us feel good and comfy.
We need lots of oil in our lamps for what’s to come because everything that can be shaken will be shaken.
Isn't our hope and joy still going to be realized when Christ returns? No persecution however horrible can take that away from us. If we die, we'll meet Him before He returns.
You're right! A lot of pre-trib care more about the possibility of their pets being "left behind " but don't think twice about going to a feast while fellow believers suffer terribly.
Fellow believers do not get left behind. Unless they are fakers and never truly trusted in Christ as their Savior. Those that Jesus never knew. And if course the Bible says the Jews will not repent and believe the gospel . That's why they are left behind. The Bible clearly tells you it's the Jewish people who are still worshipping false gods and 8fols that will be here during the tribulation. But I suppose if you're against the rapture and you prefer to believe we are punished along with unbelieving Jews then maybe you are choosing you will to God. It's one thing to say you are unsure and another thing to call us pre tribbers names and saying we are going to helll because of our beliefs that you feel justified in condemning us. Pot calling the kettle black. .?

I'm 54 years old and was raised on pretrib. I was a firm believer until my church had a split and because I lived so far from another fellowship , I spent 3 years out of a congregation and just studying and reading, coming to this understanding on my own . I struggled with it because of my upbringing, but realizing that this well may be the reason for the scripture that says " ...in those days they will say where is the promise of His coming?".

@@logiciskey7 That's pretty much how I have taken the whole Bible into my life; only what I receive from the Holy Spirit. I was born a Catholic, and when I was born again at the age of 20, I became a dry sponge, and the Bible was the water that I soaked up for months without stop, reading and reading. God started revealing to me truths that I was never taught, as a Catholic, showing me the many things that I was taught as a Catholic that was not biblical at all, and I left it. I was 1 1/2 years into being born again before I was delivered from a demon I had from childhood, and once that happened, I received the Holy Spirit, and He has led me into all truth as Jesus declared He would, and I have never, at the leading of the Lord, gone to a man's theology school. I learn from the Word, and the Holy Spirit's revelation. Most church people will have nothing to do with me, for they are more religious than truth seekers. I believe that a true believer is one that Jesus defines, one that does the same works that He does, even greater, and that these signs will follow them that believe, they will lay hands on the sick, and they shall be healed, they will cast out demons, speak with new tongues, trad upon snakes and scorpions, and if they intake anything that is poisonous it will by no means harm them. If these signs are not following you, according to Jesus, you are not a true believer of the gospel of the kingdom of God. He came not to forgive men of their sins, but to redeem mankind back into the sons of God they were created to be, with all authority over the powers of darkness. We had to be forgiven first, so that was just the way for us to come into being born again of he Spirit of God, no longer living by the old nature, lusts of the corrupted flesh, but not, life by the Spirit, that makes us one with the Father, just as Jesus was one with the Father. I have been to Africa many times, and I have seen the power of God do the very works of Jesus, because I know that if I will be obedient to Jesus' command to lay hands of the sick, then He through the power of the Holy Spirit which has been poured out upon me, will do what the Word spoken through the believer commands it to do, and will cause the demons to be cast out, and for a dead boy to be raised to life as we laid hands upon him and in the authority that is in the name of Jesus used in the one that believes, that boy came back to life. But, when I come back to America, most will just say something like, "Oh, WOW. That's amazing, but they really don't believe, for if they truly believed, they would flock to me and ask me to tell them all about it, and want to have that same kind of experience, as they should if they say they believe, but they are not seeing the kind of things happening in their life, but they keep their distance from me, thinking that either I'm lunatic, or I am a liar. But, I stand before God, and I know the truth of what I have experienced what God can and will do through them that truly believe. Sorry, I've gone on and on. I hope this may encourage you in some way. I am now retired, and my plan is to carry on the work that God has placed upon me and return to Malawi again soon. I too was a pre trib. The reason was because I felt that it would be impossible to go through it. But now I know our Lord wants us to go through this. This is His plan. And His plan is always perfect and never wrong. Thank you so much Joel for the truth. I do also feel very sad for some pastors teaching pre trib. I am a Calvary chapel student. And they teach it's your choice. But I believe if it's not the right choice this could be devastated result. I'm glad that more and more people are waking up and doing the research I love you my dear brother Joel. Please keep teaching us the truth.

It never ceases to amaze me at how they can say these this. Im with you on this spiritual , emotional abuse. Its a sad day when the speaker, preacher, teacher , beats up the body then accuse Jesus of the same.

Thank you again for your time and teaching the truth I was raised pre tribulation rapture but the Holy Spirit showed me the truth I still go to a church that preach that but I teach what the bible says on the last day
We are going through the tribulation. We have to endure till the end . The servant is not greater than the master. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ have mercy on our soul. Love and prayers for everyone.
Great message and I'm glad someone finally spoke up about this there are so many on UA-cam that are leading many people astray. I had rebuked someone about what they were saying and those were the exact words that he said to me Jesus is not going to let his bride be beat up. I could name many also that thinks they're going to flitter away out of here. You can't tell them any different you can but they don't listen and they don't have eyes to see or ears to hear. I want to thank you again for discussing this it needed to be discussed because many are being led astray, by these false teachers. God have mercy on them that they may open see the truth before it's too late.

The one argument that baffles me is when pre-trib brothers and sisters say that “tribulation saints” will be martyred because they didn’t buy a pass before the window closed, therefore this is their severe grace. They’re gonna be saved, but they need to suffer.
Hopefully many of the pre-tribers will have a deep enough faith to realize their “ticket” is on the saints bus!
Indeed some will be saved as by fire, during the Great Tribulation period. But the pretrib "tribulation saints" argument is mere supposition.

Thank you Joel for all the work you put in to bring the truth to light for us. I am in a very small town in the middle of nowhere, mostly Afrikaans, and honestly, I just can't join any church here. It's such a small town and yet so many churches, all of which are virtually empty, so many denominations etc, so I rely on teachers like you, David Pawson, who is now in Glory and very few others that I test against the God and Yeshua that I have come to know late in life after spending 57 years without Him in an Eastern Religion. I'm so grateful, six years later, that I was discipled by a believer who guided me the right way, away from the namby pamby, lovey dovey God and Yeshua that seems to have infected churches throughout the world. I am His and He is mine

WE have a narcissistic form of Christianity taught in these churches. I remember about forty years ago when this went "viral" across the nation. I remember all the "rapture ready" stuff with people writing letters to those "left behind". Prepaying for pet care, running up credit cards(they would be gone so they would not be here to worry about paying it off). Others giving everything away because a date was prophesied that they would be gone. Then they were angry it did not happen. It seems to follow a four or five year elevation pattern. Simplicity put: Get Baptized ( you get a Baptismal certificate), tithe to us, do as thy wilt, wait for rapture date. I have had patients die. I have had two different feelings in a room . One was peaceful and the other was not. One was so bad, I did not want to be in the room. I have witnessed demon possession on the psyche ward. No amount of "medication" was going to help. I have seen suffering and pain. I can not fathom why these people think they will not go through anything. WE have had historical events such as World War 1 AND 2 ,The Great Depression, etc. But, for some reason God is going to rapture them out of a movie theater, concert, sports game, amusement park etc. Thank you for making this video. It is truly needed.

Ironically, it was this escapism mindset, all about escaping persecution is what is going to bring about their persecution. the Church let the country go to hell in a handcart because they got so caught up in trying to figure out when Jesus was going to get them out of here, that they forgot all about His command to occupy til He comes.
Jesus took a ragtag group of 12 disciples and built His church in the midst of the Roman Empire. The pre-trib church, took a nation founded on Godly principals and turned it into the Roman Empire.
As I was watching this video, I thought of this passage.
Revelation 6:
9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne.
10 They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
11 Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.

I really enjoyed this teaching. I used to be pre trib for years until God opened my eyes. Do these pre trib people think Jesus is marrying their present physical body which is tortured? Have they ever heard of a new immortal body when we are resurrected or changed?

There is a difference between an immortal body, and being glorified, but most in the church have no idea. Truth is, all "rapture" doctrines of the denominations are incorrect, some are partly correct. Ask yourself this question, which English bible translation are you using. The answer will immediately inform you if your eschatology is wrong. And truth be known, scripture is clear there will be multiple harpazo.

I can't say it enough, finding FAI early in my walk was such a blessing. I was stepping fast and deep into a mainstream narrative just finding The Lord I was on fire to know more find other Christians and worship. I was floored by the radical differences between the church I remembered from my youth and the churches today in my small town. The Loud concert type Sunday morning sermons, the focus on "self" and yes the pre trib....the we are outta here belief. I remember my grandmother speaking with me about The people and the region that was important in past and future. I remember her saying all eyes to Israel. I didn't know why she use to say that all the time it's so strange cause now I do and it feels almost fateful. The nostalgia for lack of a better word that finding the Lord recently in my older years has brought to me is so beautifully strange. I agree with all of this and that's why I reject the great tribulation as God's wrath, or even directed by God. He merely allows Satan to wage water against the world and persecute all who don't bow down to him. God's wrath against The Beast begins with the bowls of wrath, then Christ returns and wages war against the nations of the world in Chapter 19.

LUKE Chapter 22 is the Passover/Last Supper. Jesus gave to the disciples bread and wine which He stated was His body and His blood making THEM part of His body. He tells them I will not eat any more and I will not drink until the Kingdom of God COMES. This would be the RESURRECTION of the dead and the catching away at His COMING. The Lord's Prayer says THY KINGDOM COME ON EARTH. Jesus Himself says I won't be eating and drinking until I come again. There is no pre-trib.

Amen! I have been trying to use scripture to convince Pre-tribs that their view is un-biblical. I lay down by Chapter and Verse the evidence against their view, and then ask them to counter my argument in a similar manner, as a result, I'm either ignored or in essence insulted, I have used your argument regarding the cross and the large number of persecuted saints, but it seems that they believe themselves different or better than our persecuted brethren. --This angers me to no end!
Can you quote a few of the scriptures you used to try and convince them in the past? Not just the citations, but some full verses.

I think a lot of times people who say things like "Jesus wouldn't allow his bride to be beat up and then drag her to the wedding" they don't realize the implications of what they're saying. To point it out to them I would say "right, because that would mean Jesus doesn't love the church, right? (they'd say, 'exactly!") id continue, "Because no one would 'beat up his bride and then drag her to the wedding'- such a person doesn't really love his bride, right?" My next question would be "so then why did God allow it to happen to the early Church? Are we any better than they? Are they less a part of the body of Christ-those who were first to believe- and first be martyred -are they less than we?
So God didn't really love the Early Church, right?"
I see so many pretrib people citing the fact that God's people are not appointed to wrath. True. But my question is, how much of tribulation is wrath from the devil, and how much of it is God's wrath?
And therefore is it safe to say that, the rapture will be after at least some of the devil's wrath and definitely before God's wrath?

God's wrath occurs the last 3 1/2 years of tribulation during the Time of Jacob's Trouble. The 1st 3 1/2 years are judgment because they rejected the truth. God will have a very small remnant speak before tribulation even starts but they will be rejected by both the bulk of the church and the world!

I think you are being rather harsh. There are many believers that believe in the pre tribulation and have scriptures that they believe back it up. I do not believe these Christians are mocking God .
I became a Christian in a church with very weak sermons. Pastors were self-educated. We haven't heard any sermons on tribulation. The only thing we had was the Bible. We were reading our Bibles, and that was the best source of information. We were not influenced by any eloquent preacher, and we didn't find any information about pre-trib rapture. We were not even aware that this false doctrine exists. Imagine our surprise when we discovered that the vast majority of NA Christians believe in it while it's not in the Scripture! How is it even possible?
Every Christian should read Foxe's Book of Martyrs.

I support FAI financially, but how can I also financially support and give relief to our brothers and sisters in need in these places that are in hard persecution or in hiding. I’m so sick of giving $ for empty buildings and think it’s actually unbiblical. Paul commanded on the 1st day of the week that a collection would be taken FOR the saints, not OF the saints. The $ was taken to saints in Jerusalem and Rome where they were under hard persecution to help meet their needs.

Hello Joel, I am also a post-tribulation believer even though I was raised in the Calvary church which I still attend. I do not agree with that position anymore. My question to you though is you made a comment that it doesn’t call the church the bride of Christ in the New Testament , but when Jesus returns and the marriage, supper of the Lamb happens, it says the bride has made herself ready? Now in my studying, God has made one body of believers out of the gentiles and the Jews (Ephesians 2:14-18.,so anyone who is in Christ is part of that one body of believers now and is going to participate in the marriage supper of the lamb at his second coming.. so I don’t believe that God has two brides, but he has one bride made up of all believers, and that is who the bride is referred to in revelation 19.. am I missing something that you’re saying? Because you said that no where in the New Testament does it say that the church is the bride and I do think Revelation 19 is very clear that the church is the bride. Thank you for your time.

And WHO was that verse written for? Not YOU, the Chruch of Philadelphia. Also, notice it says the hour of temptation or testing, NOT the Great Tribulation.
I notice you didn't quote the scripture where Jesus PROMISES us tribulation, promises we would be persecuted, imprisoned and KILLED for His name, or the verse about he who endures TO THE END, will be saved.
Paul states clearly that the dead in Christ rise FIRST, THEN we who are alive and remain will be caught up at the last trumpet.
Now Rev 20:4-5 clearly states the FIRST resurrection includes those who were killed for not worshipping the beast or taking his mark. Since we can't possibly be raptured before the FIRST resurrection and the first one includes the Tribulation martyrs, then OBVIOUSLY we can't be raptured before the tribulation.
No interpretation or extrapolation of meaning into scriptures, or taking promises made to a church that no longer exists and assign their promise to me.

IMO it's like the pre-trib proponents are blinded to the truth. Most of these people I've heard defend their pre-trib position are smart Bible literate teachers but they miss this topic badly. Joel, thank you for this important teaching.
Since the Bride (and Heavenly Kingdom) is NEW JERUSALEM, that would be difficult at best. Revelation 21:1-22:5
I actually thought of that analogy (about the bride) before I heard it, but I always took it as the groom standing by while the bride gets mugged, not that he did it himself. Either way, I still think it is a good indication of what will occur either way.
For those who think that present day believers NEED to be persecuted and abused before they are deserving of joining the Lord, perhaps they should go to one of the many places that this is happening now. The Church has always been having a tough time, some places more than others, but consider also; while Christians in the West don't normally face physical persecution, they are under horrific assault in other ways. Maybe we do need a few lumps before we enter the wedding party, but it just doesn't seem like it is characteristic of the Lord. Maybe none of us really have a grasp of what is going to happen, that seems very likely.

wrath is not tribulation as you stated incorrectly - different Greek words with different meanings: wrath is not just from God, there is also Satan's wrath (see Rev 12). Tribulation is not from God, but from man, Satan etc.
You could say the same about …..why did God allow his son Jesus Christ to be beaten up? What makes us so set apart from JC? When JC himself states in Matt 24:9……
The pre-trib notion of escapism is a bi-product of the Western church that has been at ease for hundreds of years and has forgotten its roots of agony that bought that reprieve. Our Lord told his disciples “if they have hated me, they will hate you also. The servant is not greater than his Lord. The Lord will purify his church before he returns and be presented with a spotless bride. The true people of God and followers of Christ unify and strengthen amidst the fires of persecution. Just ask Nero and Constantine.

I Hate religious manipulation, as well. In regards to the title, I heard that a lot, very emotional, very wrong. I was going to an “apostolic Pentecost church” for over 20 years, married raised my kids, good, I’m blessed. Then 1 day I got tired of the manipulation and lies of me. I’m out. The Galilean wedding example and the parable of the 10 virgins: pay attention!
1)The Father of the groom alerts the groom it's time to receive his bride.
2)The shofar is blown along the way to receiving the bride.
3)Those along the way that heard the shofar were awaiting and looking foward and had full oiled lamps joined the gathering heading towards the bride.

The pre-tribulation teachers often have scriptures to back up their beliefs. To say otherwise is to misrepresent them. Here are just a few: Luke 21:35, John 14:1-3, Titues 2:13. What they are talking about is not man's wrath but God's wrath. They believe that believers will be tested and will go through man's wrath, but God will rapture His Church before His own wrath is unleashed on the earth. The problem that I see with the teaching is that it is not clarified enough. Believers remain lukewarm instead of making sure to return to their first love which the Lord clearly says He will spew the lukewarm out of His mouth. They stay complacent in themselves instead of keeping close to the cross of Christ.
The Lord disciplines those whom He loves. The word "disciplines" means: beat to a pulp with a rod or large stick to the point of death. Jesus said if we follow Him we will experience tribulation. I like to tell people that if nothing negative is happening to them in their faith walk; i.e., pruning, then God is not disciplining them, and does not love them. We assign way too much to Satan. It is often God trying to purify us and test us as iron sharpens iron. We must go through the furnace and be purified. This hurts. It bruises. It is painful. It is necessary.
Amen. If we suffer with Him, we will reign with Him. The church in America has no stomach for suffering. We can't even endure a runny nose.
Almost 12 minutes if dissing other views. I only bring it up because I’m weighing all the scriptural evidence I can to try and fully understand the rapture. Unfortunately this looks and feels like the typical believer vs believer stuff I’ve seen on countless channels. I detected about zero % of love in this delivery. Must be the current trend.
That could have been time spent delivering a welcoming message to the scriptural evidence for believers in my position.

The way I’ve always understood the tribulation is a purifying process. Separating the wheat from the tares. God continues to operate in the same way as He always has. He uses tribulation to bring about obedience and raise up His true followers. If God did it with Israel (his first wife), why wouldn’t He do it again?

This argument that the pre tribbers use just makes me cringe. I thought it was a super weird argument even back when I was a pre tribber.

Wonderful , (yet respectful to those that hold to the pre tribulation rapture ) lesson. This is one of the biggest differences I have observed between those who believe in a pre tribulation rapture and those who do not . I’m not sure why that is. There seems to be a lack of respect for those who do not agree with the pre tribulation viewpoint. I’m not sure why there is hostility towards someone that does not share in that viewpoint. Let me explain briefly.
There are some pastors I respect and watch that are pre tribulation . I knew that and enjoyed listening to them . They would begin to mention it more and more until it became every time they would teach they would almost push it as this IS the way it will be and it was really bothersome and I would pray for them. One day I decided to say I did not agree with their viewpoint in the chat . When I said that many began acting the exact opposite of a Christ follower to the point it was like bullying. There were some mean and nasty comments. It was disheartening. As in I didn’t feel welcome to be a part . How sad is that ?
That is upsetting because that takes away from the unity of the body of Christ.
Also, I do not hold to a pre tribulation rapture. I came upon this conclusion during a very isolated season of life and reading the scripture . The only teachers I knew of at that time seemed solid in most of their teaching. The only disagreement I had was this viewpoint because although I don’t remember ever being taught one way or the other - I have not held that point of view . Although if it did happen that way it will be a pleasant surprise .
Sometimes opinions can influence others opinions and/or beliefs but the Bible does not say it will happen that way. It seems to give more evidence for something else. Another thing that I have often pondered upon is all but 1 of the apostles of Christ were martyred (and they attempted to martyr him to). Maybe it is just easier or maybe it’s too hard for those who do believe in a pre trib rapture to think any other way.
I do believe we should pray for those on both sides of this coin for both the strength and endurance to stand. And to pray that we would be not deceived and look to the truth of the holy scriptures.

What gets me are pastors who claim that they are open to being held to account and claim that they have adjusted their theological positions, but when I contact them on this topic, I am hastily ignored.
In The Days of Noah an the days of Lot, The Passover, The crossing of the Red sea, Korahs rebellion....God gave his people instructions and they obeyed. Then the wicked were taken and the righteous were kept safe.
Rev 7:3 "Do not harm the land or sea or trees until we have sealed the foreheads of the servants of our God."
Rev 9:4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

The Lord has given revelation about this subject. I have read Matthew 3:12 and that is how the Lord Jesus is going to separate us from the tares. We are all going to be beat!

When one is a slave to comfort there is no room for true faith.This is why as you pointed out there is no wisdom of the cross or the true understanding of what Jesus was teaching and commanding- I guess according to their views Jesus must have been an abusive rabbi because all his closest students and half brother were murdered and one committed suicide..only John remained and as far as I can tell by reading His letters and the book of Rev. John thought meeting Jesus and being in His ministry was the greatest honor ever bestowed! Even though his friends were killed and his life turned upside down/ kinda reminds me of tribulation-

I believe the rapture happens around mid point…in Revelation chapter 6, where it says His wrath Has come…probably the rapture is right before that. Our Father says “kids, get up here, I got some business to take of down there..”..then in chapter 7, 144.000 Jews are. Ow the witnesses, as His focus is turned back to the Jews..

Are the Bride of Christ in the NT and the LORD’s description of Israel as His wife in the OT speaking of the same thing? BTW - I agree that the ‘beat up bride’ is awful; I’m embarrassed it is in use.
No the bride for Christ is for His Son. The Father has Israel.
