Not all, we have singer with all kinds of texture.
Sunidhi chauhan with powerful and folk.
Usha uthap with western powerful and raw.
Kavita seth Or rekha bhardwaj with soothing husky texture.
And half of singers has sweet bright voices
Well there is a HUGE variety of singers ij india(ahem we clearly have alot of population 😂) so u can find from bright and high to dark and low u just have to listen to many indian music of diff genre!
Yes mam this guys train hard , to you need to have extreme precision of your vocal like an instrument ....it's rigorous practice

Most of the Indian singers are properly trained, since from childhood may be in Hindustani classical music or Carnatic classical music..
Raags are most important thing in indian music.. Trust me,some raags are very difficult to sing.. Only properly trained singers can sing that particular raaga.

I. Loved. This. First off, before anything else, Sheena (I hope I got that right) is a wonderful smiley person that I enjoyed listening to! I really thought she had good insight and great things to say. I hope you do other videos with her, and I like the idea of bringing in guests!
I think you spoke well about how as someone who is used to western music, hearing the scales/ragas of eastern music in general is odd, but you're exactly right that sometimes you can just "feel" how right it is, when it is shown so wonderfully. As someone who enjoys studying scales, modes, progressions, and their use cases, I am now going to spend the next several hours researching these different ragas just out of intrigue. I'm now in love with this style.
don't call it eastern music when you KNOW it is INDIAN music. INDIAN INDIAN INDIAN - accept and respect the richness of India.
Brohh....There isn't Any Music Or Style Called As Easter Style. It's Indian Classical Music which is Way Too Hard,😅For Me Too.Singing With Throat is Very Hard And U Have To Care Of Your Throat Once u Make It Perfect, Like Not Drinking Alcohol,Coffee,Cold Drinks and Even You Can't Eat Oily Food😐.

We don't have shreya ghoshals in every corner of the country. If there is one extremely talented person in billion population that's not the greatness of the country. Its individual greatness achievement and grace. Even in countries like Africa you can find some of the greatest people, musicians and world class intellectuals but that doesn't their country are awesome and great. Greatness of a country appears when nation as a whole does well in all areas of life from education to human rights to law& order to judiciary to employment to living standards to entertainment to industry to innovation. That's what we call as greatness of a country.
