I Rescued two Kittens who were Abandoned in the Park

- I found Luke and Leah at the park while I was feeding stray cats. They were really hungry and freezing and about 6 weeks old. Somebody must have just abandoned these 2 kittens. So I took them home and found families for them. Leah was adopted really fast so I didn't get to know her well. Luke was one of the most fascinating kittens I've rescued so far and I'm very happy that I got to spend so much time with him. Cats and kittens are abandoned very often in Russia. The main reason for that is that people are not neutering their housecats and don't know what to do with the kittens.

I had a landlord who discovered I had rescue cats so told me to abandon them in park. I abandoned apartment.

When Luke cries after Leah has gone with her new family, it really breaks my heart. I can't hold my tears 😢
But I am happy to know both kittens have found their forever home and family.
I felt the same way Arudo. Luke, what a sweetie.
That was tough for him. Ideally I would've to find them both a family at the same time but that's not always possible.

Ye and don't speak to them as you would with another human, with lots of words used. Instead, use a few key words to associate with certain feelings, actions or objects - the cats will recognise these key words and even seem as if they can understand our language.

I don't think Luke n Leah should have been separated so soon after rescue.. as we saw him freaking out because of it. He's obviously attatched to females maybe separation from mother was too early. Being a kitten he wanted to bond with others but they weren't interested in excitable types and he was rejected again... given time he would have settled with them.

Cats at this age,or bonded cats in general..take all,or none...same goes for giving away

Cats are loners by nature. They play together as kittens, but when they can eat, you can separate them and they won't miss anything. There was a kitten even younger than these running around my yard by itself, and I could not even catch it.

😺😺❤ So sad that they were separated. One day we found one kitten. Some time after that we found another. It was a relief to know they had each other when we were at work. So for us it was easier to take care of two instead of one. I did not find it necessary to bathe them, and they would never let me. ☺ Anyway, glad to hear that these two found good homes.
