you can either use key framing to place an image at a specific part of the frame and do so for all the frames, or use After Effects and I think it's a bit more automated.

First you play the demo like normally, then you hit F9 twice so that it causes this bug where the spectator hud disappears but it keeps the box radar. I don't actually have it like that in the game normally while I'm playing, I just like this setup when recording.
The refresh rate of the mouse is based on how many fps your computer is calculating. While this video is limited to 60 fps. If he flicked faster than 1/60th of a second it wouldn't show on the video, but would be calculated by the computer.
